If this house were 2 blocks west, it would cost millions more. This 8-bed, 6.5-bath, 9,100-square-foot corner mansion at the crest of Pacific Heights is one of the best preserved examples of Tudor architecture in all of San Francisco. Details from when it was built nearly 100 years ago have been meticulously maintained and restored over the years throughout multiple renovations. Gold leaf ceilings, gorgeous millwork, archways, coffered ceilings, and has some incredible amenities rarely found in single-family homes like a full-on gym, movie theater, billiards room, what might be the most jaw-dropping library you'll ever see in a single-family home in the city, a guest apartment, and a stunning south-facing courtyard with fire pit. This is one of my favorite houses in the neighborhood. The home sold about 2 years ago for $9.9 million after spending 2 years on the market, and it's back on the market now for $14.5 million.
