Austin Klar, a San Francisco real estate agent, ranks his top three dinner spots: Flour + Water for handmade pasta, Kukari for whole-pig spit-roast, and Spruce, a Michelin-starred restaurant where he says the burger on an English muffin with pork-belly bacon is the city's best.

San Francisco is known for its incredible food, and here are my top 3 restaurants if you're looking for a nice dinner out. Number 3 on my list is Flour Water, and it's probably the hardest of the 3 on this list to get into. This Italian restaurant in the Mission District serves incredible handmade pasta, and they also host pasta-making classes throughout the year. Number 2 on my list is Kukari in Jackson Square. This Mediterranean restaurant is a great spot both for lunch and for dinner, and if you do happen to go there for lunch, you're probably gonna see an entire pig spit-roasting over an open fire. Their moussaka, which is like a lamb and eggplant casserole with béchamel sauce, is probably my favorite single item of food in the entire city of San Francisco. Number 1 on the list is Spruce in Presidio Heights. This Michelin-starred restaurant is very white tablecloth and serves some very fine dining, but if you're not in the mood for that, you can grab a seat in the lounge or at the bar and order what I think is the best burger in all of San Francisco. You can get it with pork belly bacon and it comes on an English muffin. It is seriously so good. You need to try it. Let me know your favorite dinner spot in the comments.
