This is a podcast titled "New Year, New You: Energize Your Goals from Day One" created in early 2025. The content likely focuses on motivation and goal-setting strategies for the new year. No dialogue or multiple speakers are indicated in the excerpt, and there is no mention of Brendon TEST Burchard participating.
Your breakthrough is the decision to become more. It's an aligned ambition. And when I say aligned ambition, the ambition is become more aligned is do it true to who you are. The best spirit of who you really are. Something internal that is beautiful, that is your gift, that is your calling, that is your divinity that you are going to amplify this year and live in alignment with that truer nature of who you are. Today is my 16th annual New Year's live broadcast. If you've never been with me before, you are in for a treat. We are going to go into the major areas and stages of your life. We're going to really dive deep into some of the things that will give you the great breakthroughs of joy and progress and health and momentum. This year. We're gonna have to work through some of the blocks that have held you back a little bit, and then we'll accelerate you with some very simple and tactical ways to set up your high performance goals and progress for the year. If you've trained with me before, you know I deeply believe in serendipity and the right timings in our life. And there is some reason that we're all here on this first day of 2025, a perfect prime of a year. If you didn't know what that a perfect prime is, if 45 times 45 equals 2025, it's the only one that you'll ever live in your life. The only perfect prime year you'll live in in your life. The last one was what perfect was. A perfect square, I should say. Perfect square was 1936. The next one is 2116. So you are living in a perfect square year. 45 times 45 equals 2025. It's a special year. And I know it's also a special year because it's a year where so many people feel like the momentum must happen. They see the big, significant changes happening culturally. They see it happening worldwide. They see it with technology. They see it in. In their own work and their own missions. Everything is about to shift. We all know AGI is probably coming online this year. There's going to be tidal shifts in how we do our work, how many people we can serve, how we even go through our life with more assistance and support and intelligence. It's going to be an extraordinary time of growth. The question is, as the world changes and grows, can you. The question is, as everything expands, can your spirit expand? The question is in how hard you've been working. Is there a payoff this year where you learn to Be satisfied and fulfilled, where you actually learn to have fun as you work so hard. Because, listen, I don't know about you, but we are in a crisis of fun. People are lacking so much fun and enjoyment and playfulness and adventure in their life, and they don't know what to do about it. They feel like they're caught up and they're struggling. Sometimes they feel like they're alone. Sometimes they feel like everybody else is just gliding right on by and they're being left behind and they just don't know what to do about it. And when you are struggling and you feel alone, entering the New Year just feels like another day. And I know not everybody shares the exhilaration that I personally feel on a New Year's Day, but if you do, I want you to declare right off the bat, as we kick this off, January 1, 2025, this is gonna be a year of something in your life. What is it? A year of blank. My message to you today will be very specific to help you do something very, very accelerated. My message to you today on January 1, 2025, I just want to keep saying January 1, 2025, just feels good. I don't know if you're excited about it as I am, but by the end of this, I promise you'll be exhilarated about the life you're going to design. Whether or not you feel my vibrancy behind this day or not. Because to me, this is a year of bold moves. See, for the last couple years, so many people got bought into the idea of some type of incrementalism. They got, you know, bought in this idea of tiny little adjustments in life. They got bought in this idea that, you know, things are not really going to significantly change. And, you know, they got in the wait and see mindset. They got in the small steps mindset. And I want to tell you this, that's fine. That's fine. We all need some sense of ritual and routine and core habits. A phrase I'll teach you today. We need those core habits that keep us progressing steadily. We need those core habits that are pragmatic, that are determined, that really, we know, work and just move us along in life. But if you have great core habits, but you never have bold moves, you fall into stagnancy and you fail to realize your fuller potential. Right? We need those step ups in life. Sometimes you need a step change in life. Maybe this year. Is that for you or not? Some people go, this is just the year of recovery for me, Brendan, this is a year of rest for me, Brendan. And this is the year of calm and centeredness and peace. And I'm like, great. Whatever it is for you, I think today's training is going to help lock it in. But especially for those who feel like this needs to be a year of step change, a year of bigger moves, of greater assertiveness and progress and achievement, this will really be for you. Because a lot of people lost that mental edge to even think that way in the last couple years have been so confusing and divisive and disruptive. So for me, it's a year of bold moves. I'm going to help you find where that needs to rest in your life and where that might be true. Today's agenda, I want to walk you through. I don't have slides for you today. I don't have fancy cards for you today. I realize heading into this year a lot of people just need real encouragement. So again, what is this year for you? A year of what? A year of blank. Fill in the blank. As we get going, today's agenda, I'm going to fill in the blank in a couple different ways. I'm going to talk about the four life stages that this broadcast and this training in your personal development might find you in. Right? We all hopefully consciously mature throughout our lives, but sometimes we're not fully aware of what those stages are. I'm talking about the four life stages to today. Then I'm going to talk about the four breakthroughs. As many of you know, I'm blessed to coach four billionaires right now. Literally every week I talk to them and then I reach millions of you every single week. And I've been training in personal development for now 25 years even feels weird to say, you know, my first book came out 25 years ago. I have only really done one thing in my entire life and that's personal and professional development. I've done that for myself, but I've been teaching that, you know, for 25 years and full time for 16 in my professional life as a high performance coach. And so in this journey I've gotten to interact with so many extraordinary high level people, people just like you, who are striving for a different type of life. You tend to be more high performing. And honestly, what you're doing here today is super rare. While there'll be tens of thousands of people watching this, ultimately I can also tell you that, you know, probably a million saw the invitation. Very few people do disciplined personal development. They say they want promotions, they don't do the professional development. They say they want to be happier. They can barely read a book or listen to a podcast in self improvement. They can do entertainment, but they're not doing empowerment. And so they always fall to the level of just their basic homeostatic nature. They never rise to a different potential and a different vision and ambition for themselves. You being here, it's extraordinary. So I want to thank you. It's going to be a playful day. It's going to be a fun day. I hope that if you've trained with me before, you know, I'm going to push a little bit here. I believe even though this is a free broadcast for my community every year on the 1st, I always feel that I am paid to push. You got enough friends in your life, you got enough placaters in your life, and you got enough doubts that let you rest on your laurels, let you play small. But if you read your motivation manifesto, which I hope you will all read this time of year, once again, it's a tradition for tens of thousands of people, they read the motivation manifesto every January, you will know that the book starts with a very simple question. Why is it those of us endowed with the heart of a lion consent to live as mice? Why do we play smaller than our spirit is? Why do you have those bigger dreams and aspirations, but then you can barely do your to do list on a Monday. Why do you dream of such amazing things for your family and your future, but then at the moment of choice, when you have an hour to work, you turn on Netflix or you browse TikTok. What's going on? You know, our world is getting lost in our priorities. And worse, we're getting lost in a vision of what life can actually be and feel like. You have today an opportunity to really make moves from where you're at, not what caused where you're at, from where you are at what your life is like. When I was growing up, I had the opportunity to go to another country. And I was walking in a park, and in this park they had, you know, these chessboards set up. It was like probably like 20, 30, 40 people playing chess. And I saw this one guy who must have been some kind of chess master or something. He was the one. He was standing up. Everyone else was sitting down at the chess boards. And I noticed that he was playing six different people at the same time. He was going from board to board to board to board playing. And then sometimes other people would call him over and he just walk over, not knowing his opponent, not knowing the pieces, not knowing what caused the board to be what it is. He could just walk up and look at it and go, all right, this is the next move. And he spent very little time, if any, maybe a microsecond of ruminating on why everything was where it was at versus what's the next right move. And see, we've gotten to a culture where all we want to do is find out the cause and we want to know everybody's opinion and we want to have all the understanding of why every piece in our life is exactly as it is. And we will ruminate it and we will will think about it, we will delay, we will procrastinate until we have all the perfect information. Then one day, hopefully we'll do our dream. No, you act from the board. The pieces have been laid out. Your life is as it is today. Your health actually is what it is today. Your mission, your cause, your purpose, your finances, your family, your marriage, your kids, your relationships with everything. You can have hope there, but you better have reality there. You've got to meet reality where it is not what you hoped 10 years ago. You're meeting reality where it is. This day, January 1, 2025, in a realistic determination of where everything is on the board in your life. And you're going to make moves. The game does not progress until you make a move. You don't know their actual judgments, their actual opinions, your actual enemies, your actual results. Until you make a move, this year has to be those moves. No delay, no procrastination. No more rumination, no more. I have to figure out every root cause of everything in my life from my childhood. Hey, listen, I'm all about self reflection. I'm very into this stuff. I'm a dork. I don't have to work anymore. I haven't had to work for in 17 years. I still show up for you guys every day because I know the difference that is made. When you get your mindset back on the board and you make a move in life, what major moves are you going to make this year and what minor moves are you going to make this year? How are you going to position yourself on the board of life so that you can win this game or the next ones? This metaphor is so important for us today. And I think that some people don't realize that that is a true and important conscious choice. You've heard me teaching this now for I think I coined this phrase in 2003 to make the next right action of integrity. That's the work that we're going to do what are the next right actions of integrity, the next moves of integrity and conviction and progress that will advance your life. This is the stuff and the fire I hope to bring you to today. And I want to acknowledge everybody here again with great gratitude. I want to lay it all out. I'm here to push a little bit, I'm here to challenge a little bit. Because this year, if it's going to be a year of breakthroughs, I'm going to have to push a little bit on the part of you that is still alive in there, that