Here's where to find historic homes in Marin County. First up is Sausalito. You'll find your fair share of modern hillside homes overlooking the bay, but there are also several historic gems, including the Bower House dating back to the mid-1850s and the purportedly haunted Pines dating back to the 1880s. Next up is Gersel Park in San Rafael. There are dozens of beautifully maintained Victorians in the area, many of them dating back to the 1800s. And this guy right here just came up for sale, 9-bed, 9-bath, almost 8,500 square feet for $4 million. And last up is Larkspur, where you can find several century-old homes, especially in the Baltimore Park area. Lining Montavista Avenue were largely developed in the early 1900s, and many of them have the same cottage-style facade that they did back in the day when they were first built.
