Love that training program. But without further ado, let's jump in right now to one of the Brendon show's best of trainings.
Today I want to share four big concepts about high performance with you every single month. I'M trying to teach about success or achievement or high performance. And I'm always vibing on what's going on with my audience and what I sense is going on in the world to see what can I teach in terms of personal development that might help you find a little more secure base in the world, Find a little more confidence, a little more energy and excitement and influence to go out and crush it every single month. So today's topic, we're going to jump into the topic of high performance. And I want to just share big ideas that I think will probably help you find something needed right now. Whether it's in your personal life, your relationships, your mission, whatever it is, I hope that this will serve you. So bust out your journal, get ready to take some notes. High performance ultimately comes from mastering these different areas of our life. The first one is psychology. So I'm going to give you a tip on psychology today. The next area we have to master in our life to hit high performance is our physiology, our physical structure and body. The next area we have to master for high performance, as you know, is productivity. And the last section is persuasion or I just write for short. People people skills are influence with others. I always say if we can master these areas, everything else falls into alignment into our life and we start crushing it. We experience what we call high performance living, which is that sense of full engagement, joy and confidence that comes from living moment by moment from our full potential as our best selves. That's the magic of high performance. It's the joy and that confidence and engagement that makes everything different. Right. When you have more joy during the day, you're happier. When you're more fully engaged, you're more mindful, more aware, more conscious. Yep. More happy, more confident. You're going for your mission. You believe in yourself. You believe in your ability to figure things out. Yep. More happy and higher performing than your peers or higher performing than your past. First concept I want to talk about today is in your psychology, very important. This is a concept that today I hope really helps because I'm noticing people left and right falling off their dreams. I'm noticing people left and right stressed out of their mind, distracted, upset, constantly complaining. And I'm like, what is going on right now? And I think it's partially. Everyone's overwhelmed and they're constantly being interrupted all day. The more interruptions you have in your life, the less happiness. They've tracked that well, guess what? People have a phone and it's constantly buzzing. They're like, ah. And so they're upset. And I also think I am blessed to work with you guys. People ask me, you know, what's different about your audience? What's different is we have advanced learners. And with advanced learners, one thing about their psychology is they're always striving for bigger things, right? You have high ambitions in your life, which is a beautiful thing. You want to accomplish a lot. And guess what? The more you go to accomplish, the more train wrecks you have in your life make sense. The higher you strive in life, the more you're going to be a hot mess because there's going to be more projects going on as you strive, there's going to be more responsibilities, higher numbers of team, more things you need to manage because that's what success brings. And when people are constantly complaining about it or giving up, it tells me I need to make a reminder about psychology. And here's the reminder to choose to have peace with the chaos. How have you been doing at home, the kids and the family, the in laws, finances? What's your energy been like? What's your psychology been like? Have you been bitter or upset? Complain. Complaining that things are always going wrong or not how you want them to be? You didn't get what you wanted to hear about your health or someone in your family, they were talking bad about you. Something's going on that is just making you chaotic and stressed all the time. And sometimes it can make you feel like a victim. It can make you feel like the world's against you. And I think the first and foremost thing we all have to say is if I'm going to be a high performer, I need to be fully engaged with what is not upset by it, to recognize here it is. This is what I have to deal with now. And when I talk about peace with chaos psychologically, what I want you to think about is to have peace with chaos. You first must have a psychological predisposition to anticipate chaos, to know that it's there. You know, I recently had a situation in my life where I had a duff discussion with somebody who I really care about, who's a good person, but who just can't manage and handle complexity. And because they're in that situation, you know, they