wants to lead better. The part of you that's still alive and in fire in there to live a life that's passionate and fun. I have so many people this last year, they just kept burning out and burning out and burning out. In fact, most of the major influencers and two of the billionaires I work with, they found because they knew there had to be a better way. They had worked, they had hustled, they had grinded, they achieved extraordinary things. And then they realized they never actually enjoyed it, they never actually had fun. Their body felt awful the entire time. They wrecked lots of relationships. And if you read high performance habits, you found that the biggest research that still to this day has ever been done on high performers worldwide. It's abundantly clear that what they do is they achieve outstanding results, but they maintain their well being and their positive relationships. I say this every year because it's just so shocking to people that you can have an extraordinary quality of life with real harmony internally and, and externally. And it sounds so out of touch when you know you're down and out, when things aren't working well, when you feel like you've actually tried everything, when you've been stuck for three or four or five years, and I know a lot of the world has been that way. It seems like there's been lots of advancements and I think that's true technologically. But I think culturally we haven't become that much more conscious. Even as we are literally spending trillions of dollars a year now to make artificial intelligence more conscious. Very few people are doing the conscious work. So I celebrate you being here and I want to really lay that out for you, how that works in our lives. With first talking about the four life stages. Now, I think you'll know these fairly straightforward, but the truth is they're not always just sequential in people's lives. They tend to be in human behavior change and adult development. But let's test where you're at in these. You know, when we're first born. That first life stage. The first life stage, it's really all about mimicry and belonging. That's what it's about. You know, you're a little baby and you're mimicking mom's face. You know, as you grow up a little bit more, you're mimicking the people around you. When they laugh, you laugh. When they coo, you cue. When they move, you move. You know, there's a lot of that copying to learn life. You're copying moves and eye patterns, you're copying voice and tonality. You're copying where to go, what to think. You're copying everything. You're just a little baby of mimicry as you are growing up. And of course, survival is based on love and belonging. And more than anything, a child wants to belong in a family. When they feel like they're not a part of the family, that causes tremendous amounts of disruption in their development. It tends to cause, like, serious need for later reflection in life or therapy in life. When you're the odd kid out, when no one loves you as you're growing up, you just feel like you don't even belong to the family you're in. Sometimes. That's normal. You got a weird family. It's. You're just different than them. That's totally normal. Everybody is different. If there's one constant in the universe, it's actually difference. Now, I know the true. Like, you know, pantheists or panpsychists might not believe that because it's like, no, no, no, there's one universal consciousness, one universal energy, and one universal God. But I'm here to say, even if all of those things are true, and I know we have lots of different faiths from around the world right now, even if all of that is true, that, Constance, is difference. Look at every single planet that we have ever been able to observe scientifically, every single thing that we've ever studied is actually quite different. There might be common elements, but listen, Saturn looks a whole lot different than Mars. Our stars look a whole lot different than other stars. Even if the matter might be similar. Right? So your matter of genetic matter from your family might be quite similar. You're different. Your composition, your mindset, your psychology, perhaps your goals and real ambitions, those will evolve beyond just mimicry and belonging. The challenge is, for many people, it doesn't. I know adults, I can look back to their last year, and all they did is copy everybody. They saw what this person was doing on Instagram, so they started doing it. They saw what this person did at work. So they did it. They, you know, they weren't sure of who they were, so they just started doing everything their boyfriend did. They weren't sure of who they were, so all they did is just try to fit in. And everything was just, I need to fit in. I need to be popular, I need to be accepted. And every effort is to become other people, to hopefully fit in with other people. Even adults do this. But that is childhood development, not conscious development, when all you do is copy others and you become a replication of other people's will and preferences and their life agenda. You wake up one day on January 1, 2025, you're like, what the hell am I doing? Whose life am I living? And some of the great breakthroughs in people's lives is when they realize it's time to develop their own life agenda again. To develop their own preferences, their own style, their own humanity, their own freedom, their own sense of the world that all of a sudden it's like, wait, wait, I gotta shift. I've been trying to fit in with everybody else and copying what they're doing. Even adults do that. That's sort of life stage one. But it can also be shift one for people realizing how much mimicry and belonging are you after Now. Belonging is important, and mimicry, learning from others is also important. So in no way am I making those things bad. I'm just trying to set the frame for where we're going today. The second life stage that's really important is that we end up because of those things. We end up into rebellion and individualism. So it's like, okay, we've copied everybody we belong and done what they said. And then you're a teenager. And that rebellion from, you know, usually like 8 years old to like 25 is massive for some people. They are like, wait, I'm tired of belonging to. I want my full independence. Screw you, mom and dad. I'm doing my own thing. And you set out to architect yourself. You set out to find what you really feel like. This is where you rebel against the system, against the parents. There's rebellion in your life. You need a major reset and you know it. And you need to find your own way. And you almost divide yourself from people, even people who you love. You just stop sharing as much with them, even people you love, because you're trying to go inside a little bit. You're trying to find what's true in here now, not what is copyable out there. And so a funny thing, in rebellion, even though the Word rebellion sounds like it's at war with people and it's highly active. A lot of people's rebellion is silence. They just stop sharing with other people. They don't want to go out with other people anymore. They don't want to be a part of it. There's a reason your teenager locks themselves in the room by themselves. And yes, this even happened before the Internet is because you go inside a little bit and you're like, what am I about? I don't want to be like that. I don't understand. It's a very scary place to be because a lot of people go inside, they lock the door, they go silent. That rebellion is stirring in them, but they don't know what to do with it. They don't know how to share it. They know how to shape it. They haven't studied personal development like you have, so there's no clarity there. They know there's independence in here, but they don't know how to find it. They struggle with what I talk about in Motivation Manifesto, which is personal freedom, that sense of I, I know who I am and I'm free to be who I am, unencumbered by other people's expectations. And I know who I am and what I like to do, unencumbered by my own doubts or other people's obligations. I can be free to be who I am and do what I want in life. And I take joy from that freedom. Not a lot of people ever find that freedom. And so even though they're rebellious and even though they're internal, that rebellion and that independence corrodes and becomes bitterness. You ever met a teenager who's stuck in the teenage mentality of bitterness against other people? Even when they're 40 years old, 50 years old, they're like, whoa. They're still stuck in some kind of, like, bitterness against other people is because they've seen other people live their life. They don't want to mimic it. They're not sure they want to belong, but they don't know where they belong. They have no emotional or spiritual home and freedom. And because they don't have it and because they don't know how to connect with other people, there's a bitterness that forms and that life stage sticks around for a lot of people. And when they have that, it's so hard to watch. And this is why it's important that we all make self awareness a way of life. We need coaches, we need input, we need inspirational life strategies to listen to, continually open up our mind to Ourselves, not just to understand what works. A lot of people, they listen to podcasts, they study books, they obsess about what other people have done. Mimicry. They want us to achieve things, to belong and be accepted. Belonging. And yet they've never gone inside enough to find out what's true for them. The third life stage that shifts people, and that is usually developmental, too, is just that rhythm and hustle stage of life. You know, at some point, you get that job or you've had that kid, and life becomes a little bit of a rhythm. It's wild at first. New job, new kid, new city, scary. But there's a settling in, into adulthood. At some point, you know, you get the job, you know where the income's coming from. You got the kid, you're going through the motions. You know what to buy at the grocery store each week. You kind of. You get a rhythm going. And with that rhythm, there's a busyness. And the busyness becomes a little bit of hustle. You're always trying to keep up, right? You're always trying to keep up. You know what to do. You know what to do. You know what your job is, you know, your commute. You know which kid goes to which school and what to give them at lunch. Like, there's a rhythm, but you're always trying to keep up. You always feel like you're a little bit behind. There's. That's why I use the word hustle here, a little bit. It feels like you're always just a little bit behind. Many of you have never felt ahead in your life, and this is not a correlation to your achievements. You've never felt ahead in your life because you've never been head up here because you've never taught yourself to feel fulfilled, because you've never taught yourself that the day was good and the day was enough, that you've not yet learned to strive. Satisfied. Yes. Work hard and be in harmony. And so if you work hard and you're out of harmony, you're hustling. If you work hard and in your harmony, you're high performing. It's a different level of experience. People always say, brendan, how do you do? Like, if you looked at my schedule, a lot of people, they look at my schedule, it's like, you'll cry for me, Argentina. You're like, oh, my God, Brandon, how could you possibly do all this? You even ironed your sweater this morning. I mean, it's like, wow, we do so many things. You also notice I blew up a pen on myself this Morning. I cut myself shaving this morning. So if it looks pretty composed. You know what? I'm working hard, too. And yet I like to tell people all the time that maybe there's a better way for you at this next stage of your life that doesn't feel like you're always behind, that you're always hustling, or that there's a rhythm running in your life so much that you're also what a lot of Americans are really struggling with. In all the abundance that we fortunately have, I would say more of the developed world is struggling with this. They're bored. They're bored. They can have rhythm and hustle, but they're bored. I know this is hard for you to understand, and you probably don't take any notes on this because that's probably not you. You're curious, you're a learner. You want to be generous, and you want to grow. You want to live an exceptional life. You're into greatness. But I. I know we all have different life stages. Sometimes we're just stuck, and stuck feels like scary. But it also can be very boring. And sometimes you gotta knock yourself out of the boring. I always tell people, how do you know if you're living a boring life? It's because consumption and distraction eats most of your day. The average American is still watching four hours of television a day and