Foreign this is Brendon Richard. Welcome to the Brendon show and get yourself ready for Weekly Fire. If you're new to the show, these Weekly Fire sessions are the audios from my Instagram and Facebook Live sessions throughout the week. I know not everyone sees all of them, but I like to go live pretty consistently and talk about funny human behavior and all the goofy things we do as humans to mess up our lives or at least keep it interesting and what you can do about it to improve. I like to talk about what my wife Denise and I are doing or learning as we build our new brand together called HPX Life. HPX stands for the High Performance experience, which I hope you're experiencing as you fill out your high performance planner every single day. Hope you're using that. That's why you'll often hear us reference these shows as hpx. And, you know, boy, are we learning a lot about high performance as Denise and I are trying to be our best every day. For you guys, it's not always easy and you'll hear us sharing a lot about our journey along the way. We also do some Q and A or address the hecklers and the haters. It's super fun and obvious. These are the audios. So if you ever want to catch all the fun, make sure you're following me on Instagram, Brendon Burchard, or on Facebook, enonburshard fan. That's where I go live or Denise and I go live. Now, the best of these weekly Fire episodes are clearly when Denise has joined me on my live broadcast. As you know, she's like the smart one, you know, the thoughtful one, the person who makes me goofy and makes me want to be a better man. She's the real deal. And, you know, she just inspires me so much. She's not in all these Weekly Fire sessions, but I know you'll enjoy it when she is. So again, we broadcast these live, so it's usually a visual medium. But I decided to share the audios with you because I just wanted you to hear us or hear me talk about what we're up to, what we're learning along the way in real time. So again, keep up with us on Instagram and Facebook, but without further rambling, here's your dose of Weekly Fire party people. Hey, guys, what's up? It's Brendan tuning in live from the road today. Very, very, very deeply grateful for all of you for the unbelievable support right now. What's up, y'? All? Hi, guys. I see you on Instagram. I see you on Facebook, really pumped about chatting with you guys. And so I'm taking some questions today. And if you're new to the show, this is hpx. That stands for the High Performance Experience. It's me, my wife Denise, trying to guide you all through living your absolute best life. Giving some new insights, some new tools, some fun, some motivation, because I know you're all out there trying to chase your dreams, trying to be your best selves, trying to be more positive and vibrant in your life while you're also trying to connect with other people, while you're trying to be more excellence driven. I'm in a hotel. I think you can probably tell that. And holy mackerel, what a day. You guys are just so unbelievable. Denise is not here. I apologize. I know she's way more fun for you guys to watch and she's way more entertaining and smart and beautiful and gorgeous and I love you, honey, if you're watching me, I miss you. Denise is right now not with me as I'm on the road. I spoke today to, I think 4,000 people in Nashville, Tennessee, at one of my friend's events, Russell Brunson's event called Funnel Hacking Live, which was super fun, amazing, incredible. I'm trying something new in the hotel room and that is I'm using an iPad and an iPhone because usually it's me and my wife's phones together, but now I'm traveling, so we don't get to do that. But I thought I'd show you guys something, so stay with me. Tune in. And that is, you know, everybody has seen my brand over the last 10 years, but they haven't always seen the behind the scenes. They see the pretty stuff, they see the fancy YouTube videos, they see the courses. But I just recorded an episode with my wife and we're kind of virtual. So we have a new podcast episode on hpx dropping on, I think it's tomorrow. It's Denise's daily, weekly and monthly routines. So when you guys ask about my day routines, but I've never gotten to share, here's what my wife's routines are. So we share what hers are, what mine are. So make sure you subscribe to HPX podcast. But we just recorded it on our laptops and I thought I'd show you what a mess this is. So I'll start with you guys on Instagram here. If I can show you guys this. So this is what it looked like today. Sorry. Stay tuned, Facebook. So look, so there's the microphone I'm using there's the iPad I was using. Facebook. I'm showing Instagram, Instagram, Facebook. Say hi guys, you're all friends. And then I was recording it on a GH5. Please notice the fancy setup I have here. This is called an ironing board. The iPad is on an ironing board in a hotel over there. I set up the, the. I'll show you guys this in a second. I set up the. That's the. The backlight that I have. I travel with. Here's my high performance planner that helps me plan for the day. There's a pot of hot green tea. There's a bunch of notes and a super messy room. What's up? I am that guy who makes a mess in the hotel really bad. I know, I know you're coming. Facebook, I'm showing you. Here you go. Facebook, Instagram, Facebook, Instagram. See Instagram. See how I'm doing that? Cool, huh? So this is what I was showing them, y'. All. That's the thing that's like, it just, it's, it's a mess. It's. There's no other way to say that. It's just. Whoop that. I don't know what I'm doing here. I'm so sorry. Anyway, it's a little bit of a mess, but I'm also showing that because listen, you know, we are the number one business podcast in America right now. It's called HPX Podcast. It stands for the high performance experience. If you guys have not yet subscribed to HPX Podcast, it's number one business for what, a couple days now on Apple Podcasts. It's a phenomenon. And I'm saying that with deep gratitude for each of you for supporting our podcast and show. I am also sharing that and showing you this hot mess of a situation. I have here to say, you know, you can't pursue your dream in simplicity and it doesn't have to be perfect. And I mean, everyone would think the number one business podcast in America, you must be in a radio studio or a fancy booth somewhere or fancy microphones. But you can see like I got this. Oops. Let's see. I got this thing. No, I got it taped over here. It's plugged into over there. I'm using GarageBand on my Mac. My Mac. I got this rode podcaster microphone. I got this like in 2011, that's how old this is, is an eight year old microphone. It's like been beat up and torn up and so I gotta tape the thing that's number one podcast in America in business, the hardest category to compete in. Hands down, we're the number 15 podcast of all podcasts. That's because of you all supporting it. And I