make a lot of excuses. Well, I've got, you know, this project going on over here, and this happened in my personal life, and I'm learning these things over there. And, you know, there's lots of other things. And so that energy of lots of other things come into the relationship I had with them. And I had to let him know, hey, I recognize all those, but there's always going to be something. See, the chaos in your life right now cannot be an excuse for your mindset or your attitude. If you haven't read it recently, go back, read Man's Search for Meaning. Viktor Frankl. He said, the last of human freedoms is the ability to choose one's own attitude. They can take away everything from you, but they can't take away your choice of attitude. You choose the emotional reality that you're going to be in on a continuing basis unless you have a mental disorder and are incapable of doing that, which is not. The majority of the public, the majority of the public over a long period of time, they're choosing, constructing and conditioning their emotional reality. They may or may not be conscious or responsible for it, but they are the outcome. That attitude, no one has an attitude. We generate an attitude just like we generate energy over a period of time. And I bring this all up because if there's a lot of chaos in your life right now and you're bemoaning it, you're hating it, you're frustrated, and you're using it as an excuse to be a jerk to the kids, to be an ass to the spouse, to be dispassionate or disconnected from the team, I'm here to tell you you are making a fatal mistake. And that is that one day everything will be perfect. One day there'll be all peace. One day everything will align for you to have a good attitude, to be a good person, to be a great role model. I'm telling you today, develop the psychological conditioning that says, of course things are crazy. The world, the universe, is a space of chaos. And in all of that chaos, as much as we can psychologically or even in physics, prove there's some order, there's more unexplained than there is explained in the universe. We don't get it. But what I'm suggesting to you, if you want to become a high performer and you want to reach that next level, you no longer let it frazzle you. If you are always frazzled, stressed, flustered in chaos, that's not the world's fault, that's not your team's fault, that's not school's fault, that's not, you know, work life, that's not the kid, it's not the car broke down. You don't get to do that as a high performer. If you're going to play an A game, if you're going to be a pro, you don't get to do that anymore. Kids, they get to do that. Unsuccessful people, that's what they do. Strivers and high performers, they go, okay, there's always going to be something in chaos. There's always going to be needs from the world. There's always going to be distractions. And now instead of going and getting flustered, you go, of course. Handle it, handle it. Let me handle that. Got it? There's a confidence that comes that I call peace. When we anticipate that there's chaos, I don't get thrown off. I'm almost like, of course. Of course somebody did something that I don't like. Of course I post the video and some jerk said something wrong. I never get excited about it. I don't get angry about it. It's the most natural thing in the world. Because when you can accept the world as it is, full of terrors, full of chaos, full of jerks, and full of wonders as well, then you develop a greater amount of real self awareness, real consciousness. And now you can be calm amidst a storm for people. You know, a good buddy of mine has a lot of children, and I was recently over at his house, and I walked in and it was like. I mean, it was like July 4th and World War 3 in the House at the same time. I mean, stuff flying through the air. I mean, it was like crazy kids sliding across the floor into things, screaming. I thought they broke their neck. I mean. I mean, total, absolute chaos. Five kids, by the way. I mean, it was just like running around. And I'm not. I think there were even more than five. I think there was one kid. I'm like, who's that kid? They're like, I don't know. He comes in the house once in a while. I mean, it was a complete nightmare. This person is like dishing up fruit salad like nothing's happening. This other person over there, you know, they're making the guacamole dip. There's nothing going. There's. I'm like, oh, my. Because I'm not anticipating that. It's a new environment. I didn't anticipate it for them. That's every day. You get the metaphor. If you don't anticipate it. Overwhelmed stress. Oh, my gosh. If you understand that that's the way it's gonna be. You're making guacamole, man. You got it. You're calm, you're cool. Develop the psychological predisposition for this. And the only way that you do that is you train yourself. Every time the Chaos comes up, you go, naturally, I'm a high performer. How would I handle that as my best self? That's how you meet the world. Of course that happened. How would I