scrolling two hours on the Internet on their phone every day. Six hours of blind consumption every day. Six hours. I don't even. I'm almost like, where do they have the time? Don't they have a family? Don't they want to build something? I mean, I can understand when we lose an hour or two to distraction each day. Most people have that experience. But that also means they're losing 30 to 60 hours a month. Whoa. Losing 30 to 60 hours a month. That's a whole workweek if you're really focused. So most people are losing an extraordinary amount of time. And the sad thing is, a lot of that time, we blame distraction. But the truth is, it's boredom. There's no internal guiding system anymore. There's no conviction anymore as we're going to talk about. And this life stage, for a lot of people, it goes for decades. And if this just sounds like I'm describing these life stages as terrible, I'm not. Because guess what? When you were struggling before and all of a sudden you find some rhythm and you find your thing, you're hustling, it can feel very alive, too. It can feel amazing time of your life where you got some, like, solidity underneath you. There's like, a steadfastness. Now you know what you're doing there. So this is not all negative. I'm just trying to tee up where we're gonna go. The fourth life stage now is about renewal and leadership. This is where many of you are in your life. Renewal. I know that sounds too soft for some of you. You can also use the word reinvention. So whether it's renewal or reinvention, I like the word renewal because it feels like it happens every week, which I believe it does. Every week there's a process of renewing our physical system and our mental systems and our spiritual systems. We have that opportunity every Sunday to reset spiritually, every Monday to reset with our priorities, every Friday to reflect of where we've been. One of the reasons I started Growth Day was to start creating a rhythm in people's lives. But for a lot of people, I think it's a year of renewal and leadership. My ultra group, which is the highest level of membership in Growth Day, we're focusing on leadership a lot this year. And there's that part of, like, that self leadership, if you will, like guiding yourself by your own vision and staying accountable and empowered on the path, but also that social side of leadership, right? You got to lead your family, you got to lead your church, your community, your school, your workplace, your friends. Like, we're all in positions of leadership. And if you want to know what the difference is between everybody who's about to lose their job to AI and those who are going to maintain and build it will be leadership. Fundamentally, the difference between you and the AI that can replace you is going to be your creative leadership, but your ability to have vision and to compel yourself and others in that direction, it's going to change everything. And a lot of people have never had any leadership skills training at all. I mean, they literally can't even lead themselves to change a habit, let alone shift something at work or in their culture. So think about this. This year. Is this a year of renewal and leadership? Now, renewal can mean, like, it's a spiritual renewal for you. It can be an energetic renewal. It's not like the rhythms of your life and the things you're hustling towards are quote, unquote, wrong. It's that the way that you sought them didn't feel right. Let me say it again. It's not that the things that you're doing are wrong. It's the way that you're seeking those and striving towards them doesn't feel right. A lot of renewal I've worked on with people in this last year especially, it's just about teaching them to feel the day, like, feel the vibrancy and the awe and the presence of the energy in the situations around you again, to get in touch with an energy again. Because, see, when life is so crazy, and especially for those of us in the last couple years, because of the political divisiveness or the scariness of the world, you know, you rebelled against the world. You went inside and you don't feel anything out there anymore. And it kind of shocks you, like, why don't I feel things in my marriage, Brendan? I'm like, oh. Cause you're only feeling yourself. That's why you don't feel things in the marriage. A lot of people went inside, they're rebelling. You have a fight with your partner or your spouse, and what do you do? You go inside, you protect yourself. You're in protection mode, not presence mode. And a lot of people, they live in protection all the time, and they're shocked why they don't feel life. See, part of coaching is helping people realize sometimes their blocks aren't the things they're doing, it's how they're experiencing them. And I think a lot of people need a renewal of their energy this year to feel beyond themselves in a world that's so divisive. You rebel from the division and you go independent, internal. And what happens is you stop feeling anything. And it's a very disconcerting reality. And so I want to encourage you to maybe, oh, maybe this is your eye open again. I know you went inside to protect yourself. I know you went inside because you hate the vitriol and the noise out there. But you have to open to the energy of your kids and your spouse and. And the people you are serving your mission with. Again. See, we close ourselves off, and as we close ourselves off, that makes sense. But it's like the teenager closing the door and refusing to go to school a little bit. We got to get you back out in the world, open to learn and to develop again. That's the stuff of renewal. I also just feel we're in a crisis of leadership. We're not having the role models of character. We have people who have high ambitions for money, but not a lot of people have high ambitions for character. And we're going to talk about that as a central breakthrough today. So, so far, I've just covered a big picture of the four stages of our development. The first stage was that stage in which we are really into mimicry and belonging. Those are our most important things. The second was rebellion and independence. The third one was routine or rhythm and hustle. And the fourth one now is renewal and leadership. It's just much more of a conscious life, conscious of our own mind, body, spirit, renewing energies, but also conscious of the energies and the missions we are putting out in the world with leadership. And that's what I think this year is going to be about for so many of you in growth day. Having heard literally and read millions of comments this year, it's been like very astounding to me how many people need a moment of renewal and leadership again because it will bring you back to life, to tap back into an inner fire. For sure, that sense of renewal. Some of you, you haven't had a day off, you need renewal. Rest, recovery is part of renewal. But renewal is also, I would say, an expansion. It is an openness to, to presence and energy and spirit or divine. Again, whatever it is for you that is external and beautiful and good and expansive, it's time to tap back into that. If you don't, it's going to be a very hard year because you'll be stuck in one of these life stages that might not be for you. And so I think ultimately the highest consciousness we can do is when our consciousness in alignment of the renewing energies of the universe and the divine and we are in leadership in ourself and those around us. And today I'd like to give some breakthroughs to help you get there and really find what that's going to be for you this year. But right now I'd like to actually talk to you about the four big breakthroughs that I've seen from all my clients over now. I guess 17, 18 years as a full time high performance coach where I can show you some of the big breakthroughs they have. Okay, the four breakthroughs that I've seen in my clients year after year after year for 16 years, number one breakthrough is what I would refer to as aligned ambitions. Now let me cut this off in the past because a lot of people, their ambitions year after year after year after year are very external, status driven things. Most people, they just want more market share, they want more capital, they want more money. And every year it's like, I'm gonna get rich this year. And it's always some external thing and every year they seem to come up short or if they achieve it, it doesn't feel good. Many of you achieved outstanding things like, it's incredible what you've done in your life, but it doesn't feel good yet and you're unsure of why. Let me, let me help you with this very simple metaphor here. A lot of people after more market share in their life, status, power, money. Very few people are after what I would call magic, share a share of magic in their life. Now, don't worry, I'm not going to get too woo woo on you. Just stick with me. What I mean by that is where that each day or each week, there's a sense of awe and appreciation. It kind of feels like because you are on your right path, that things seem to just like be attracted to what you're doing, that the right people keep coming into your life, the right doors keep opening, the right coincidence just keep happening. And you almost feel like for some reason you are guided or maybe you're called and sometimes it's kind of surprising and you're just kind of like, wow, you just get in a rhythm of good things keep opening for you. You keep meeting better and better people. You keep having more and more opportunities. So much so that you almost have to say like, no, because you are on the right path. There's something that the universe seems to sense about that. Now, not to get into like weird quantum stuff for you, but in another metaphor, I just believe when you are on your right path, the universe sees it. When you are committed to it, the universe goes, hey, she likes this. This is her path. She's enjoying it. She's also grateful. She's also appreciative, hey, let's give her more. And because you're doing the right thing. And listen, you feel it, you sense it, you appreciate it, you acknowledge it's not just you, it's not just dumb chaos, but maybe it's even a gift. It's ever like you have a friend where every time you give them a gift, they get so excited and so grateful, you literally drive away and you think, what am I going to get them next time? Because when someone enjoys a gift, you want to give them more. When somebody has a blessing and they sense the blessing and they utilize it and they're appreciative of it. It's almost like, hey, Mikey likes it. Give him more. This is what I mean by aligned ambitions. It's when you are on your right path, living in the right way of integrity for yourself. But most people, their ambitions are just stuff. Money, car, house, promotion. Money, car, house, promotion. Do you know how many people I've met who have money Cars, houses and great promotion and are miserable because their ambition is external and it's, you know, the fruits of something. Their ambition is not aligned to a path. Their ambition is not aligned to a path. So because there's no alignment to the path, they're all over the place. And they're all over the place, hunting, they're scavenging money, house, car, fame, power, influence, promotion all day long. They're just always scavenging because they never aligned their ambitions to something that is internal and a path, a sense of who they are and a particular purpose that's important to them. So let me break it down to be very specific in case this sounds a little woo woo for some of you. Okay? What is an aligned ambition? Let me just give them to you and maybe this will help you. Because really there's only four aligned ambitions. The first ambition, and this has to do so much with your 20, 25 and your new year for a very specific reason. And that is because your first aligned ambition is about who you are becoming. It's called character. If you have no ambition about the character that you're going to forge within you, the strength of who you are, the personality, you're going to choose who you are becoming. If I don't have intention for who I am becoming, and please listen, I have intention not just for who I'm becoming, because remember I used the word ambition. So let me change the phrase. When you align ambition to this, I can say I have intention for who I'm becoming. That's nice. Aligned ambition means ambition. I have intention for becoming more. That's what ambition is. More. Now I know some people don't like the word more. Oh, he's just teaching people to chase more things, be more things, be on an ever quest of never satisfied with self. I'm like, well actually ambition doesn't just mean more. Ambition can also mean deeper. I have the ambition to become deeper in my spirituality, my faith, my self confidence, my abilities, my capabilities, my leadership. I