There are few hard and fast rules that I can't find a line of too much for. One of them, if you're in business, is go talk to your customers. I've never heard a business fail because they talked to their customers too much or they listened to their customers too much. The second one is in business management, and that is start with curiosity. Going up to an employee and saying, I'm pretty sure you guys screwed up and I'm just going to keep asking questions until you tell me exactly how you did screw up. Is way less effective than just approaching them and saying, "Hey, I don't know what's going on. Tell me more about whatever the issue is."