meet as my best self? And the way to know if you're failing at this and you are failing at this, if you constantly find yourself flustered or you find yourself making excuses all the time because nothing is causing your behavior outside of your in the moment choice as a conscious adult, we could blame everything else. But you know what? I meet billionaires who I think about the size of their company, the number of people they work with, and then I hang out with them and they're cool hand Luke, they're calm about it. I go, doesn't all these things stress you out? They're like just part of the game, man. And I love that. Just part of the game. That's it. Think about a really great outfielder in baseball out there. I mean, when the ball is cracked, it's in the ninth inning, that ball's coming to them. They're not like, oh, I better, ball's coming to me. It's like, naturally. That's why I play this position. Here comes the damn ball. Poof. Pop. Conditioning, expectation. That of course in the moment, there's going to be demands, of course there's going to be that challenge. Of course the thing's going to fail. And if you haven't got that yet, you completely play victim or you're making excuse about your energy to your family, you're failing. And I say that with all due respect only because you guys are advanced learners, because an advanced learner can take that kind of feedback. Children can't take that feedback. Adults who are high performers can take the feedback. You're like, you know what, you're right. I've been playing a victim here. You know what, you're right. Recently I've been making a lot of excuses. I've been, you know, I've been kind of a jerk to the kids or I've been inattentive with the wife. And you know what? I got to own that I can't blame work. Because guess what? Work's always going to be there. And guess what? If work isn't there, something else will be there. There will always be cause to be a half hearted, half interested, disinterested, lacking present, you know, victim mentality, human being. There's plenty of excuses, blame anything. Oh, well, taxes are due. Oh, well, that thing fell down. Oh, well, you don't understand something. There will always be something. So despite all the something. How are you showing up despite it all? That's the question of high performance. And if that is not ingrained in you, get to High Performance Academy, let us put it in your body, but find it for yourself. Anticipate the chaos. And soon as you anticipate it and know it, then you develop consciousness. Soon you have consciousness about it. There can be a peace as the terror, as the craziness is going on because of course that's what's happening. And now it's your own party in life. You're making your fruit salad, your guacamole dip as it's all going on. It's not that you're not aware of it, it's not that you're attentive to it, it's just you can handle it. That's my psychological intention. Of course it's happening. I expected it. This is part of the journey. I'm not going to fight dishonor, hate or use the struggle as an excuse instead of go, of course, direct my mind, direct my attitude. How would I live for my highest self now, even amidst the chaos, I'll take a peaceful position, a mindful position, a still position inside. And by doing that year over year over year, I handle stress better than other people. You can do this too. And I know I'm preaching to the choir. Many of you already got this down. But if you're with somebody who doesn't have this down, if you are dating somebody, married to somebody, working on a team, if you got somebody who doesn't have this down, watch, have them watch this video because I can say this stuff to them and maybe you can't. So if someone sent you this link, see, I thought that was funny too. Okay, psychology number two, big one, huge one, important physiology. Everyone's asking Brendon, should I try fasting? It's the latest fad. What do you think about it? So let me make some qualifications about this. It's everywhere right now. Everyone's talking about it and that's great fasting. Should I do it? I say yes, but only if you cycle it. And here's what those two things mean together. Fasting, if you haven't heard about it, it just means taking time blocks or days in which you don't eat. You consume nothing but water. Okay, so if you did it like a cleanse, let's say a five day cleanse, well you're still having a fruit smoothie or a protein drink or, or you're consuming electrolytes in some way to survive through that you know, the famous master cleanses and everything else. Most people do cleanses with a shake these days, but a fast means no consumption at all. But water. And people have been asking my opinion on this because it's getting a lot of press, because it can be very powerful in both weight loss and energy. It also has been proven to help do that one thing that we know, and the only thing that we know leads to true enduring weight maintenance and longevity. Those two things together. The only thing is calorie restriction, not meaning