Austin Klar tours Sutro Cove, a proposed 20-unit development in San Francisco's Outer Richmond designed by Stanley Sadowitz and Otoma Architects. The hyper-modern homes feature concrete, floor-to-ceiling curved glass mimicking ocean waves, and Pacific views. Two units are affordable housing.

These are the most modern homes to come to the Outer Richmond in decades. The Sutro Cove project designed by Stanley Sadowitz and Otoma Architects would replace two single-family homes in the Richmond currently sitting on 9 lots and create a subdivision with 20 total new units. And in stark contrast to what we typically see in the Richmond, these would be hyper-modern, a mix of concrete with floor-to-ceiling glass windows, balconies overlooking the Pacific Ocean, curved glass designed to imitate the ocean waves. Units would range from studios to 4 bedrooms, and 2 of the 20 units would be dedicated to affordable housing, and there'll be enough parking for 18 cars. I think these look sick and are a great use of underutilized land in the area. Share this with someone you think would love this design concept and follow me for more San Francisco real estate.
