In this YouTube monologue, Austin Klar announces the upcoming 24‑acre Cityside Waterfront Park on the western edge of Treasure Island. The park is part of a larger 180‑acre redevelopment that will create a mixed‑use community with roughly 8,000 new homes. When finished, the park will extend about 300 feet inland from the shoreline to Cityside Avenue and stretch roughly three‑quarters of a mile along the bay. CMG is responsible for the park and streetscape designs, which will feature event lawns, natural habitats, sculpted landforms, and uninterrupted bridge‑to‑bridge views across the San Francisco Bay. Klar promises to share footage as construction progresses and invites viewers to follow for updates and comment on the design concepts.

A brand new 24-acre park is coming to Treasure Island, and the views from here are gonna be unlike views in any other part of the Bay Area. Cityside Waterfront Park is being built on the western edge of Treasure Island as part of the 180-acre redevelopment of the entire island that's gonna bring a brand new mixed-use community with 8,000 new homes. When it's completed, the park will span about 300 feet inland from the shore to Cityside Avenue and about 3/4 of a mile in length.