honestly think the, the just being real with you guys about this journey that Denise and I have had moving down to Puerto Rico, this resurgence and challenge I've had in the last couple, you know, months with my brain injury kind of turn its ugly head again, which has kind of made me more moody and taken away some of my, like, focus and ability to ride as well as I used to be. Like, it's been. It's been a frigging hard two months. Moving to Puerto Rico, starting to learn a new language, starting to hire a team, trying to find an office, bringing my wife into my brand and business. I've been doing this, well, pretty much my whole life, since I was 19 years old. I've been researching personal and professional development and positive psychology and neuroscience and sharing it to you all. I've been doing it as a business since 2006. So full time, what is that? 2006? That's 13 years I've been doing this. But you've only been hearing from me. You have not been hearing from my wife because my wife was running her exercise studios. So now we're on the journey together because she sold the exercise studios and we're on the journey together to build this new brand called hpx, the high performance experience. And our kind of flagship launch of that is our podcast together called hpx. So I'm hoping you'll listen to it and subscribe tomorrow. Again, Denise's episode of what's her Daily Routine? What's her Weekly Routine? I shared that mine. Many of you guys know my Rick. Hi. What's up? He says you were a baby. We were baby. I'm still a baby. I feel like, you know, I don't know how you guys feel, but when you have deep reverence for life, like significant gratitude for life, I think it keeps you young. I think he keeps you connected to spirit, connected to source, to God, to be thankful for the opportunity you have to breathe each day, to show up each day, to serve each day, to give each day. And I'm always just, you know, for 13 years, I've just asked, how can I give some new insight, some new tools, something to you all, you know, as I fall forward and I try to do it well and I try to make it happen. Honestly, the last 13 years, I didn't share much behind the scenes. And when I did try, people didn't seem that interested. But I think the culture changed and I think people definitely interested in Denise's perspective because so many people have seen my success with the books or the courses or, or everything we've done, but they've never seen how does she contribute, what does she do? I mean, I hope most of you guys own this thing, the high performance planner. And so Denise and I, in tomorrow's episode, we talk about how I use this, but she hasn't used this until recently. But I've been using this for almost six years in some form or another. It just came out to you guys in public. And for the record, this is now available on Amazon in the annual pack. So for those who are dorks like me and you love to buy your planners for the whole year, you can get the annual plaque on Amazon, which is pretty awesome. Let's see. I know I'm gonna take some questions today. I know it's a little bit not the best lighting, but that's the reality when you're on the road. But did you see that little light I have over there? That little light is super handy. It's only about this big. It can plug in or go with the battery and it is like the sun. It's only this big. It's called a savage S, a V, a G. Like, you know, be savage. It's a savage light and I can travel with it in this little pit here. Hold on, guys. Let me get this packed for you guys so you can see it. So I basically travel with that. Hold on, I'm shoving. This is my. I never get to give you my hotel travel gear, but I'm going to give it to you guys here because we're live and I'm basically like, after you guys support with HPX podcast, I'm going to give you and tell you anything you want to know for life. Everyone thinks that I strategically made this podcast number one. And the truth is I didn't really think about the major campaign for it until next week or so. So it's definitely you guys being interested and supportive. So please ask your questions. I'm going to do what I can. Serena on Facebook got the annual pack. Thank you. That's super awesome. I really do travel with this. I have to have my planner. I shared my morning routine. I get up 20 minutes of movement, workout, walk or Vinyasa flow. 20 minutes of reading great, inspiring material, and then 20 minutes of planning the day, looking at the agenda, visualizing it, asking how I can deliver with excellence, making sure I'm prioritizing Stephanie, thank you. I'm feeling wonderful. I'm super. I mean, I spoke to 4,000 people today, so I'm pumped. And the funny thing is, I don't know if it's funny, but I spoke in a suit today because I forgot my pants. That's. I. I forgot my pants. I. I packed everything. Everything. I forgot my jeans, so I couldn't. I was going to wear jeans and Jack on stage today. I literally forgot it. So. But I always do this thing, and you guys should do this. I travel with two bags, and in one bag, it's like my emergency bag. It's a carry on or second check bag. And that will always have one suit in it and like one night's kind of stuff. My other bag will have everything else in it. And that way, like last night, if I don't have everything with me, that one bag, it had that suit in it. And so that's what I wore to 4,000 people today. And, you know, I hadn't planned on wearing a suit, so I was jumping and clapping there and sweating like you cannot believe. Omg. So anyway, it's pretty funny. Hi, guys. I appreciate you, man. If I could reach out and give each of you a hug, that is what I feel like today. To have you support HPEX Podcast in the way you did, it just means a lot because I've been blessed. I've had a number one podcast three different times, and I mean number one across all iTunes, all categories, three different times I've charted, but I've never done it and had my wife be part of that process. And so last night before I flew here, maybe because I guess it was three nights ago, I can't remember, but when we hit number one, I grabbed my wife, I pulled her over, showed her the screenshot, we took a screenshot and I kissed her and I just said, honey, take this in. The number of people who ever get to reach number one in anything is so rare. And I want you to know I absolutely get it. Is each of you taking screenshots of HPX podcast, sharing it with your friends? It's saying, hey, I listened to this. I'm inspired. Or if you know any spouses who are working together or building a business together, follow along on our journey. That's what HX Podcast is. I bring you the best of the best. I bring you Tony Robbins or Trent Shelton or Rachel Hollis. But then you hear Denise and I talking about, how do we build this brand? How do we survive as a couple? What sucks about working together? What's not, you know, it's just to see that hit number