This has to be the most unique condo building in San Francisco. The Garage on Hyde in San Francisco's Russian Hill neighborhood is a collection of 7 2-bed, 2-bath units with origami-inspired geometric shapes and exposed concrete, and I've never seen a design like this before. The 1920s loft-style building was originally designed by Beaux-Arts-trained architect August Hedman and was redeveloped in 2014 into the condos that exist there today. The most unique aspect of this building compared to other condo buildings in the city is that no 2 units are alike. It is not a cookie-cutter condo building at all. When you own there, you truly own a bespoke piece of architectural art. Unit 2 there recently hit the market for $3.85 million with HOA fees of $1,531 a month.