want to be a person of high levels of respect, respect of myself, respect of others. I want to be a person of high trust. I want to conduct myself in such a way that you trust me, that you can count on me that I'm a good role model for other people. Do you know how few people actually consciously say I'd like to conduct my life in such a way I'm a role model for others. You know what's so strange? That was table stakes earlier in the human development story. You know, you look back, I mean, go Back thousands of years being a role model, a good member of society, a good mom, a good dad, a positive parent. These were expected, these were norms. When you read Marcus Aurelius or any stoicism, there was an expectation that we conduct ourselves to be trustworthy, to be respected, to be contributing members of our family and our community. This is the stuff of character. And for many of you this year, I know you can write all the goals down, right? You know, I want a new ADU in the backyard where I can go do yoga or write. That's good. I love material goals just like anybody else. But we're not going to start there. We're going to start with it's your year to become more. Your year to become more. That's big. That's a huge shift. Your breakthrough is the decision to, to become more. It's an aligned ambition. And when I say aligned ambition, the ambition is become more aligned is do it true to who you are. The best spirit of who you really are. Something internal that is beautiful. That is your gift, that is your calling, that is your divinity that you are going to amplify this year. You're going to open it up and you're going to amplify it this year and live in alignment with that truer nature of who you are. It's so important that you find that, and I know it might sound weird from just some guy in a room literally by myself. I'm going to remind you of that again. I'm literally by myself talking to Lens. I'm meeting you knowing that there's tens of thousands of people with us today. Because when I say something like what I'm about to say, it sounds strange when it's just some dude in a room, but because I've been blessed to be in the rooms with you guys, you know, for 15 years I did eight seminars a year. Some of those seminars, most of them were all four day seminars. And you know, on average 15, 20% of the room was from all around the world. And you know, in that journey, 15 years, think about that. 15 years, eight events a year with people from all over the world. I spent most of my life in rooms with you all. I've been coaching people one on one for almost all of my adult life. And so I spend my life seeing something that maybe you don't see and that is, I know, a greater possibility in your life. And it's not what you're going to achieve, it's who are you going to decide to become? It is the aligned ambition of character. And sometimes you get so down on yourself and so discouraged about yourself or the world, you have no idea of the magnificence that's still in you. You lost tap of the reservoir of love and power and energy and fun and joy that's in there. And I'm here to tell you, you don't know what's in there. You will never know what's in there because it's a potential that is bigger than you. You can't guess your destiny. It's so far beyond you, like life energy, this universe, God, there's something so far beyond you, you'll never even know. That gives me hope, that tells me there's something in me that I can tap that I don't even know I'm dealing with this hardship over there, but I can become someone capable of handling that. Wow. I have this dream. It's so far away from me. I mean, I can't even imagine how it could ever get there. I don't know the people. I don't have the resources. I don't have the tools. I'm not like them, but I can become that. When you get that, you are untapped, babe. You think you've given a lot. You haven't touched it yet. You think you've been a good leader. You haven't touched it yet. You think you've had joys and exhilaration and love in your life. You haven't even touched it yet. And that's the hope of life, that we can continually evolve and grow into potentialities that we can't fathom. I literally could never have fathomed what I experienced in my life at all. From the joys I get to have, from the love I get to experience with my wife, the opportunities I get to have in my business, the people I get to talk to on a daily basis, the opportunity to serve you every day in growth day. Like I had never imagined it. This year can be something that you can't even imagine if you tap into a decision to become more because it's going to ask you to expand into a potential beyond what you're comfortable with. Ambition. It starts with character. Who am I going to become? This? I'm going to become immense. Not like immense status or whatever. I mean, just your capability, your competency, your ability to love and to serve and to generate. It's way bigger than it was a decade ago. Stop living like you were a decade ago. Play what's on the board right now and realize that whatever's on the board Right now is tiny compared to the grander plan. There's so much more potential in you, and if you can tap into that, everything shifts. Everything shifts. Align ambition to character. Who are you going to become? I want you to become extremely proud and capable. I want you to be a person who respects yourself and respects other people. I want you to believe again in the strong capabilities and integrity that allows you to become a role model. And even if you feel like you're down and out, do not forget you can become the role model. Do not forget that other people need role models. Do not forget that we need positive lights right now. You know why you should turn it around? Because it's a sign of character that you can and that you believed and that you tried and that other people are watching. You can be an inspirational light, but it begins with choosing that character, that decision to become more. Become more as a mom this year, become more as a leader this year. I know every time I ask somebody become more, it seems like I'm accusing them of not being enough. And it couldn't be further the truth because it has nothing to do with enough because you don't even know your potential. And everyone in our therapy culture got so stuck into, am I enough? Am I enough? I am enough. And we're completely blind to the extraordinary potential in them. Enough. What are we, teenagers? Am I enough? Am I worthy? Do you even know what you're tapping into? Do you even know what you're a part of? See, it's that independent part of ourselves that we lock ourselves in a room like high schoolers, wondering if we are enough, if we are worthy enough. And it's like, no. When you open up your conscious and you realize you haven't even tapped, like a tiny. It's kind of like you've been driving a car at 10 miles an hour and you're like, geez, am I driving fast enough? And you have no idea. You are driving a Formula One race car that can go 300 miles an hour easily. You're like, easily. I know, maybe 200, but you get the idea. It's like, easily, like the car is built for that potential. But when you're playing small or you don't believe and you're so unsure because you're living with your foot on the brake, you have no idea. You're wondering, am I doing enough going 10 miles an hour? You don't even understand you have 200 in you. And it's easy because you can become more. You can grow into the person who can handle Anything that life is going to throw your way, even if it seems impossible right now. Aligned ambition, I said there's a few parts of it. The first part about this aligned ambition is character. The second part of aligned ambition is competence. Competence. You've got to develop expertise and mastery in life. You have to become more capable. You know, I know finances are hard. Teach yourself wealth. I know getting healthy is hard. Teach yourself how to work out and how to eat. I know parenting is hard. Read some books, try more, ask more. I know it's hard. It doesn't matter that it's hard. What matters is you determine to develop mastery. There, that's it. Nothing I do was easy the first time, but I didn't gauge it. Well, that's hard. So I stopped. No, I said, that's hard. That's unknown. I don't get it. Does it match with where I want to go and what I want to become? Oh, it does. I better learn it. You got to learn it. Self mastery. Aligned ambition is about competence. You need to start learning the things to build the future you want. And I know that's easy for everybody here because you get that idea because you're learning. But don't forget, learning is not about consumption. Learning is taking idea into initiative to trigger a feedback loop. Idea into initiative to trigger a feedback loop. Idea into initiative to trigger a feedback loop. There is no learning without motion. There is no learning without implementation. And so if you've been learning, learning, learning how to build a webpage, but you haven't built the web page. Build the web page, right. That's competence. Competence is something of an action. It's not something that's just intellectual. Right? Wisdom is different than ideas because wisdom is applied wisdom. You take the idea and the values and you deploy it. You live wise, not just think. And so I need you to understand that competence is in motion and doing. And for those who've been delaying and in procrastination, realize what's happening is as you're in delay and procrastination, the universe is going, oh, I guess she doesn't like it. I guess she doesn't want it because she's not even trying. She hasn't even put it into play yet. You got to be in play actively for the universe to go. She likes it. There's some momentum. Let's put some wings behind her. Third big idea in aligned ambition is about your level of contribution. Contribution. Aligned ambition means I'm going to be generous. Aligned ambition means I know what I'm going to contribute and how often. So when I wanted to become what now people call a creator, I was like, I'm going to create weekly long form content. I knew what my contribution was going to be. Original weekly long form content that for me began 17 years ago. 17 years. Actually, maybe 18 years. 17 or 18 years ago. Every week I was like, my contribution. I'm not going to be the guy I was so clear in my aligned ambition. My ambition was to create original frameworks and content in human development. I didn't want to be the guy just interviewed everybody. So my podcast isn't interviewing the same, you know, guest who's been on 50 other podcasts. He's like, no, I want to create original frameworks based on research and application. And I want it to be timeless. Someone can watch at any time and it still is relevant to their lives. That was a unique view of the contribution I wanted to make. What's the unique contribution you want to make at work? What's the unique contribution you want to make in your industry? What's unique contribution you want to make for your congregation, your community, your school? Without high intention there, you're doing busy work, but not your life's work. And this year is a year you shift boldly into your life's work. High intention, contribution and generosity versus going through motions busy. The more all you do is going through motions busy. Listen, I'm okay if you're busy, but whatever. Busy is high intention for what the contribution is. Everybody can do the same task, but some people do it so differently. My great and my favorite metaphor is going, you know, going out to restaurants, like everyone can make a Bolognese, but man, when you get a great chef, the way that they are going to create the art of their Bolognese is going to be so specific. They've really thought through how do they do Bolognese. Even though it's not that many ingredients, let's be honest, their unique take and their unique taste, that's aligned ambition. That's doing your life's work versus just tasks. You see, you have to find your way aligned ambition is I'm going to contribute in my unique way is bringing way more intentionality to it, right? When you see a great speaker or teacher or pastor or leader, the way that they share is so unique to them. It's like no one else could do it. It's not just because they're a specific individual. They're so unique, personality wise. It's unique to them, right? Like me, I'm not that unique as a personality. I'M kind of boring, you know, I'm kind of a dork. I really love the research, I really love writing. I really love the one to one aspect of my coaching life. But you know, I'm not that original. I'm not going to take off on TikTok because of my face. But what happens for other people is like, it's the high intentionality. They can see it in my frameworks, in how I teach. It's a high degree of intentionality. It's