Austin Klar shows off Fjord, a new waterfront sauna opening in Sausalito in July 2025. Floating redwood saunas fit up to six people each, with plunge decks on Richardson Bay. Bookings are already open.
An experience never seen before in the Bay is coming this summer, and I think it's an awesome idea. Floating saunas and a plunge deck are slated to open in Sausalito in July, right on the waterfront. The concept named Fjord has been working on permits for this for over a year, and after a bunch of hard work, finally got approval and completed construction on redwood-clad saunas that can fit up to 6 people directly on Richardson Bay. Bookings are already live on their website, and it looks like you can book single sessions or multiple sessions, and you can even book them all out for private events. It looks like a pretty cool way to experience the waterfront, probably gonna check it out. Let me know what you think in the comments.
