Foreign. Hey, my friends, it's Brendon Burchard. And welcome to a special episode of the Brendon show where we jump into some of the best of my motivational quotes. Hey, y', all, y' all been asking for this for a long time and we finally put it together for you. Every single day, I do a new 60 second audio, sort of my best quotes or of coaching that we put on Instagram. And I have just gotten such an outpouring of love for these. As you can see, each of them tends to get, you know, tens and tens of thousands or tens of tens of tens of thousands of views. So much love for these. And basically what I've done is I. If you haven't seen it, please follow me on Instagram. Brendon Burchard. And what I like to do is post an actual quote of mine that I've written from one of my six books or, you know, the thousands of blogs and articles that I've done. And what I like to do is just grab a little bit of a quote, maybe it's two to three sentences. And so I read the quote on Instagram and then I just go off on that quote for like 60 seconds. So literally just one minute of fire as much as I can pretty much every single day on Instagram that I created originally. And people just wanted like a roundup of those. So finally somebody actually DM me on Instagram and said, man, you should do a mashup of all these on your podcast. These are, like, frigging inspiring. They're insightful, they're motivational because they're some of the best of what I've written. And I think you'll really enjoy these. It's kind of a funny format because each of them was only 62nd. And we're stringing together a bunch of them from this week for you right here in what we're gonna call the motivational quotes episodes. I hope you'll really enjoy that. So without further ado, enjoy these 60 seconds of motivation for your day, my friend. If you really like these, make sure you're following me on Instagram. And also just do me a simple favor that I know you guys are liking these. Take a screenshot of wherever you're listening to this, post it up on your socials and use the Brendon show. That way I can see who's really engaging with these motivational quote sessions. And we'll be doing some giveaways this week and over the next couple weeks, so make sure you use a hashtag the Brendon show when you post about these motivational quotes. Sessions with that. Let's go. In all cases, stay focused. Be your best self. Make the day count. Yes, there's difficulties. Yes, there's hardships. Oh my gosh, there's so many distractions, so much to do, so many obligations. But listen, stay focused. I know you can make excuses. We can blame other people. We can wait for the perfect day. We can hope to be better. No, no. Be your best self. Now. Yeah, maybe you could say tomorrow or the next day or a year from now. No, no, today. Make it count. You know, real reverence for life shows up in time management. If you're really grateful for your life, you're focused, you're showing up as your best, you're making this day count. Simple, simple things, my friend. But they're transformative. Practiced every day. Being focused, being your best self, making this day count can change your life. Listen, lifelong happiness is not a lucky result or, or good fortune. It's a skill and a practice of releasing tension, being present, amplifying love and generating enthusiasm and gratitude. Not hoping enthusiasm and gratitude or love falls on you generating those things. We have the choice of what emotional energy we choose to live in. Long term, yes, things can come up and we can be frustrated by things or an emotion can wash over us. But long term feelings, we get to condition that. That's why I say lifelong happiness. It's not lucky, it's not good fortune. It's that you use your mind to condition that experience over and over and over. And after a long enough time of managing your thoughts, managing your feelings and tilting them towards happiness, it just becomes who you are. My friend, the more you chase approval, the more you repel authenticity. You know, so many of us hope to belong. We hope to fit in. We hope that other people cheer us on, understand us, want to see us succeed, want to support us. We want other people to respect us. And all those things are part of the human condition. Of course, those are beautiful things. But at the same time, if every time you go to make a decision about what you want, every time you go to make a decision about what you should do, every time you go to make a real decision about the future direction of your life, your career, your health, your relationships, and you stop because you think, well, what would other people think? And that little part, what would other people think can poison you from living an authentic life, what will other people think of this that can cheat you from achieving greatness? What will other people think of this that can be the Tao that steals from your greatness. So live your authentic life, my friend. Never let your past or current circumstances limit the vision for your future, for yourself or your family, your community, your difference in this world. Yes, we've all had troubled pasts. We've had childhoods, We've had frustrations, we've had breakups, heartbreaks, failures, difficulties. No one gets here unscathed. And yes, sometimes right now, it sucks. You know, sometimes you don't have the good boss. You don't have the opportunity you want. Sometimes you don't have the skills. You don't know how to do things. Your competency is just a little low because you're starting out or you're confused, or you're a new transition trying to go to a new level. But just because the past had difficulties and struggles and tragedies and the current circumstance isn't perfect, it doesn't mean that within you doesn't reside tremendous potential. It doesn't mean that the future couldn't be extraordinary. You're stronger than you think. Give yourself more credit for having survived the chaos. It's incredible. You emerged from your childhood, from those first years in your career, from those breakups, those heartaches, those challenges. And you're still here with a positive attitude, learning about yourself and trying to grow. Number two, you don't have confidence. You decide to earn it and summon it. Don't expect, just have confidence. Walking throughout the day like it's luck. Or it's like, oh, I just feel great about myself. It's like, no, you're going to earn that through sheer intention followed by sheer initiative, by taking the action. Because when you take the action, your mind says, hey, I'm congruent. I wanted this. I moved towards it. I got some progress. Good for me. Number three, their opinion should not shape your self respect or worth. Stop giving others so much power over how you feel about yourself. And number four, you'll decide to be stronger or you'll simply plateau. So choose to be stronger. Today we think, if I keep working hard, one day I will achieve balance and harmony. But those things are not achieved in work or in the outer world. Balance and harmony come from the mind, from conscious thought, from an in the now decision to allow the world as it is and to allow oneself that daring gift of internal peace. It happens now. There are so many people who say balance is not possible, harmony is not possible. And to those I say, why did you give up so easily? Why did you blame the outer world for preventing you from having internal balance and peace. Why did you look at your to do list and blame that versus looking into the mind and saying I can tame that? That we can find balance even amid the chaos. That we can find harmony even amidst the challenges of life. Okay, my friends, I hope you enjoyed this motivational session here on the Brendon show. And listen, please do yourself a favor.