another level of conscious thought before I teach. And they're like, oh wow, he's pulling together a lot here. I hear psychology, I hear therapy, I hear a lot behind philosophy. Oh, I hear where he's going with this cultural thing and people can see that now. Maybe it's not the best, but it's mine. Remember Sinatra's I did it my way? Are you doing life your way? The contributions uniquely your way. That's aligned ambition. Is it settling in you getting this? That's aligned ambition. Oh, this is the year of high intention. Behind my contributions. I'm gonna learn the taste. It's like when I see my wife design our house. Everything is so thought out and so uniquely hers. It's high intention for the contribution of what she's designing and creating. It's like, oh wow. It's like this pillow and this cover and this thing there. Stuff that I don't even understand. It's just like watching a chef who can out cook you. You're just like, okay, there's art happening here even though they're in the same kitchen doing the same thing. So that's your levels that's going to make this year fly for you. It's going to open up new. It's going to be so different of a life experience. When you hear what I'm saying here, most people it's not listen. Money, power, fame, status, house, cars, yachts and what like, oh, that's great. I am not bemoaning if that's your material stuff, it's just not going to make you feel alive when you get it, what's going to make you feel alive? Aligned ambitions of character. First and foremost. Aligned ambitions of competence, learning, doing. Aligned ambition of contribution. High intention, high generosity and fourth big aligned ambition, connection. How you treat other people this year. Elevated striver, elevated. Way more presence. Way more presence with other people. Way more presence. P R E S E N C E Presence not presents like Christmas presents with a T, presents with a C, presents with other people. I want you to get out of your head and off your phone and be with people. Be playful with them. Be flirty with them. Be fun with them. Be cajoling with them. Shake them in the shoulders a little bit. Like, show them that you're there with them again. Make love with your spouse or partner. A new renewal baby. I want you to get there in such a way that you're like, oh, I'm with people again. Many people, they don't know how to. They go out with their friends, and they're not even with their friends. Their mind is somewhere else. Their concerns are somewhere else. They don't even. I met so many people this last couple years, they genuinely don't know how to have fun. It's like, I'm there with them. We're at lunch and they're just going. You know, everything's like, programmatic. Like, oh, we're gonna sit here and wait for the food, and then we're get the food. Then we'll eat the food. And then we might say, how's the weather? And then we're gonna leave, and then we're gonna clean up the dishes. It's like. It's so, like, fake. It's so procedural. There's no energy and zest and vibe and presence. Did you know people are fun? Did you know that? Now, I know I'm preaching the choir, but I know you can see it in culture. I know you can see in teams. I've been brought. Listen, I was brought out to Disney this year to keynote their leadership conference and their internal leadership conference and, you know, working with their executives and their best people. And I went out and even at such an amazing company, I think one thing that made them so amazing was there was a playfulness there with so many of the people. Like, they were still alive and they were present, they were playful with other people. And when you get into that world of magic, if you will, it's like, oh, wow. There can be, like, a childlike playfulness and joy of life. Now, of course, there, like any other place, there are some people who just aren't into it. They've detached. They're more in the rebellion and the independence or in the rhythm and the hustle. They forgot that renewing energy of spirit with other people and leadership with other people. I want you to get way more present with people this year. Remember, when you are present with other people, when it's fun, it's affectionate, it's playful. That's the stuff of life. Most people, at the end of their lives, when they talk about what they achieved, what they had. When they talk about their ambitions and whether they were fulfilled or not. Above all of that, completely tied and correlated, by the way, to their longevity and their health span is all about the quality of their relationships. They had some really great friends, they chose the right partners, they loved their spouse. There was respect and communication and fun and affection there. And just because you didn't have it seven moves ago or three chess boards ago, you don't get to blame anymore. As a conscious adult who's into renewal and leadership, how your parents raised you, you can be aware of it, you can't blame it. You can look back to all the people of your life, how they treated you, you can blame it, sure, and it will get you nowhere. But bitterness instead. You're going to play the pieces on the board right now. Who is in your life, love on them. Who's in your life. Put good energy and affection there. Even if you didn't get good energy and affection from other people or even from that person. I always tell people, hey, you know when you're living a conscious life is when you can still exude positive good energy around people who are pessimistic and don't believe and don't even like you. There's a lot of people in this world who don't like me. It doesn't stop me from being me. Stop being the pure, joyous, fun, affectionate you just. Cause some people don't get it. They don't like you and they're not gonna remember later. It doesn't matter. And if anything, you might be the spark that shifts them. You might be the lighthouse in their dark world that makes them go, oh, maybe I can. Can I? Can I have fun again? I've been that person who brought joy into people's lives because I teach that phrase, bring the joy. And they're like, brendan, I forgot about joy. Thank you for talking about it all the time. I forgot I could have fun. I forgot I could laugh. I forgot I could learn. I forgot I could enjoy learning and giving and serving. I forgot I could flirt in my marriage. I forgot I could like laugh with the kids. I forgot because they were in rhythm and hustle. The big breakthroughs. I said, the first big chunk we're taking today is aligned ambition. Aligned ambition means high intentionality, belief, generosity in character development, in competency development, in the contributions that you make in your relationships. Connection, character, competence, contribution, connection. Got it. If you're going to have breakthroughs, it's going to happen there. No matter what goals you set for your bank account, you got it. Powerful stuff, life changing stuff. If you got it, I know that you're getting fired up today to make some bold moves. Okay, we can have high degrees of ambition. That's the big breakthrough. Number one. High levels of aligned ambition. That's breakthrough, number one. Breakthrough. Number two is higher agency in life. Higher agency. Personal agency is an action bias. Personal agency means I take initiative because so many people get lost in the psychology terms, high agency equals taking initiatives. That's what it really ultimately means. We could say it, it's, you know, having intention. I'm like, no, no, no, no. Intention is a form of ambition. No, no, I want more from you. I want action this year and action bias. To take initiative, to be a person of high personal responsibility who takes assertiveness and initiative seriously in their life. See, to me, when you have high agency, you have something that is so powerful. You have within you that ability to assert yourself into the world. Not lock yourself in your room, assert yourself into the room, assert yourself into the school, assert yourself at work, assert yourself into the difficulty, right? It's the firefighter that still asserts themselves into the burning building that's scary. And that's the stuff of real courage. See, when you assert yourself in a difficult situations, that's courageous. Not when you think about it, when you actually assert yourself when you take the initiative. And so many of us, because we want psychological safety 24 7, we've had no courage for a decade. Courage. Asserting yourself even when it's not safe. Asserting yourself even when it's not comfortable. Not worrying about, do I feel perfect, but rather, can I do something here? Can I contribute here? Can I lead here? Can I shift here? Even if it's going to feel awkward, weird and weird and awful. I don't know, like I had to assert myself in every area of my life. I didn't know how to speak on stage. I had to assert myself. I didn't know how to sell a book. I had to assert myself. I didn't know how to do these broadcasts. I had to assert myself. You have to take initiative to learn the thing and do the thing over and over and over. That's high agency, right? Taking command of your life, that's high agency. Being in a forward, lean, assertive, initiative, focused style of living again. Being back in motion, making those bold moves, doing the things even when it's hard, that is what's going to shift you through. And that's the thing that gives you the even potentiality of having all the Things you want, the bigger house, the bigger car, the paying for school, the extraordinary wealth, achievements and health, none of it happens without asserting yourself into the world again, higher agency in your life. You are the agent of control in your life, ultimately. Now I'm someone who believes that there's a higher agent of control. I believe in God, and I believe in his divine guidance. And I also know God has a lot of will for me. God has opened up doors. God believes, but I can also feel that impulse and feel that calling, and I can choose not to do it. And that free will that we were granted, I believe in that. I believe I can let myself and my God down. I actually believe I can. I believe that I can hear a calling and I can fight against it and resist against it for years, even though he's cheering me on, even though he's opening doors. And now I know not everyone believes in that or that approach to life or even that type of faith, but I believe that there is something divine and bigger than me. But I got to participate. I got to participate, man. And some of you, you've been fighting your greatness for a really long time. You've been fighting those grander impulses to contribute and to lead and to give and to start something. You've been fighting. You've been your own worst enemy, even though you had the knowledge, the wisdom and the calling and only one thing I've ever seen break it. And I said, it's a breakthrough. Number one, we got to align those ambitions again. But number two, you got to take the initiative. You got to get back in the arena. You got to play the game. You got to run that extra mile, give that extra thing. It won't feel comfortable. Our world is so trapped in beliefs about comfort and especially about safety and blame, about other people, versus just going, hey, it's Monday. Did you do the thing? You felt called to it? Did you? And if you didn't, don't blame. Play the board, make the next right move. Don't sit and think about it. Don't ask everybody else. Wonder about all the other pieces. See the board. Where do you want to go? Make the move. You have to get back in motion again and take the initiative. It's so important for you. There's so much greatness in you, and it is untapped unless you take the initiative over and over and over and over again and you keep up leveling. And I know some people say, oh, my gosh, this sounds exhausting, Brennan. I gotta push myself. I'm like, yeah, if you have higher ambitions for this year than last year, you got to push yourself. You have to take the initiative again. Hire agency. This is, like, so important. But some people always go, well, Brendan, I just don't know. I know I need to take initiative, but I've got the ambitions. And sometimes I take initiative, sometimes I don't. But I still, I don't feel like I'm breaking through. Whoa. What else could it be? I'm like, well, there's two other things. The third, big breakthrough. And I love this word. Please write it in all capital letters in your notes. Conviction. Some people have high agency. They take the initiative, but they lack conviction. Conviction. What is conviction? Forgive me for being a little high performance guy, but I think it's important to break down terms for people. Most people don't know what I mean by conviction, so. And I know we have a worldwide audience, so let me just break it down in my style. And it might not be textbook