one and, you know, get to have my wife enjoy that process. I will never be able to repay you guys. So thank you. Appreciate that. And before the tears start to flow, you big dork, I thought I would show you. I'm always very emotional on speaking days. I don't know what it is. I think I take the energy of the people in the room and really feel their hearts, and then I'm emotional the rest of the day like a big baby. But I love you guys. So here's what I travel with. I'm pulling it together for you guys. Here. Here's what I travel with. I got this little case almost fell up. It's just this little case. Jeez, this looks like a mess. Okay, hold on. I got this little case right here. Okay, in this case goes my podcast microphone. Okay, that goes in here. Then that light I showed you that little savage light spelled like this. This is not a sponsored post, guys. It looks like that. That's how it's spelled, Savage. They make that little portable light that I carry. I like it because it's daylight. I mean, it's bright as anything. So it can light up a dark hotel. So travel light podcast. Also in this little thing. Look at all these dongles. Thanks, Apple, for making everyone in the world bring a bajillion stupid dongles with them everywhere they go. That's in there. And also, you know, one of these things that has the different things on it that's in there. Law. I must travel with my high performance planner everywhere I go, all the time. Otherwise, I am a hot mess. Guys. Some of you can just know what you're supposed to do each day, and you're awesome. I need to write it down and plan strategically to manage, you know, four different brands that I've invested in or I run, which now have passed 200 employees. I've spoke to 4,000 people. Today, we have the number one podcast. I have 20 online courses, 2 million subscribers, you know, 7 million fans, a wife, a family, you know, tried to maintain my health, operating with this brain injury. I need a planner, and that's why I travel that. So planner podcast, travel light. I got an iPad I travel with now and a phone. I really like the new iPad, by the way. This is not a sponsored post. I will. Just so you guys know, I never do a sponsored post. I have never done a sponsored post. I'm the only influencer in the world who achieved this many fans and followers without ever a single Sponsored or partnered post ever. Ever. I think that's the reason we got to Facebook 5 million on Facebook so fast. Back in the day when it mattered that people cared about who created the material. I posted every single one of those quotes and those graphic images for seven years. I made all my quotes and videos on Amazon. And everyone back then, people cared. Now no one cares. All these people have big teams who post memes all day instead of original content anyway. That was mean. Oh, he went there. I love you guys. Here's what else I am traveling with right now. This goofy setup, which really does work pretty good. Shout out to Casey Neistat for, you know, probably pioneering this whole thing. But this, I like this because I can hold it like that. So this is a joby little stand. This thing is called a gorilla pad or gorillapod from Joby J O B Y Joby. So you can selfie that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, like that. And this is a new one for me. And I'm not promoting this yet, guys, because I don't know how the hell to use it. It's too hard for me. I'm trying to learn, so I'm gonna learn. But this is the Panasonic GH5 and I'm liking it. I like the depth of field. Not great for autofocus, not great for low lighting like this. I gotta say that Panasonic, you kind of suck for low lighting. One reason I do like it, I like the depth of field of the lens. I like that they put the microphone on front so I don't have to have one of those big microphones that look like this. So I like that you can just talk to it. You don't need an extra mic unless you're outside. It's probably better with the mic, but I don't have it. What else do I like about it? It's fairly light. People are shooting movies with this crap. So I think that's pretty amazing. I'm not calling it crap, but here's the number one reason I like this thing again. This is the Panasonic GH5. This thing, boom. The pop out side angle shot. I mean, the Canon used to have that, but, you know, it's got older and heavier. So this is the GH5. I like that. So I travel with this now, like tomorrow. This is a lifesaver because tomorrow I need to do a YouTube episode. And, you know, I could do it from my phone. Doesn't look that good. Yeah. No. Who said that? Yeah. Shady996. I've never had an ad sponsor ever, not once ever. I have promoted my things on my podcast about my brand or my business, but I've never, you know, go buy a mattress or here's the underwear I wear or you know, I understand other podcasters and shows and social media, that's how they built their businesses and what they need to do. I just don't like having a lot of ads in my ears or on my social media personally. That's my values. It's not everybody's, so I'm not judging everybody else's. It's what I like. So that's how I do it. So that's about it. Oh, and my laptop which is right below here, guys. So my travel pack is iPad, iPhone, Mac. I'm an Apple guy. Sorry guys. This new GH5, this gorillapad, this rode podcaster and literally, believe that or not, in my high performance planner and all of that fits in this little case that just came with the little light that throws. I put all, just literally I just throw it into my bag. That's it. And I know the purists out there are gonna be like, Brendan, you don't put a GH5 in your checked bag. Someone will steal it. Because this is like, you know, maybe a $2,000 get up I think, I don't know. I've never had anything stolen out of luggage before. Maybe, maybe it can happen. I've lost lots of luggage and it would suck to lose this. But it doesn't happen that often. I mean, maybe once every couple years and you know, I don't know, maybe I'm an idiot. Could be, could be. Very true. Tomorrow on HPX podcast you will hear Denise talk about her daily, weekly and monthly routine. I just did the interview with her and one thing I really liked about it was just hearing her think through how she does her day and also knowing that both her and I struggle so much to keep to our daily routine, our monthly routine. You know, just like you guys, we have our. Don't we all have like the perfect daily and weekly routine we'd all love to have, but the reality is it's just not always going to happen. So I asked this question, I said it's not about do you keep the perfect routine every single day? It's A, is your routine serving you at this stage of your life to be your best and B, routine or not routine, are you managing and handling the day's stressors and priorities well? That's the key question. I'm way less interested if I interview somebody. I'M like, what's your morning