In this brief update, Austin Klar announces that A16, a well‑known pizza and Italian wine restaurant originally opened in San Francisco’s Marina District 20 years ago, will open a full‑service location in Napa Valley in February of the following year. Klar notes that after an earlier, unsuccessful pop‑up spritz bar attempt, the new venue will occupy roughly 4,000 sq ft, seat about 90 guests, and feature a 600‑sq‑ft outdoor patio for good weather. The menu will retain A16’s signature Italian wines while also incorporating local Napa staples. Reservations are slated to open in January, and Klar invites viewers to comment on the expansion plans.
