San Francisco is converting a former naval base island into a massive multi-billion dollar mixed-use community with 8,000 new homes, over 300 acres of parks, plus waterfront promenades. And the first for sale residential offering on Treasure Island is coming early next year, and I got a sneak peek. 490 Avenue of the Palms is a collection of about 150 residences at San Francisco's Treasure Island designed by Faujeron Architecture and Mark Cavaliero Associates. Residences range from studios to 3 bedrooms, and west-facing units were designed to maximize unobstructed views spanning from the Bay Bridge bridge across the city to the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County. Sales are expected to begin as early as January of next year. Pricing hasn't been finalized yet, but studios are likely to start near half a million with HOAs in the low $1,000 range depending on the unit size. Each unit comes with underground parking and there's additional space available to lease above ground. I'll give you a full tour when these open, so follow me for more updates.