conviction, but I believe most people who have ambitions and they take initiative, but they don't break through, they didn't have the conviction there. What is conviction? Well, I think conviction can be broken down into three parts. The first part about conviction is really the answer to a what if statement. In psychology or my coaching business, we would call this expectancy, right? All motivation and all conviction rests on expectancy. What you expect will happen well, in your brain, the way your brain forms what I expect will happen is the simple and elegant phrase of what if? Your brain asks the question, what if I do this? How will it turn out? What if it turns out positive? Or what if it turns out negative? Is the foundation of expectancy and conviction. So to have high conviction about something, I expect it will turn out well. I expect the what if will be a positive statement. What if this is the breakthrough? What if this earns me more? What if she says yes? What if I get that first sale? What if one out of a thousand say yes? What if I do this and it turns it all around? What if? And it's positive. What if? And it's positive. Most people lack conviction in their life because their what if? Statement has a negative conclusion. What if I'm not enough? What if they don't like me? What if the resources don't show up? What if they let me down? What if I'm a loser? What if? Followed by a negative statement, negative statement, negative statement, over and over and over and over again, and they wonder why there's no belief, no fire, no conviction. Their expectancy is negative versus positive. And generative. When your expectancy goes, oh, it's going to turn out well and I can keep generating that over and over and growing from that positive outcome, then why try? Why not just stay home? Why give anything of myself if I believe things are going to turn out bad? And that's true for a lot of people. Their expectancy is negative, so there's no conviction. Their mindset is negative and pessimistic because they're not doing this daily stuff of feeding your brain with positive inspiration, self improvement, personal development, professional development. Because some of you have never had anybody believe in you or it's been too intermittent. Someone believed in you when you were in high school, but they hadn't believed in you in your own marriage. They haven't believed in you in your own school. You haven't seen anybody for so long because you've been wrapped in your own life, in your own room, in your own rhythm and your own hustle, that no one's cheered you on at the level to give you the conviction. And either the conviction comes from within or someone gives it to you. I'm somebody. I have to listen to it a lot because my mind can take over and go in other places that are not helpful, that take away my conviction. So I said there's three parts in conviction. Number one is expectancy. What if followed by a positive, generative, powerful statement. But also conviction is a level. The other two parts of it are intensity and urgency. See, a lot of people, they know they have good ambitions, they're character driven people, they want to take initiative, but the conviction's gone, man. There's no intensity, there's no edge, there's no urgency. They show up and go through the motions and they're just kind of like out of it because they haven't taught themselves to feel the reward of what they do, feel the impact of what they do. There's no intensity there. There's no care there because they're going through the motions versus really crafting their contribution. There's no conviction in the marriage anymore because they haven't opened themselves up to be present and fun and affectionate. So see, the more bland things are every single day because you put no intention and generosity into it. The more you're killing your intensity and conviction. I also believe most people have sufficient urgency. Urgency. And you know why most people have urgency? They've never had accountability in their life. That's why people don't have urgency in their life because they never had accountability. They never had someone say, hey, this was the deadline, you missed it. They never had someone say, hey, this was what you promised. They never had someone say, hey, you were supposed to show up. You need to show up. And see, the problem is, you think I'm saying that as a boss, I'm saying that your brain didn't do that. Your brain didn't expect you to be a person of character who followed through on what you said. So you lost all urgency. Because guess what? If I don't have to follow through on what I say, what's so urgent if I don't have to follow through this week, this day, this ever. If you don't give yourself deadlines, don't be shocked that you're not driven anymore. If you don't give yourself deadlines, don't be shocked. You're not driven. I have to give myself so many deadlines to maintain the edge and the drive and the fire. And some people say, oh, that feels like a lot of pressure. I'm like, good, you need more pressure in your life. The positive, intentional, combinatorial types of pressure that develop your character. Because that kind of pressure that's chosen and willed, that you give yourself that sense of urgency, that kind of pressure makes diamonds, baby. Other people, they don't give themselves any pressure. They're a lump of coal their whole life, hoping that some external meteor is going to hit them and give them some pressure to manifest the beauty in themselves. I'm like, no, no, no. You give yourself that pressure. You have to give yourself that pressure, that stuff of personal will, effort, and agency. When you have that, that's the stuff of urgency. And we have that urgency. It's like a different thing. It's a very different thing. And you deserve to have that sense of urgency. You follow? You got to have that sense of urgency. Okay, with this. Now, if we can get that conviction back in, if we got that conviction back in now, we can move to this last big breakthrough and then we'll go into your goals. This last big breakthrough. Your first one is Aligned Action. Your second one is higher agency. Your third one was higher conviction built upon higher expectation in terms of expectancy, of good things, intensity and urgency. But this fourth one, it's all about community. Let me write this down for you. You got to get around weapons again. You got to find people in your circle who are weapons. I mean, they are driven, they are fired up, they are ambitious, and they see something in you. You got to have them, whether that's your coach or a therapist or a friend or your boss at work or A new mentor. You got to have it. You got to find that. I want you to think about a person in your life who shifted you. Could you think about a mentor or a friend or role model? And what was it about them that lit you on fire? What is about them that brought you alive? Could you take that note? Did they challenge you? Did they empower you? Did they teach you? Did they expect something from you? What was that person like? Now, there's a reason I'm asking this for you. There's a reason I'm asking this for you. I know friends who they had that person in their life, and it was like a high school teacher, I had one of those. A high school teacher. I have friends who they had that person that was their first mentor at their first job, I had that, too. I have friends who they had a person who they was their person in their industry, like some they aspired to be, who took them under their wing or gave them acknowledgement. I had that person, too. Some people, it was a coach. I had that too. But the difference is I know many people who only had one or maybe two. Do you have only maybe one or two people who really mentored you or fired you up or coached you in your Life? Is it 1, 2, 3, 4? See, most people only have ever had 1, 2, 3, 4 friends, but they're 50 and 60 years old. So why they never had the breakthrough of realizing you are architecting your community, and your community is propelling you into your greatest potential and your greatest future, or they're letting you sandbag it through life. They're letting you play small. They love you to be comfortable. They don't want to see you exert, try fire up. And what do people do when they have that in their life? They blame and they complain because they forgot the agency. This is your role. I want you to have five people minimum who lift you up, fire you up, demand something from you, expect something from you. If that is your team, if that's your bosses, your mentors, if it's somebody you are paying as a coach or a group of experts or a mastermind, whatever it is for you, I don't actually care where it comes from. I care about getting some volume back in that department for you. Some people haven't had that since high school, or a parent or a grandma or their first boss. I'm like, but you had your first boss 20 years ago. You found no one else in 20 years who fires you up, holds you accountable, believes in you, pushes you, checks in on you And I know I'm saying this, and I am not in any way trying to be a downer in this regard. Recently in a Daily Fire, I was talking about the concept of who checked in on you, who's checking in on you. And a lot of people wrote in and they said that kind of bummed them out when I taught that, because they realized they no one's checking in on them. I said, oh, well, see, things in life like that, that can bum you out, right? Oh, I'm. I'm. I'm bummed out by that. Or you can go, oh, lesson learned. I need to go create that, right? Instead of going, I'm bummed out that no one checks in on me. Oh, that's my job. I need to go forge relationships with people who check in on me. So in one, it's disempowering and discouraging. In the other one, it's pretty matter of fact, oh, I lack that. I guess it's my job to go learn how to do that and get that. That's the shift. That's the agency part, right? Taking high agency. Like, oh, I don't have mentors. I'm gonna get five of them. I'm gonna pay for them. I'm gonna find them. I'm gonna join them. I'm gonna research them. I'm gonna ask for them. I'm gonna ask for that internship, that mentorship, that guidance. I'm gonna join that group. I'm gonna, you know, pay that person whatever it is for you. I want you to increase your volume there. And listen, I know. I know a lot of people say, well, but Brandon, Brandon, Brandon, you know, I don't have that. I don't know people like that. I'm like, good job. Go get them. I didn't either. I came out of town where I grew up, in the towns I grew up, I didn't have people like that. I had to go sort them, find them. When I moved to a new city as a young man, I had to go find those people. I just knew it was important. Does that make sense? I knew it was important, so I went and found them. That's what I need you to do. You got to find them. You got to build them. You got to create that community. Those are your four huge breakthroughs. Number one, aligned ambition. Number two, higher agency. Number three, higher conviction. Number four, community of people who push you, expect something, see something in you. You got to get around them, get on the phone with them, talk through it. I expect a lot of the people in my life. Oh, Brendan, expectations, they exhaust me. If that's the game you're playing, you're in the wrong field, my friend. Expectations, that's a good thing. Some people say, oh, I hate expectations. Expectations make me miserable. No, expectations are called standards and they make you better. And I know not all expectations from all people feel good, but this is you. Your aligned ambitions now to set up people of alignment for you becoming your best. For you becoming more. The people I talk to on a weekly basis, they're making me become more. They see something in me. They expect me to be a role model. Yes, you can say, oh, isn't that tiring? Sometimes? Sure, but so does sucking. Yeah, striving can be tiring. But you know what's tiring? Your 10th season of some dumpy show on television going, oh, I should do something with my life. That's more tiring. I promise you. You got to choose your hard. One level of a hard life is a bored life, a non contributing life, a life of no alignment, not striving, not tapping your potential. That's hard too. And trust me, I've been there. It's hard to be down, discouraged and depressed. It's also hard to have expectations, demand much of yourself and desire to become more and manifest a destiny and a divine energy that's bigger than you. That's also hard. Choose one feels pretty negative and hard one feels positive and hard. I'll take the positive hard thing. Can I get an amen on the first day of January 1st? Okay, now I want to move on to two other sections of our training today. Four life strategies, four breakthroughs. Now let's