you don't eat anything and you're anorexic or bulimic. If you've ever had those issues, see somebody for that work. But it just means that you're just not going through these big times in which you're eating tons of calories and you're all over the place. It just means you're kind of maintaining a lower base of consumption over a period of time. And that's proven to help people live longer. One of the very few things, in fact, to prove that. So that's why fasting's catching on right now. And I also would suggest that even though it's a big buzz thing right now, it's been around for a long time. There are faiths that take, you know, the first day, the first Sunday of the month and don't eat anything. There are times of year that certain faiths don't consume anything. It's not anything new. This is thousands and thousands of years old. It's just, it's going through a big conversation right now. Here is my personal opinion on the matter. If you're going to do it and utilize it, set up a schedule, stick to that schedule, and then change it. That's what's called cycling. So here's an example. You might say, okay, I'm going to eat an early dinner, six o' clock in the evening, and I'm not gonna eat again until noon the next day, right? Or at 6, 8 o' clock dinner. I'm not gonna consume anything until 8 until noon the next day. That would be basically a half day fast. Now make sure if you're gonna do any of that, you, you always consult your nutritionist, your health physician, your doctor, consult a medical professional before making a dietary change that significant. I know you don't need that disclaimer, but believe me, people are really, really, really not intelligent about their approach, how they change their body. Oh, just do that. And it's like if you're on certain medications that could be a disaster for you. If you have A certain metabolic, I would say conditioning, that could be a disaster for you. And so just be very, very, very careful. If you are going to try it, here's my recommendation. Start really slow and maybe do that once per week to build up that tolerance. Build up, let your body know that that's coming. Otherwise you're not going to get the same benefits of it. And frankly, you'll cheat. You're not used to it yet, right? It's kind of like, have you ever walked into a sauna and it's like 130 degrees? You're like, oh. And it like burns your skin. But if you got in there when it was like at 100 and it moved up to 130, you're cool, right? You can handle it because you were acclimatized, you were moved up, right? It's just like if you. That old metaphor, boil the water and drop a frog in, jump out. But if you put the frog in the. Actually don't even try that. Who tried that? Travis? It's horrible. What an awful idea. So once you've worked up to it, then try this idea called cycling. Cycling would be where you cycle your fast. That means let's say one week. Let's say on Saturday night you eat at like 7. You don't do any eating until the next day at noon. Well, then the next week just take a day off, like a whole Sunday. Then the next week go back to that original schedule where it's Saturday night till Sunday. The next week, flip it, do Sunday again. That cycling is going to create a little bit of body confusion. It will train your brain that it's okay and it will give some supposed. There's a lot of research still being done on this. Some supposed boosts in metabolism over the next 48 hours by cycling. If you're going to try it, this is the way I would suggest you do. I am not telling you to do fasting on any given basis, cycling or not. What I am suggesting is, first and foremost, consult your doctor. Second, do your research to see if it's right for you. And three, if you try it, ease yourself into it. And once you get a regular conditioned way of doing it, cycle through my personal practice. People have asked. There is a lot of Sundays that I take off and I don't eat anything unless it's maybe one meal that's just me. And I'm always cycling through. There's a lot of times that I don't have breakfast. Working up to lunch, not because, you know, I have any religious Faith about it or perspective, not even because of science, but basically my body feels like it needs just a break sometimes from the digestive process. That's all. I want my body to be able to work through whatever I've been putting in all week. And so I want to give it a break, that's all. I'm not doing it for the metabolic stuff because I really believe that is still being proven. I'm not doing it for a specific health benefit. I'm doing it because I can tell for me, my body likes that break. You need to decide for you and do it under medical supervision. And especially if you're taking, let's say, anything more than if you're taking any specific medication, like not over the counter, but I mean literally prescribed. You must consult your physician on this. I just, I wanted to address that because so many people have been asking about that. When I do my fasting, I also do not take any supplementation. You