Fisherman's Wharf is getting a new Taco Bell Cantina opening early 2026 in a 3,000-square-foot space at Anchorage Square, with late-night hours like the Oracle Park location. It's part of a broader wave of new restaurants arriving at the iconic San Francisco destination as infrastructure upgrades aim to revive tourism.

Fisherman's Wharf continues to snag new tenants, signaling a rebirth for the tourist destination. Taco Bell Cantina just announced its second location in San Francisco at an approximately 3,000-square-foot space at the Anchorage Square Shopping Center at Fisherman's Wharf. The goal is to open by early next year and hopefully stay open late like its other location near Oracle Park, which is open until 3:00 AM and serves alcohol till 2:00 AM. Other restaurants recently opened or coming to the Wharf include Fire and Ice, Humble Sea Brewing, Everett and Jones Barbecue, and Salvadoran spot Chaska Rio. So there's a lot going on, especially when you combine it with the multimillion-dollar infrastructure upgrade project project that's going on at the site. The Wharf is a staple piece of San Francisco's tourism economy, by far one of the most trafficked sites in San Francisco, but visitorship is down since before the pandemic. Hopefully a sign of more great things to come for the Wharf. Share this with a friend you'd go to the cantina with and follow me for more Bay Area news. [FOREIGN]