routine? I'm like, I know a lot of newbie podcasters like to do that. No offense to it. It's fascinating, it's interesting, but the research does not proficiently show, and not in a way that is replicable across personality, trait or preferences, an effective routine. It's different for everybody. And most people don't really have a routine. They say what their preferences are, not their routine. Two very different things scientifically. So as a researcher, I'm. No, I don't know. So the main thing to know to gauge effectiveness and happiness, which is what we're actually trying to measure, usually comes down to do you manage the day's stresses and priorities well, no matter what the heck, your obligations or your preferences or how you coordinate yourself, I think that's really what matters. So think about it. It's really deep of a question, right? Do you manage the day's chaos and stresses well? That means you anticipated them, you react well. You stay grounded, you stay centered. When you get interrupted, you get back on your aame. Can you get back on your A game? Is way. Listen, can you get on your A game Is way more of an important question than what did you do in the first couple hours? I personally believe that doing the first couple hours well primes you to be able to be better at getting grounded or back on your A game. But you can do those even if your morning's chaos. This morning of mine was total chaos. I found out I don't have genes for the presentation I have for 4,000 people. I decided to change my keynote at the last minute. Breakfast took like an hour longer than it should have to get to the room because they're busy here. I had, you know, 400 texts this morning. 400 texts to me personally, people who have my phone who knew I was here or knew I was doing something. I mean, it was bananas. So, you know, just do the best you can. So I didn't get to my morning routine as much as I like to, but that's okay. So let's see. Yes, I see you, Jackie. Thank you, Eric's. Thank you, Clean rights. Thank you, Juan. Thank you, Sarah Smasher. Hey, Gree. What's up? I see you. Thank you for being here with us on hpx. This is what we call HPX Live. It's when we go on socials. But our podcast is called HPX Podcast. It's number one in business right now because you guys kick serious butt and I appreciate that. Wendy over on Facebook has the HP Planner. I'm super pumped for those who have asked if we have a new version of the Planner coming out. We do. It doesn't hit until I think, actually the new one on Amazon has a little more space for your priorities and your day's agenda, so we increase that space. The one coming out late summer, early fall will have a new weekly view and additional monthly section which you guys have been asking for. So believe me or not, I listen very closely to what you say on these things. Tammy says my plan A is sometimes my plan B or C. Lol, you know, that's life. I think we all have this perfect, you know, this perfect dream. Aspirational. And I know many people think of me well, Brennan must have the perfect morning routine. There's a lot of mornings that are a hot mess. It's less, does the morning go perfectly the way I planned it than do the things that need to happen throughout the day happen. Do I work out? Do I eat well? Do I meditate? Do I make my priorities clear? Do I communicate sufficiently and explicitly with what I need, want, and desire of life? Do I treat people with kindness? Do I say thank you? Do I stick to who I want to be as a person by managing my three words and living intentionally? These things are way more important than any given routine. But those things obviously are habits, too. So if you want to know those habits that make the most difference scientifically in your life, you would read high performance habits. I want to show you this goofy thing. My wife was making fun of me of this. Okay, so this is on the podcast we have coming out tomorrow on hpx, so make sure you go, subscribe and download all the episodes. I was interviewing her today and I was like, I could see her when I interviewed her. So I talked about, you know, these things, and I was like, oh, I have these things. What are these called, honey? Postcards, Index cards. And she goes, a mess. So good, because what happens is every morning I do my high performance planner, but then next to my computer, usually on an index card, I write down the three major things and I keep them right next to my computer the whole day, or I write out throughout the day key things that must happen the next day that I either put in my planner or if I don't have my planner handy, I'm going to record at the end of the day or measure myself on or whatever. So. And these tend to accumulate around the house until I get them, you know, put into my notes on my iPad or into my planner. That's kind of how it goes, what's going on tomorrow? Tomorrow I am speaking again at Funnel Hacking live and to 4,000 people. And then I hop a plane and I go to Traffic and Conversion, another marketing seminar in San Diego, which apparently has 7,000 people, which is bananas. And I'm speaking there again, too. And, you know, it was so cool, man, guys, to stand on the stage tonight and to go out and say, we're the number one business podcast in America. What? The timing was really serendipitous, and I'm grateful for you, and I'm. I'm just pumped. I was like, man, it's making exciting. But also, I'm really excited about Denise. We had a great time recording. How did we record? So what I did is to record her. So she's home, and I'm on the road. And so I've got this podcast, this road podcast Microphone. It plugs into my laptop. Okay. And then she. At home, she also has one. It's not the same one, but same thing. Plugs into her laptop. And then we use Zoom, and we open up Zoom, and we basically have a call, and I can see her, and she can see her. And we set the settings in Zoom for the microphone to not be the computer microphone, but the output microphone, and so we can see each other and we can talk to each other. And Zoom is recording us. But it sounds better than if we did it on our laptop because Zoom is recording us through a professional mic. But literally all we have is this plugged into our laptop using Zoom. Now, this is not a sponsored thing. That's just what we use. You could use eCamm live, you could use Skype, you could use lots of other things. We just use Zoom because I have an account, so that's what I use. But pretty cool, right? I don't know if you guys know you could do that. You could, like, you could do Zoom, and you'd be talking to each other, and you see each other, but the recording, the audio is from the laptop, and it's so. Eh. You know, but if you plug your microphone in and you just change the settings on Zoom, which is down. Just go down by the microphone. On Zoom, you click it and say, select microphone, and it will say your computer speakers or your output, your