Bill from Beyond Fitness Online shows a core exercise for people with balance problems. Set up a 6-to-12-inch obstacle, keep hands behind your back, and lift both feet over it together. Do 10 to 20 reps at a moderate pace, focusing on core engagement rather than hip flexor strain.

Hi, I'm Bill from Beyond Fitness Online. Today I want to show you a great core exercise in, in a way that makes it nice and safe if you have balance issues. So what we're going to do is we're going to put our feet together. We're going to have something fairly tall, about 6 to 12 inches tall, right here in front of us. We're going to have our hands back here. Now maintain good posture through the spine. Stay nice and tall. You're going to take your feet together, lift them up, and And over that obstacle and back. We're barely touching the ground on each side. We're going to repeat this at about this speed for about 10 to 20 reps. You should feel more of the engagement here. If you start feeling it in the hip flexors, it's time to stop, take a rest, and then repeat the exercise again. Follow me for more tips and tricks like these.