talk about the four blocks that we kind of hit. Yes, Brenda, I want to become more. Yes, I want this mindset shift. Yes, I understand these things can change my life. Well, we got to bring you back into the fold of life. Back into the fold of life. F O L D is going to be an acronym we're going to use today to bring you back into the fold of life. Here's what I believe gets people back in where we are blocked usually in our lives, I think is in the bringing you back in the fold. F O L D. I'm going to walk through this briefly and then we'll get into your high performance session. Okay. Into the fold of life. F O L D. First and foremost, I just want to share with you. If you hear everything I'm saying to you and it makes sense to you, but you also recognize you have not been getting progress. You have your aligned Ambitions, you feel like you're taking initiative. You feel like you have high conviction. You feel like. And you have a great community. But if still something feels off or you feel unsure, then I'm here to tell you the first block that most people have is honestly a faith block. They have lost their faith. They lost their faith in God or themselves or their marriage or their team or the future. And I think this is a really important topic to bring up because, you know, there's this idea that if. If we had faith and it was full, we'd have higher conviction. The issue is, for most people, they don't realize that faith doesn't mean that you just lack doubt. In fact, in my belief, the definition of faith requires the doubt, right? That's why it's called faith. Doubt is ever there. That's why you have ever faith, right? There's always going to be doubt. And you have to stop stopping when you have doubt, because doubt will forever be there. And if doubt is forever there, that's good, because faith is also there. And so doubt is a signal to learn and have faith. And so for me, everyone's like, well, I just. I don't know, Brendan. I don't know if I believe it. Well, let me come back to that expectancy phrase we learned earlier. If I expect things are going to be bad, I won't take action. But see, most people also expect there's going to be doubt and hardship and. And struggle. And there's an element where you have to have faith that things are beyond you that are lining up, that will come to the chessboard, that will serve you, that will help you. And for me, as many of you know, you know, I've got my background where I just believe in God. My car accident gave me a belief in the divine, and it led me into the study of spirituality around the world and into understanding and reading most of the world's texts on faith, especially the primary spiritual texts. I'm somebody who identifies more as Christian than as anything else. But at the same time, I just believe that there is something beyond me, whether that's a higher consciousness. To me, it's a God and it's a personal relationship. But I believe a lot of people, they just can't see beyond themselves, so they have no faith. And it's hard because if you've been trying in your own life, in your marriage, but the marriage isn't turning out well, now there's doubt there. It's hard to have faith in the marriage and your partner if it's not going well at work. It's hard to have faith in the team. Here's what I tell people. It's almost always hard to have faith unless you just teach yourself to understand. It's easy to have doubt. I know this might sound silly, but once I understand doubt's really easy and doubt implies the existence of faith, then, oh, if I can easily have the doubt, I'll just easily have the faith. Because doubt means I don't know. And the faith means, well, I'll either figure it out or he'll show me the way. But it's going to turn out okay, because no matter what happens, however it turns out, guess what? There'll be doubt. Let me say it again. No matter how it turns out, there will be doubt. You make it to the top of the mountain. Guess what? Once you get to the top of the mountain, you're going to wonder what next. I'm not sure that's doubt. Have faith. The plan will be revealed. Have faith. You'll have the wings of victory behind you. Have faith that there's a bigger plan. Have faith. Why not? Why not have faith that it's going to turn out? Why not have faith? People say, well, be realistic, Brendan. I'm like, well, what does realistic mean? Realistic means seeing how things you can perceive them to be. But we've learned, if anything, in all the science of the study of the universe and all of physics so far, we know very little. Most of the universe is comprised of matter that we can't even see or measure. And so it's like, oh, wait, there's an energy out there and forces out there that are beyond the little things that we can see. And I'm here to suggest to you a very simple idea. If we can get you back into faithful effort and faithful living, it's almost like everything I've talked about so far gets easier. It's like, I have friends. They hadn't gone to church in forever. They go to church no matter what church it is. And I go, just go like six times in a row. Just go. Even if you don't believe in that particular religion, just go to be around people who, who have belief in anything. Because most of us aren't surrounded by people who have belief in much. But if you get around people who are believing in anything, it's not going to corrupt you. It's not going to freak you out, because, listen, your brain will form whatever ideas you need to have. But what's important is get around people of faith again. And I'm not Here to be that person who's pushing any type of religion. In fact, I think that the most important thing that you develop in your life is a spirituality. Even it's free from the dogma of a religion. But to my belief and my understanding of people around the world, every time I see somebody kind of come back into the fold of life, it was because they had faith again in their next Monday. They had faith again in their spouse, they had faith again in their team. They had faith again in themselves. They had faith in getting something higher. Whether you apply the faith to a spirituality or just a faith to what you're going to do on Monday, I don't care. But I knew no. When you increase faith, you increase forward momentum. When you increase faith, you increase forward momentum. What did you want this year in 2025? You wanted momentum. How are we gonna get that momentum? You gotta believe again, babe. When you believe again, when there is faith there that things are gonna turn out, you're more willing, the expectancy is there, the conviction comes back, you get on a roll. You gotta encourage faith in your life in whatever way that's appropriate and true and honest for you in your heart. The second part of this acronym fold, F, O L, D, the O is for an optimistic conversation. Optimistic conversation. For those who've never had a life coach get one this year. For those who don't hang out with positive friends, get them this year. But most importantly, I'm not saying optimism. I think a lot of people have optimism, but they have no optimistic conversation. They're not in a conversation that's optimistic. And because they're not in a conversation that's actually optimistic, the unfortunate reality is the pessimism takes them over. See, we're human beings, and one of the things about us is communication. And communication is so central and, and so important to us. And if we aren't communicating, it's almost like we don't believe. You know, so many people don't have conversations of faith and optimism. All they do is see the negative news and here's how we're going to shift this for you. And I think this will be life changing for you. You are having optimistic conversations. If you are having conversations about things happening more than a year out, that's how I know you're having optimistic conversations. Most people are having task conversations, not optimistic conversations. A task is, what do we have to do? Okay, this is what's going on. But there's no optimism. A vision for the future. You're not talking about the future. So no Wonder you're not inspired? No. Wonder there's no faith, no wonder there's no conviction. No wonder there was inspiration. You're not talking about the future. You're just talking about tasks. Oh, my God, Brendan. See, when people get detached from a compelling future, they lose their conviction, they lose their agency, they lose their ambitions because they're stuck in the mundane. Listen, we all got to do the mundane. No one's complaining about the mundane. But if we can't see, and most importantly, talk about, about a different future, man, I'm telling you, it is just a different level of life experience. I'm telling you it's different. It's so different. I need you to step back into a future conversation. Okay, so the blocks I said we got to bring you back in the fold. The first one's faith. The second one, to bring you back into the fold of high performance and change in your life and progress in your life. We got to bring you in those optimistic conversations about the future. Not just what you have to do this week, not just next month, but about a compelling future for you and your family. The third thing, F O L D L is about love. Again. We've got to increase your frequency of love and generosity of your spirit. We have to increase the love with your kids, with your family, with your spouse. We've got to increase the sense of heart in life. It's been very surprising to me over this last decade to learn so much about my clients lives. And one of the things that has surprised me as something that switched them back on was to teach them about the extraordinary power of having affection in their life again. They have friends, but they don't love their friends. They have work, but they don't love it. They have a spouse, but they don't love them. There's no active affection there that is really imbued with spirit or pulse. And I think you will wow yourself if just as an intention. Just like I asked you to bring presence back into your relationship. If you can teach yourself to bring in love into the conversation, true active love into your relationships and into your work. Again, Not I have to do it. I love that I get to do this. Not, you know, okay, spouse, what are you gonna do? It's like your date nights. You should pour on the love on your date nights like you did on your first D See, you didn't get tired of your life. You stopped pouring love onto it because maybe you didn't get the affection where you wanted it. You closed off affection. You got hurt one time you built up the wall and now you barely barely eke out any affection. This is very common for people. And what I've learned is if you can give yourself grace and other people grace around you, but you can honestly think about love. It's that old truth in most spiritual teaching that you have those two paths and those two moments and those two decisions. One is of love and another one is hesitation or fear. And love is high agency, love is high character, love is high conviction, love is high community. Love is a spiritual energy and a force that exists beyond you. If you want to be like blown away by that type of philosophy, read the chapter on love in the motivation manifesto. I get feedback every single year this time of year, like, wow, I didn't expect that chapter. Because when you understand love is happening all the time, everywhere and it's beyond you, you decide whether you're going to tap in and contribute or you're going to rebel and go into your teenage room with the door shut. And that decision of bringing more affection back into your day, that's how you start to feel the day again. I work with an extraordinary guy recently, you know, covers of magazines achieve more money than you know, anyone could possibly fathom. Has literally created like game changing things in this world. And I was talking to him and he was so in his head there was no emotion. And we had a conversation about it. And for him, he's very highly intellectual, you know, loves stoic philosophy. But stoicism wasn't in any way a lack of heart. If you read stoicism, it's actually, there's a lot of heart and there's a lot of courage and there's a lot of self discipline by the will of emotion. It means don't let emotions be your master, but still summon them to feel life. It's hard for people to understand this distinction. And as I started talking to this person, I just said a very simple thing. I said, next Monday, when we talk on Monday, what I need you to do is I want you to come to the conversation with five emotions that you put into this last week. Not that you felt that you put into. You got a family, you got a team. What emotions did you imbue towards others? Because see, sometimes when you're in your head, you expect it to happen to you just like people