microphone, and you collect, you click, you click the microphone, and holy crap, y', all, you're doing like, a real deal. Professional podcast. It's great. And I like it, too, because Zoom automatically converts it into audio. I send it to our audio guy. He puts on the bumper, the sound yeah, you know, the big buildup and then that's it. So. Yeah, that's pretty neat, huh? All right, well, that's it for tonight. I need to get showered, I need to eat a lot of food, and I love you all. Hi, Gris. I do see you. I'm sorry, guys. I know that sometimes I'm cutting out here because my phone's about to die. And this is just. I hope you listen tomorrow's episode because at the end you're going to cry your face off. Because I got to. When I was zooming with my wife, I got to thank her and I got to congratulate her. You know, so few people know. Look at my last. Would you guys look at my last post on Instagram and read the caption? Because I talked about why she's so friggin amazing. I mean, just, she's incredible. So I talked about that on Instagram and that you guys rewarded her for her. I mean, honestly, bravery to come on and jump into this brand and reach this many people this fast, and she'd never done it before. It's pretty amazing. So I'm gonna get some rest tonight. And what am I eating? I think I ordered in some gyros. Otherwise known by Montana as gyros. Okay, love you guys. Good night. Please click the link in my Instagram bio. Subscribe to the HPX podcast because if you like these live sessions, you'll love the podcast where we do more training, where I interview people like Tony Robbins and Rachel Hollis and Trent Shelton. I have people on stage, Lewis Howes, who just blow your mind. It's such good content. My interview with Ariana is super hot this weekend. We're dropping Deepak Chopra's interview, Marianne Williamson, Dr. Mark Hyman, Daniel. Amen's coming up. I mean, this is going. Our goal with HPX is this is going to be the best curated personal and professional development program in the world. In the business category, hands down. Go ahead and listen to all the other top podcasters in business. Not one of them sounds like the HVX podcast. We're doing something very unique. So do me a favor, download all the episodes and share it with your friends and get them to subscribe and download all the episodes because that is what I think is going to help us stay on the charts, honestly. And I appreciate y'. All. I know I've been. People been dropping off, as I said good night. I always say good night. And I keep talking. Gosh, I gotta stop doing that. Gosh. Love you guys. Good night. Thank you. For everything. Hey, my friends, what's up? It's Brendan, and welcome to the HPX Live. I'm stoked to chat with you guys today. I just spoke to about 4,000 people live today. As many of you guys know, I did it yesterday and today here I was in Nashville, Tennessee, and it was really, really super awesome. Unbelievable audience. I know some of you guys are going to be joining us who are from that audience today. I thought I'd talk to you about today, about, you know, what it's like to give a huge speech and how you can give an awesome speech if you ever have that opportunity. I thought I'd share that, take some questions from you guys, give you a team challenge. Since this is hpex, if this is your first time joining us, HPEX stands for the High Performance Experience. And I consider you guys my team, my tribe, my community. And so we have something very, very special for you tonight that I am announcing. Yeah, I'm in a hotel and it ain't fancy. I mean, here's the whole view. I showed it to you guys yesterday and you're all pretty much laughing. Many of you are very happy. I noticed on Instagram, like, oh, you also tear up your hotel rooms, Brendan. Yeah, I'm a little messy in hotel room. What can I say, guys? I definitely, definitely leave a little bit of a mess because usually when I get to a location, it's, you know, security gets me up in the room. I just, you know, I have three or four bags I travel with because I have the gear, I have, you know, the cameras. I've got, you know, clothes for two or three weeks. You know, I'm usually doing a seminar where it's like three to five days. So I got a lot of stuff with me, you know, from, you know, five or six days of shoes for, you know, that many. Number of stage presentations to, you know, five or six suits, five or six casual jeans and jackets. Books. I know I travel with books. Terrible idea. But I'm the high performance planner guy and the high performance habits guy. So I'm assigning them for hotel staff, for tea team, for, you know, fans, 24, seven. So I've got all that going on all the time. So to travel, if you, if you travel with me, you'd be like, this dude is a prima donna. I mean, I got supplements. Like, you know, I don't know about you guys, but I'm like a traveling pharmacy, you know, because I, I've got to make sure I've got all my supplements when I'm Traveling on the road. So because I, you know, eat really clean proteins and, and greens and stuff like that when I'm on the road, you know, my sports stuff. And so I mean, it's like three or four big bags of stuff that I travel with. I mean, any of you guys, I don't, I don't like. I bet there's someone. I bet if you're watching, I bet there's a few of you guys who are like me. You are like a traveling pharmacy. You know, you've got all your, you know, you got your shakes and your green drinks and your pills and your supplements and then you know, I've got gear and so it's a big mess. Yesterday when I was live, I showed my hotel room when I just gotten back and it was just like, just stuff everywhere. I mean it looked like I moved in 30 days ago and just never cleaned. That's what it looked like yesterday. So this person travels with a blender. That's so awesome. I love it. I see. I got people from London, Ontario on Facebook. What's up guys? Thanks for joining me us here on hpx. Casey's a traveling minimalist. One bag, one supplement blender and that's it. I appreciate it, y'. All. And remember though, I'm traveling sometimes for weeks and sometimes I'm traveling and I'm at one of these events where it's like three different, you know, days of full on training where, you know, by lunch that first outfit that's gone, it's drenched in sweat. I mean drenched. Next outfit, drench. Dinner. Drench. Because if you've seen me on stage, on social media, you see I jump around quite a bit and keep my calories up at my own events. A seminar day at my own events is just about a marathon of output in terms of calories and like if you kind of take someone who's running a marathon and you run all their numbers and you look at mine, it's about the same. So it's super intense. What's up, Jesus from Mexico? Thanks for joining us. I see ya. Hey, we had somebody at Funnel Hacker Alive. That's great. That's where I was today. Spoke to 4,000 people and awesome. Killer