Bill Brown discusses how AI and augmented reality are transforming home services. AR can now overlay a virtual faucet onto your kitchen to preview it before buying. Contractors need to decide whether to adapt to these technologies or risk falling behind.
It's so interesting because when we launched the business to now, the things we can do with AI to help our customers move faster— Goodness. As you know, they're unbelievable and they're coming quickly.
Think about how well-guided the journey can be. Whereas when you started, it was just an if-then, if this, then that form. And now, man, my goodness, I don't know if you guys have it, but you can use augmented reality to show what the new faucet's going to look like installed. And so, I mean— Yep. I think contractors have to ask themselves, is the future, is this the way that consumers are going to buy in the future or not?
Yes. It's kind of one or the other, right? But yeah.
