Crescent Heights is proposing a 67-story, 780-foot tower at 10 South Van Ness with 1,100 housing units (84 affordable), retail, and parking. The building would include an indoor pool, outdoor decks, and a 50th-floor common area with city views. If built, it would rank among San Francisco's tallest.

A monster skyscraper that would be the 4th tallest building in San Francisco might be coming to Van Ness Avenue. Developer Crescent Heights recently applied for a 67-story skyscraper on 10 South Van Ness Avenue that would tower 780 feet in the sky. Now, there are several other buildings in the permit pipeline in San Francisco that if built might actually be taller than this one. So it depends which ones actually get built, how things shake out with the height hierarchy. But no matter what, if this thing gets built, it's going to be gargantuan. About 1.5 million square feet for housing, 19,000 square feet for retail, and 32,000 square feet square feet for public open space, plus over 66,000 square feet for parking, enough for 283 cars and 418 bikes. Amenities of the building will include an indoor pool, multiple outdoor deck spaces, and a 50th floor indoor common area with views spanning across the entire city. Arcadis is helming the redesign, and if it actually comes to fruition as currently planned, it'll yield about 1,100 units with 84 dedicated for affordable housing.