audience. Super fantastic. So thank you guys. If you were there, appreciate you being there. I issued a challenge to the audience today. I wanted to extend it to you guys too, as a way to say thank you to my community. I've never done ever, you know, what's considered like a community appreciation meetup, you know, because most of my seminars are thousands of people. And I've been thinking about how to do it, and a friend had this idea and we just, we announced it today, actually. And that is if any of you all have ever wanted to attend my events, but you couldn't because, you know, they're expensive. They're like $400 to $2,000 a ticket. But you want to attend one of my marketing events this year, I decided that if this community in this next week, you only have a week to do it. But if you guys in this community help our podcast, HPX Podcast reach number one. Now, it's already number one in business, right? So it's the number one business podcast in America. You guys made that happen. You already did that. Okay. If you make it number one across all categories, which is a challenge and it's super hard. So, you know, I'm just laying that out. It's going to be really hard for us to do. We're an independently produced podcast, as I showed you last night. My wife and I did our podcast on our laptops with microphones, over distance, over zoom, like, it is not easy to do. But we've got episodes from, you know, Tony Robbins and Wayne Dyer, episodes with Trent Shelton and Rachel Hollis, episodes with Tony Horton, Chalene Johnson, Lewis Howes, Trent Chal. I mean, epic episodes so far. I really believe our first week of episodes on HPX Podcast is the best ever first week of content on any personal, professional development podcast ever. I'd put it up against any in their first week to get that kind of unique content because some of it was literally these people giving a speech at my seminar, like their best thing that people paid thousands of dollars to listen to. Anyway, this is HBX Podcast. It debuted number one business podcast. Back to the story, Brendan. Stay focused. If you all help that podcast HPX Podcast reach number one across all categories, then I will come back on social media. I will send out to my email list. I will post on Instagram and Facebook an event link for my community. I'm just calling you guys Team hpx because I've never actually named you guys. I don't know, someone told me to do it in the hallway. So I will for Team xpx. So those on my email list, on my Facebook page, on Instagram, I will send a link to you. I'll send a link to you where you can register for free to one of my marketing seminars this year to give you an idea if you've never been to one of my marketing seminars. They're $400 to $2,000 a ticket. That's where I teach you. That's where I teach everything about my business, from what I do on social media, to how I built my online courses, to how do I write books and get published, to how do I do podcasting, to all the things you see me doing, Email marketing, you know, product sales, E. Com, all of that I teach at my marketing seminars. That's the challenge. You have a week to do it. So how would you do it? Honestly, if everybody who's on my Instagram who sees this or everybody who's on Facebook and sees it, if all you did is take a couple screenshots of HPX podcast, you went out to your list or your audience and said, hey, we love this thing, listen. And you linked over to the Apple podcast link or to, you know, I don't really care where you live link, then we'll get you a free ticket. How's that? So we'll do that by sending a link out to the audience and they'll sell that fast. I mean, you're talking about, I'm giving. That will mean I'm probably giving away three or four thousand tickets to this community. So do the math on that. One of what it's costing me to do. Somebody already asked, like, how do you, you know, why are conferences so expensive? The reason my conference is so expensive is because if you ever put on a wedding, try doing that for 2,000 people for four days. And now you kind of have an understanding why people have to charge money to do seminars. Yep. So that's what I think. You guys can actually do it. So I'm calling you guys, Team HPX to pull this sucker off. Maybe you can use hashtag teamhpx or something. I don't know how to do that. But listen, that's the thing I said today on stage, people freaked out. And then I got off stage and people were asking, you know, I got a wonderful standing ovation and I ran into somebody in the elevator and said, well, how, how do you think about your speeches? Like, how is it you're, you're, you know, able to do this? Because some of you have been with me. I mean, you know, spoke to 16,000 people in the Superdome or whatever it was. I don't, I think it was 16 or 19,000 people. Superdome, another 15 some thousand people. Bridgestone Arena, Utah Jazz center, sold out. Like I've sold. I've been in like monster audiences and I'm always able to get a connection with the audience. And people say why and how. And I thought I'd share with you how I think about speeches. I'm also gonna do a YouTube episode this week on it, so make sure you guys subscribe there too. If you don't yet subscribe to my YouTubes. But yes, let me re emphasize for those who joined late, our Team HPX challenge. That's what I'm calling it. The Team HPX challenge is if you guys take my podcast. HPX Podcast. It's my podcast with my wife Denise. It's our new podcast. We've been talking about it all week. Debuted at number one. If you guys take it to number one across all categories, which I think we debuted at like, number six across all categories. So it's not a huge stretch. But getting to number one is very hard because those top five podcasts, those guys have budgets and teams and engineers and blah, blah, blah. And this one's like me, my wife, and Nate on our team, you know, editing late nights. So Team hpx, if you guys make HPX podcast number one across all categories on Apple podcasts, I will give you a $400 to $2000 seminar ticket to one of our marketing events, my influence event, or my experts Academy event. So you ever been there or, you know, pretty big tickets and that's what we're gonna do. I will. If we hit number one, which I'm letting you all know is super hard. Okay. It is a challenge for you to go. Here's how you can help. By the way, number one, go subscribe. But listen, download all the episodes. Download all the. Because one of the ways the charts work is by, like, download, like number of downloads. So download all the episodes and then review and rate it on Apple podcasts or on itunes and then share it. Ask three friends to go subscribe. That's it. I mean, it can be literally. Jenny, thank you so much on Facebook for just having subscribed. Jim is on Android, but on Apple, that's okay. You can still contribute because you can download it on Google Play or you guys, if you have