In this YouTube commentary, Austin Klar enthusiastically reviews Restoration Hardware’s (RH) recent restoration of the historic Bethlehem Steel building at San Francisco’s Pier 70. Built in 1916 and designed by architect Frederick Mayer, the original structure featured an octagonal lobby with pink marble, coffered ceilings, and plastered walls, serving as office space for 350 employees. RH acquired the building in 2016, completed a meticulous renovation, and reopened it last spring as an 80,000‑square‑foot mixed‑use venue that includes retail, dining, multiple rooftop areas, and wine bars. Klar praises the project for faithfully preserving the building’s historic architectural details while creating a vibrant new gallery space, and he recommends visitors stop by to experience the wine bars and rooftop. He concludes by inviting viewers to follow him for more Bay Area real‑estate highlights.
