A Cow Hollow staple just reopened with a completely overhauled menu that highlights food as much as drinks. The Brixton on Union Street, which takes its name from a music venue in London, just reopened on August 29th as a food-forward gastropub. The owner brought in Bay Area chef Joey Altman to consult on a whole new menu and completely revamp it. Think things like pork chops, spicy tuna on crispy rice, crudos, deviled eggs with bourbon bacon, Korean-style short ribs, and a whole lot more. And don't worry, brunch is coming back, but it's gonna be a few weeks. Another twist they're adding, the Brixton is now offering private membership, which gives access to things like private tables, tastings, mixology classes, private events, and a free dessert with every reservation. All of this is designed to reestablish itself as a neighborhood staple like what it was when it first opened. I'm really excited to try out the new menu. Let me know in the comments what you're most excited about. [FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