Spotify, Google Play or Apple itunes, people say, well, you know, the challenge is got to be hit number one on Apple podcast itunes. But here's the reality is when people start talking about podcasts and they get excited about podcasts, so many people listen on iPhone, wherever you download or listen to. If you're loving it and you're talking about your friends might have it and it will just. It will happen, but it's gonna be hard. Thank you, Jenny. I appreciate that. Thank you. Hey, Downloading. I appreciate that. Thank you, Joseph. Appreciate that. I see you guys. Yeah, it's pretty epic. So any way you guys can support it, that's all. Any way you can support it, just start talking about it. So number one, download all episodes. Number two, listen to two or three of them. Just spend some time. I mean you got Tony Robbins, Trent Shelton. I'm gonna drop Marianne Williamson tomorrow, Deepak Chopra tomorrow. Denise and I just did an episode, it went live today. If you've not heard it, about our daily, weekly and monthly routines and habits and it's super epic. I'm really excited about that. Thank you guys for your support. Appreciate that. Yeah. Team hpx, what's up? HPX stands for the High Performance Experience for those who are new. We believe that the high performance experience is kind of that heightened next level of life where you feel really positive and vibrant and connected and have a higher degree of like excellence in your life where you're really excellence driven to be a great at whatever you do. Like really attain a high level mastery. That means being a high level mastery as a mom or and a business owner or whatever you do in your life. To be extraordinary is the challenge. And that's why we called it HPX High Performance Experience. Like that experience of living a different quality of life that most people don't, don't strive for. But you guys wouldn't be watching this if you weren't strivers. So I appreciate you here. It's super awesome. Thank you. Timothy Brown Sr. I see you commenting a lot. Loving the podcast. I appreciate that. So yeah, download all the episodes, listen to a bunch. This weekend your listening hours really count. Tell a bunch of friends and if we hit number one, I will come back on social media for a whole, I mean like constantly. I will give you the links on my Instagram and my Facebook page. I will send it out my email newsletter. If you're not on the HPX Life email newsletter, you can just go to hpxlife.com join our newsletter. I'll send that link out and it will be first come, first serve. I think we'll move about 3,000 tickets. Okay, tickets now. Full disclaimer. Full disclaimer. It's a free tuition waiver which means you will not pay the $397 to thousand dollar ticket. There is however if we win there is there will be select numbers of people who we will ask to pay your materials fee. Right, Our materials fee are like you know, $97 or something like that. It's for your binder and Your packet and your information. This is the way we don't lose money at it. Okay? Because I can't do this and lose money. So that's just the main thing. All right, so, but we're going to have. So the seminars are. What are they? They're June 24th through 26th. I'll post these separately. June 24th through 26th in San Diego, and gosh darn it, October. Hold on, I'm gonna go look for you guys. I know I wrote it down somewhere. Okay. And no, I'm not sick. I saw that comment. I'm not sick. I just. I just spoke. Like, for those who saw me speaking, I didn't just speak. I spoke. And then I did. After my speech, I did two interviews, I did two podcasts, I did a YouTube video, and that was today. Okay, so here they are. June 27 to 29 will be in San Diego. October 24 at 27 will be in Santa Clara. And you guys will get a $400 to $2,000 ticket tuition waiver if we hit number one. So I'm going to kind of. I'm all. I'm going to go live for about two days now and talk about it and. Because it's kind of that momentum stage. If we hit it, we hit it. If we don't, we don't. I honestly think it's going to be a hard challenge for Team hpx, but I'm like, let's see what we can do. I think it'd be fun. Honestly, I'm pretty pumped. I'm really. Yeah, really, really stoked. And I appreciate your support also, man, if you're trying to improve your life, please go download the episode. With my wife, her daily, weekly and monthly habits. It's so good. If you're on Instagram, you can click the link in my bio. You can go to any podcast platform, just type in HPX Podcast. You will see it there. Okay, I promise to share with you this sheet. This sheet is how do I think about giving a great speech? And so here we go. I think that a great speech can only be great in proportion to how many life truths you teach and make resonate. So shorthand life truths. If your speech, I mean, you can share tons of data, insight, stats, amazing stories, be very entertaining. But if you don't have life truths that hit people in the heart about who they are, how they show up, how they treat their family, how they approach their career, how they contribute, how they strive for a better life, if you don't speak life truths to People, they're like, whatever. Heard it before. And a lot of people these days, they speak in cliches instead of life truths. A life truth has a deeper value to it. It helps you recognize something more important. You know, like, gave the example of one of the ones that I did was I talked to today. I said, there's that point in your life where you realize the difference between busy work and your life's work. And when you find that, finally you start feeling more fulfilled at doing your work. You can work equally as hard, but there's more fulfillment there. And that's when your big breakthroughs start happening. And so that little distinction. Right? Little distinction. Thank you, Brad. I appreciate you being there. That's super awesome. Thank you for your compliment. If you were there in that audience today, it was magic. And I certainly don't. I didn't create that. I mean, the promoters got to create a sense of magic, and then you got to come out and do your job if you're a speaker. So, number one, life truths. Number two, enthusiasm. I mean, one of my great mentors, Paulo Coelho, and he wrote the Alchemist, and Paulo taught me, he says that there's two primary emotions that we all want and strive for and really connect with. Enthusiasm and love. And I always like that. Enthusiasm and love. But enthusiasm is that fire and that excitement for what you're doing, even if even. Look, you can be tired and still be enthusiastic. You know, you can be sick and still enthusiastic. I've been with people in a hospital bed who still had incredible enthusiasm for their day and for their life, even though it involved literally taking pills, trying to go to the bathroom, and eating jello. And I'm not making a joke. That was, like, what they were dealing with. They felt terrible, but