know, I teach a lot about supplementation. I don't take any personally. I give my entire digestive process a break. Nothing. I don't do anything but water. That's it. I'm just giving it a break. That's my personal approach. I never do more than a full day fast. I don't know that there's any true benefits from that that could be universally applied. For me personally, I don't feel like it's necessary. Other people have a different opinion. If you do a fast and you're thinking, maybe I'll do a second day, what I encourage you to do, do a full fast day second day. Instead, go to shakes, you know, a protein shake or supplement shake, and then ease yourself back into food. But don't try to extend fasts unless you or your doctor has decided that is appropriate for you. And a multi day fast is an absolute must. Medical, supervised or directed approach. I hope that helps. Okay, number three, big one, productivity. What could you do here this month? Try intention and time blocking. If you don't know what that means, here's what it means. From now on, if your butt hits a chair, if you sit down and you open up a laptop or you turn on the computer, here's what I want you to do. Before that computer opens or turns on or before you start that next task, close your eyes and go, what's my intention here? What must I now complete and how much time am I giving myself for that? What must I say? Complete how much time? And then when you open your eyes, set your phone with an alarm, turn off, put it on airplane mode, set that alarm and go. Too many people just sit down and they kind of know it. They're like, they go, well, Brenda, I have three. You don't understand. I'm busy. I've got three projects I'm working on right now. So they sit down, they kind of work on one kind of work on another one kind of work on. But there's no end time. Just in marketing, as you know, a deadline is everything to an offer. Well, in productivity, in work, a deadline is everything to focus and achievement. So if you're just sitting down randomly at your computer all day, I'm telling you what, getting you to 30% more productive in the week is the easiest thing ever. It's called intention and time blocking. That's it. That's why you've heard me talk about the idea of throughout the week, block time. Well, I do that every day. I'm always, I schedule my block times. But then even when I'm home alone, you know, it's like a day off from the road or from the studio and I'm working. When I sit down, I always train myself. It's just conditioning. Close my eyes. What's the intention right now? Not five things. I'm gonna do one thing. What's that one thing? Oh, I need to do a worksheet. Okay, how much am I gonna give myself? 20 minutes.
Great.
20 minute timer worksheet, go. And that's all I do. Now, some say that sounds like incredible amounts of discipline. I go, yeah, because what's the expense? Incredible amounts of distraction, or worse, delays. If your life is ruined by distraction and delays, and you know it right now, this will change your life forever. See, we just all go about our work too randomly. And as we're going about our work randomly, we lose real focus and progress momentum. And those things happen to be the very things that psychologically we've proven bring you joy. Focus, progress, momentum. When you don't feel those things in your life, there's no focus. You're just like, ah, lacking clarity. You don't have a sense that you're moving ahead and, you know, catching wind, getting toward where you want to go in your life, well, then you're less happy. So give yourself this gift, okay? It's time to reconnect with the power that you have to focus. What's the intention of this activity? What's the deadline? What's the time block? Even if it's 20 minutes or it's an hour, or you say, I've got five hours, whatever it Is there should be either a countdown or an hour that you're aware of. Like, okay, because you've been there before. It's like, oh, my gosh, I must Finish this by 3 to pick up the kids. And you know what? You tend to get it done, don't you? As soon as you know that time, it's like you become more effective. And this is not my opinion. This has been proven in productivity studies for 50 years. Years. Having a time in which an activity is supposed to stop makes a person more focused and productive. But some people are waiting for some, you know, blessed day where that time block comes. Give yourself that time block every day. Begin the activity with intention. What I do is anytime there's a transition, many of you know this. If there's a transition between major, okay, I'm doing the worksheets, but then I got to create a presentation. I do the worksheets. Once I'm done, great. I stand up, I physically move, I get some water. Or if it's just like, if the worksheets only took me 15 minutes and I'm move on the PowerPoint presentation or the keynote, I'll just close my eyes. Good job on the worksheets. Brendan, what's next? I got to do that PowerPoint. Okay, what's the intention for the PowerPoint? Well, I want to make