Austin Klar ranks three Marin County shopping destinations. The Mill Valley Lumberyard is a 130-year-old converted space in a redwood forest. The Village in Corte Madera has an RH Gallery rooftop restaurant with a standout burger. His top pick is Marin Country Mart in Larkspur for its mix of high-end home goods, consignment shops, and food options.

Here are my top 3 places to go shopping in Marin County. Number 3 on my list is the Mill Valley Lumberyard. What was originally an actual lumberyard 130 years ago has been turned into a tastefully updated, yet really charming shopping and dining experience in Marin County. And best part of it all, it's set among the most beautiful redwood forest and is right next to downtown Mill Valley. Coming in at number 2 on my list is the Village in Corte Madera. The Village has really improved over the past few years with some great high-end retail, but the best addition of all has to be the RH Gallery and rooftop restaurant, one of the most beautiful stores in Marin County with incredible food. Don't sleep on their burger. It's insane. And number 1 on my list is the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur. This has, in my opinion, the best mix of high-end retail anywhere in Marin County. Great home goods stores like DWR, Amber Interiors, Hudson Grace, Jenny Kane, to consignment powerhouse RealReal, cute bookstores. It has something for everyone. And there's a ton of great food there when you need to refuel after a full day of shopping. Follow me for more Bay Area real estate.