expect. I hope I feel joy. And I'm like, no, no, no, don't hope you feel joy. Bring the joy. Don't hope you feel love. Put love out there if you wish to receive, generate and give and So I started this practice with this person. Literally we did this. I think we're on maybe week five or six of our coaching and you would not believe the shift in his face. I do this particular call with this particular client on his phone. We do FaceTime. And I mean literally in week three and four, I started. His face changed. He looked 20 years younger. He got out of his head and he got in the energy and emotion of life again through love. Because when you teach somebody and ask somebody to start generating the energy and the emotions they wish to experience in life as a gift towards others, the funniest thing is on that list of emotions they're going to generate, love always shows up, always does. Seen it every single time. It might take a couple weeks, but then they get addicted to it. Because they realize generating emotion, energy and love with others is the stuff of being a role model. That is your character, that is your contribution, that is your high competency in life. That is how you build community. That is how you generate more convection. You giving the gift of emotion to others is what creates that incredible renewal in your life, that incredible leadership in your life. I'm telling you, when you think about love not as having it or intellectually anymore, but actually generating it on a weekly basis, that's all I'm going to ask you to do. If you want 2025 to be extraordinary, I just want you to willfully generate the emotion of love towards at least one person every single week. And I mean another level of presence and love that you're going to imbue, impart, give, generate towards another. Now you might say, well, some people will reject that, Brendan. I'm like, so what? Keep doing it. See what happens is someone rejects us and we shut down love and affection and now we are unfeeling vessels and we just don't feel anymore because we shut down. Well, the divine energy gets stuck when you shut down. You have to keep generating love even if everybody around you is not a love bug like you. Now for some of you, that's too affectionate and sounds woo woo, or sounds like, I don't quite get it. Except this guy who I'm telling you I did this with, he doesn't have an active faith in life. He's not a high spirituality guy. I wouldn't say he's a woo woo guy or even really that much of a self improvement guy. Not really that even into philosophy, outside of intellectual philosophy. And his life has completely changed from this one activity. He was like, Brennan, I need to work with you forever. Because I need you to keep me accountable for this one thing. And out of all the things I did with him as a high performance coach, that was the thing. Teaching him what you and I would just call affectionate living again. You got to give yourself that gift by giving it to others again. You got to increase your affection this year. If you're going to feel the day, feel contribution, feel spirit, unblock yourself. You got to open up that again. Stop protecting yourself so much, realizing that the real openness and expansiveness of life is going to happen through your emotions and affection with other people. And that's what you're going to remember at the end of life. You won't regret lots of achievements in your life. You regret how you lived your life. You regret that you lived shut down more than you'll regret you didn't achieve a certain thing in a bank account. Trust me, I've been with enough people at the end of their lives who reflected on this. You got to open up to affection. Love the last piece here. I said I got to bring you back into the fold. Faith, optimistic conversations, love. And the D is determined will. This is the stuff. Determined will means personal will and effort daily. Discipline to do the thing even if it is hard. Determined will. I'm going to will myself to do the thing even if it is hard. Now, I know people will say, well, Brandon, you know, discipline, that's just, you know, it's too hard. You got to set up the environment for that. And I'm like, no, that's. That's really handing over your personal power. Your job this year is to develop more self mastery and self discipline and to be excited about that journey that brings you back in the fold. I can't wait to see how disciplined I can be this year. I can't wait to see how I can master myself and my challenges. I can't wait to see myself bounce back from hardship. I can't wait to see myself deal with challenges with a good attitude. Because I know challenges are coming. I know hardship is coming. I am determined to show up as my best self as I teach all our Ultra members. It's about learning to summon the best of who you are with that determined will on a consistent basis. Summoning the greatest part of yourself. Not because life demands it of you, because you're excited about the growth journey you want to bring back into the fold of life. You got to be excited about the growth journey again. You got to be excited about the challenges. You got to have that high expectation so that I'm excited to see how far I can take this. I'm excited to see I can run 1 mile, 3 mile, 5 mile. I'm excited to go ultra. I'm excited to see myself improve. I'm excited to show up on Mondays and do the work with Brendan in the accelerator. Okay, last piece of our training. Now we've got you back in the fold. You know, you've got to do some very simple things today. We've talked about your four life stages. We talked about four breakthroughs. We've talked about four blocks. Now, five S's to set high performance goals and to actually achieve the things that are important. Okay? How do you set great goals? High performance goals, audacious goals, Goals that you'll actually do. The five S's number one S. The first thing is seen. S C E N E. Never have a goal or an idea or a dream without a visual scene of victory. A scene of victory. I want you to have a compelling movie, a vision, a scene that you see, like a movie of victory, of that goal. Okay, Brendan, I. I want a dream house. Okay. What does the. Close your eyes. What does the house look like? And show me the scene of you showing up to the house with your family, with your spouse or with your loved one. And you're showing up there, and the realtor's there, and they hand you the keys and you walk through the door. Describe what you're feeling. Describe what everyone else is feeling. Describe why that's a new day. Describe how you want to make that home. Describe. Describe that next stage of your life. See it. It's a movie. It's a vision. It's a scene. Most people never achieve a goal because they've never seen the goal. Once you see it, your body and your brain imagine it. And as a director puts you in the movie, you need to be back in the movie again. You're so far detached. You're intellectual. I need a scene. I need the movie. I need the vision. And some people go, rand, I just don't visualize like that. I'm like, no, no, no, you. You haven't taught yourself to visualize like that. Don't ever tell me I'm not like that. Well, Brenda, I'm not confident. No, you haven't taught yourself to be confident. Well, Brenda, I'm not a speaker. No, you haven't taught yourself to be a speaker. These are skills. Visualization is a skill. You need to teach yourself that. I didn't learn French. I taught myself French. These are things you teach Yourself. Don't say, I don't have it. You didn't teach yourself it. Be responsible. So many people. I just don't visualize. I'm like, no, no, you haven't taught yourself to visualize. Just, I don't meditate. You haven't taught yourself to meditate. I. This is the year you teach yourself to do the things that will improve your life. And the first and foremost is if you're going to have a goal, I need you to have seen. I need to spend time. I need you to lay awake in bed and see the thing. I work with athletes all the time seeing, crossing the finish line, seeing, dealing with the struggle on the way to the finish line, seeing what they say and do in those difficult situations, visualizing and seeing it over and over and over again. Whatever the accomplishment, whatever the achievement, whatever the dream, I. I need you to see it and sense it and watch that movie over and over and over again. When I decided I want to become a public speaker, I started instantly visualizing myself standing on stages in front of tens of thousands of people. Now, I had never even spoken in front of 10, but I'd see myself doing it, and it would make me sweat. I'd lay in bed visualizing it myself moving across the stage, and I would literally just sweat with nervous. It would cause me anxiety. Thank God. Thank God I caused myself a little discomfort. Thank God I visualized myself beyond what I was capable of. Thank God I tapped into a higher vision that he already saw and called me to. Thank God I approached that scariness and that shock as a willingness to learn. You got to have willingness to grow into your scene. It's okay that it makes you uncomfortable to see it. It's okay you can't see the perfect vision, and it's total, complete. I just need you to do the practice of that visualizing of the scene. Don't set the goal. See the scene. We'll talk about goals next. See the scene. See the scene. A scene of victory. A scene of victory. A scene of victory. Second of these five S's. Now we need strategy. Strategy. Okay, what are you going to do to manifest that victorious scene? What's the strategy? What do you need to do? And if you're like, I don't know what to do, okay, your job is to get the strategy. You've got to learn from somebody the how to get there. Take the course, learn from the mentor, watch the YouTube, listen to the podcast, read the book, whatever it is you need to get the strategy. Like, how did they do it. You know, when I started coming in the industry and my book started hitting number one across all the charts, everyone's like, how did you do it? And I taught them my strategy. Well, my strategy was online marketing. And once they learned, oh, online you can sell books like that volume, it changed the entire industry. Cause back then everyone was going on book tours and I was like, stop going on book tours. It's totally not worth it. Instead, sell like crazy online. Here's how. A whole new strategy. See, when you come in with a new strategy, you get better results. See, I was that kid. I went on a book tour and I'd show up in this town and there'd be five people. I'd show up in this town, there'd be 50 people. I'd show up, there'd be 10 people. But it took so much time and energy, I'd be wiped out. And I only sold a couple thousand books. Versus in one weekend I could sell 10,000 books using online marketing strategies. Got it. See, my most people, the reason they're not achieving more is they've got the wrong strategy. And so when you get the better strategy now you're gonna manifest the higher performance results. It goes from a resolution to real results. When you have the right strategy, your job is to get the strategies of life that will help you succeed again. I'll be giving those. What are the tactical steps and milestones that will get you to the scene. So you've got the approach, that's your strategy. Okay, great. I've got the general. Okay, I got online marketing. Great. What are the steps? Okay, now it's from just do online marketing as a strategy. Now the steps. Build webpage, collect emails, send newsletter, send value videos, send sales video, send deadline. Those are the steps to accomplish thing. Just like if you want to get healthy this year, you can say oh the strategy. Eat better, work out more and get my mind right. Great. Those are strategies. Now the steps eat this on this schedule. Do these types of workouts on this type of schedule. Does this make sense? So now the steps is like I need to know what to do. Like show me step by step by step. And you got to just find that there is nothing you want to do that you can't find the strategies and steps anymore. Most of it you can just go, you know, type into some AI somewhere and it will give you those lessons or watch a video or better yet, read a book. Okay, the next S of the five S's is schedule. You got to give yourself hard deadlines. More important than anything else is a deadline. All of your goals are only wishes. Without a deadline, that's it. The most important thing you can give yourself regarding your goals in your life is urgency. And there is no such thing as urgency without a deadline. You've got to up the pressure on yourself with deadlines for your goals. Otherwise they're ideas. There's nothing that has a more hard edge than a deadline. And for many of you, you've had dreams forever with no deadlines you've had. I'm.