it really creative. I want to make it stand out. I want to make it really precise, and I want to make sure I get it done in 30 minutes or less, because if it takes longer than that, I'm just kind of jerking around. Okay, open eyes. Go. It's just a quick check in. That makes all the difference in the world. Last piece. Big one, really big one is the people category. What I'd like you to do is to start role modeling the energy you wish to experience in the world with others. Here's what I'm going to give you. I'm going to give you a challenge. And here's a challenge I would love for you to purposely, for these next seven days, for the whole next week, I want you to go up to a group of people or your spouse or the kids and purposefully change their energy. Change it. Like, if they're in a bad mood, make them laugh. If they're just kind of bored, engage them. If they're sad, make them happy. If they're happy, make them happier. If they're super happy, make them sad. I'm teasing. All I want you to do is experiment with showing how much you can lead the energy in any given group. Most people have completely forgotten this power, and so their life is an excuse of energy. Well, yeah, Brendan, I hear how happy you are, but you don't have to deal with my husband. And I'm like, yeah, I'm glad. And if I did, I'd probably do it differently. And people go, that's a flippant thing to say, Brennan. I say, hey, look, the energy of the immediate group of people around us over an enduring amount of time, that's called a result, not an accident. That energy is allowed. It is conditioned, it is cued, it is patterned. It is something that two people are creating together, and one person can start shifting it and changing it. If that wasn't true, then why do you have all these men who always saying, my life changed my life, changed my life. She made me happier. Why do you have millions and millions of couples saying, you know what? In this relationship, I became happier because of this other person? We know that we can shift the energy of groups, but we don't take it responsibly, and we don't take it as a moral obligation. I take it responsibly because I know it's a power. You have the power. Once you know you have power, there is responsibility. With that power, I take it as a moral obligation. God didn't put us just here to kind of go through the motions or to interact with groups and do nothing to the group. We wouldn't have influence. We would not have built. Even if you don't believe in God, there would be no biological rationalization in evolution for what's called the mirror neurons. The mirror neurons are the forward part of our brain in which light up and react to other people's behavior and energy. So if all of a sudden you're walking down the street and 15 people start screaming and running away, your body immediately goes, oh, crap. Scared run. You mirror the energy around you. That evolutional effect or that biological reality gifted up from on high, whatever you believe wouldn't exist if it wasn't to be utilized for our advancement and conscious development. But I can't tell you how many people are completely lazy to this effect. They don't even think about it. They don't even think about the fact that they're the role model of energy to the kids. They don't think about. They're the role model of energy to the spouse, to the team, to the waiters, the waitresses, the tsa. I actually do that. It's one of my favorite games for myself. The TSA guys, especially the miserable ones See, when I'm at the airport, what I do, I always look for the TSA guy who's the least happy. That's my line. They go, why would you do that? That line might move slower. I'm like, I know. They go, well, but that guy's going to be a grumpy person. I know. You might get searched. I go, I know. Then why would you go to that guy? I go, because I'm going to brighten his day. Because I can. It's a moral obligation. It's a power. Everyone else in these other lines, they look good. But this guy at the airport, he looks pretty, pretty bad mood. God put me here for a reason. I believe that that guy has mirror neurons just like I have neurons. Assuming he has neurons. See, that was funny, too. And I'll say, you know what? All right, I'm going to take it. My responsibility. I got a couple thousand people in line right here. They all look like they're in a bad mood. These guys look like they're in a bad mood. But, you know, that person looks good. That person, this guy, this guy, he could use a little bit. I don't pretend, and I don't have.
The ego that says I can change.
