The first new multifamily development in San Francisco's Nob Hill neighborhood in over 40 years is the Crescent Building at 875 California Street, and it's gorgeous. The 44-unit, 8-story, 100,000-square-foot residential building developed by Grosvenor Americas and architect Robert A.M. Stern uses a crescent shape to maximize views of the Transamerica Pyramid, Coit Tower, San Francisco Bay, Treasure Island, and the downtown San Francisco skyline. Inside, there are stairs from a marble and Venetian plaster lobby that descend into a double-height conservatory that opens up into a private residence garden outside. And penthouses at the top of the building have incredible finishes and views to match. And one of the penthouses, a 3-bed, 2.5-bath, 1,825-square-foot unit, sold in 2022 for $6 million with HOA fees of $2,325 a month. And there are a ton of amenities in this building: private gym, wellness and yoga studio, automated garage, 24/7 attended lobby, and multiple gardens.