they still found enthusiasm for life because they thought about the future and they connected with what was possible. I think it's really important. So life truths, enthusiasm. Number three, making sure that you always share your struggles before you share your successes. Share your struggles before your successes. I always tell people, you know, all those guys who get up on stage and, like, look at my fancy car, my fancy house, and, you know, they start. They get up and they immediately start bragging about their accolades or their money or their achievements, and they're just going on and on and on about it. What they don't realize is people don't care about your successes if they don't believe your struggles. People gotta hear what you've been through before you share the outcome. If you start talking with the outcome, you sound like a narcissist. So you gotta really build and explain to people the challenges that you faced along your journey and how you thought about those challenges, how you dealt with those challenges, and what that ultimate outcome was that allowed you to be on that stage sharing your message. I hope that helps. I see number four, I talked about. And again, this is coming on an upcoming episode of my YouTube channel. So if you don't yet, I mean, if you guys want hours and hours of training free, whether you get to come to my seminars or not, just subscribe to hvex podcast and head over my YouTube channel. You know, there's years of personal and professional development training there on every topic imaginable. Tomorrow I'm launching on Monday I have an episode coming out on YouTube on how to deal with overwhelm. It's pretty good. Let's see, number four, you got to create interaction with the audience. And what I mean by that is you should have the audience interact and actually do something together. I think that's really important. Like have the audience shout something out or have them stand and talk to each other, or have them, you know, high five. Like have them interact during your presentation beyond you, that they're getting value from each other and their conversation interaction is equal or at some point near to the value you're adding. That's really important. And then from there it's all about structure, story, and you being in the right place. I think to me, the great secret of all speeches is your warm up. It's you hitting that stage, ready to go. You don't get to the stage and start talking and warm up. You don't have the time. You get yourself in the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual place so that you can serve at your highest levels. That's hugely, hugely huge important. So if you ever saw me backstage, I mean, for 15 or 20 minutes backstage, you see me bouncing, you see me opening meridians on my body, you see me doing deep breathing but constantly moving. Then the hour before that, I'm usually in, you know, backstage area, green room or hotel room or conference room, depending where it's at, or arena center in the back. And I am like, I might be literally skipping to warm up my body. I might be doing air squats, I might be doing qigong stretches and bodyworks. I am really activating my breath and vocal warmups so that my voice can power through the hours. I mean, to give you an idea today, let's see, two, three, four. I spoke five hours today. Five hours. Five hours of speaking I don't know if some of you guys ever get off a phone call and you only talk like 30 minutes, your voice is gone. I spoke for five hours, so the prep is really important, and that's really important to me. And then just knowing how to influence people. Knowing how to influence people. I talk about in my book High Performance Habits. So if you have not read High Performance Habits, get it. Read the chapter on influence and you will never, ever struggle again to wonder why you have influence or why you don't have influence. The answers are very clear. The science is super straightforward. The way you gain influence with people is you teach them how to think, you challenge them, and you role model the way teach them how to think, challenge them, and role model the way. I talk about that in depth in High Performance Habits. I was actually talking about that on stage today, matter of fact, with that particular topic. And so that's the answer. I hope that supports. So with that, I'm gonna do some Q and A with you guys. I'll reemphasize our team HPX challenge for the day, and we'll see what we got. Yeah, no, I just had. No, I didn't. Nope. I didn't get ready for this. They're like, didn't you get ready for the live cast? I'm like, no. I got home, I did my YouTube, I did my podcast episode, took a shower, enjoying life. Okay, thank you. I appreciate it. I'm glad you guys were there today. I really appreciate that. Yes, Jeannie, Think challenge model. Think challenge model. Think challenge. Role model. That's huge. So let me know what your questions are, and I'm happy to support and answer any of your questions while we're here. Let's see, let's see. Number one, marketing tip. I don't. I can't say I have number one. I think the most important thing is of always, always, always in all of marketing is value, is story, is consistency, is offer sequence. Value, story, consistency, offer sequence. I think that's the most important thing to all of marketing. If you don't add value to the customers, they don't get it. If you're not consistent in there enough, they don't see you. If you don't have an offer sequence that actually makes money, it doesn't work. And if you're not wrapping it around a greater story, then they don't have a connection to it. Boy, that was. That was like 30 seconds of good right there. Was that. Was that good? Dang. I should write that stuff down. Let's see Sam on Instagram when are you coming to Sydney, Australia? In 2020? Not it's not gonna be this year, Dean Jacobs says. What do you choose to speak? How do you choose what to speak about? Often, Dean, people just hire me for a topic I'm known for, which for me is motivation, high performance, and all things related to those things that might be, you know, productivity that might be helping people find their purpose or clarity, that might be helping people develop influence or courage. Those are the things I tend to be hired for because that's what I built a canon of work on. So you often get hired a speaker based on the work that you've previously done. Right. So people know you for something because you've done work. If it's not that what I choose to speak on is always, I always have. In every talk in my mind, I have five things that I want to convey that are my life's message or my life's purpose and they're going to get intertwined in there. Even if I'm talking about something technical or something business, I will figure out a way to do that. Hey my friends, I hope you enjoyed this week's roundup of my Instagram and Facebook Live sessions.