Him, because I might not be able to, but I'm going to try. I'm going to role model the energy I wish the world had. I wish he was happy at his job. He's not. I'm going to give him a moment of happiness. I'm going to go up, make fun of myself. I'm going to go up, tease about something. I'm going to go up, show some appreciation. I'm going to go up, say something that no one else will say. That's what I'm going to do. I'm going to choose the darkest energy there and go and see if I can play with it. Now you might say, well, Brendan, that might be asking for some pain. That person might be a jerk. It might slow down your life a little bit. Why not just always go to the happy people? And I say, you know what? Because I'm happy. I can handle it. I already know I can handle it. And I'm already blessed. I've already ensured that my life is surrounded by happy, positive, smart, morally grounded, high value, high achieving, high performing people. I'm already blessed there. I'm lucky with that. So I don't feel like, oh, here we go again. I'm like, you know what? Let me see if I can do something here. And I think that's the difference I'm asking you to have these next seven days. Is that mindset that goes, someone need a day brightener? Does someone need that? You know, maybe they're having a bad day. You know, maybe you watch, you know, the kids come in and it's obviously that Johnny's upset and Susie's good. You know, it'd be easy just if that happens day after day to get Houston well, that's how Johnny is, but Johnny's not. One way or another, none of us are. That's what we've learned about neuroplasticity. We can all change. That's what the myth of personality development was for 40 plus years. Now we know even personality isn't as fixed as we used to think it was, that there's going to be major shifts and development in people's lives. Someone who says, I'm an introvert is just so ignorant because that's not a real thing that endures over a period of time. If you don't believe it, look at Susan Cain, who wrote the book on introverts. She was an introvert before she wrote the book. But the demands of service made her have to get comfortable with expressing herself. And now she teaches shares, speaks as comfortably, as expressively as an extrovert. Why? Because we can develop skill sets that supersede our quote unquote, fixed personality from childhood. Please. The world changed. So don't think that one person, don't think that your spouse can't change. You are not in charge of changing them. It's not your responsibility. There's lots of people who are in drama and crisis and they're always going to be there. They're always going to be pushing your boundary. They're always going to be blaming you. They're always going to ask you, that's okay, that's okay. I don't want. Your job is not to fix the hot mess of other people's lives, period. I'm just saying if you got a moment of consciousness in which you could brighten someone's life, take it. If you walk up to a group of people and they're like, I recently went to dinner with some folks and I remember sitting down and I'm just observant. And I was watching people at dinner and it was so mundane. And they're all extraordinary people, but they're tired, they're doing hard work, so just kind of cutting their food and eating it. And I think maybe there was a lack of pop of energy there. So I said, hey, you know, I know this is gonna Be silly, but I'm wondering, let's see if we could change the energy of this group. Can I tell you all a story and maybe you'll share something too? They said, sure. I said, can I tell you something I'm grateful for right now? And they said, okay. I said, if I tell you something I'm grateful for, would you all go around say something too? Because I got a big thing to share and I don't want to be like. I don't want to feel like I'm, you know, like I don't want to take over the table. I'm kind of a little self conscious about sharing this, but it's such a good story, I thought maybe you guys would like it. But if I share mine, I don't want to be that guy who's just talking at the table the whole time. So you have to agree before I share mine. You all share yours. And they're like, okay, I shared what I was grateful for. And of course, as each person shared what they were grateful for, that table came to life. So it doesn't have to be complicated. It just has to be you taking the lead. What's the energy you want to experience in life? Are you doing a good job at role modeling that and demonstrating that or not? I always say it. I mean, there's plenty of days where I walk into this studio and there's a million things going. Like, if you saw my house this morning, which is under construction, you, it was just like, it was like seven, eight, nine people coming in and out, in and out and out. By 8am it was a zoo. But I anticipated there's always going to be chaos. It's always going to. It's just that way. What are my intentions for the day anyway? What is the energy I want to experience and what's the energy I want you all to feel and vibe? You don't know what's going on in my life. It's okay. Because it's not my job in this moment to make that an excuse for a lower level of energy. When it's your job to serve, when your job to lead, you generate the energy that is necessary there. You don't wait for it, hope for it, supplement it, beg for it, excuse it. You bring the energy that you won't experience in the world. If you've been to High performance Academy, you know it. You bring the joy.
