Close more jobs with second look financing | TAD Tune-Up

Erica Jeffries shows how to use Titan Advisor to offer second-look financing when customers are declined on a first application. Technicians submit the initial request via mobile, and if it fails, they can quickly run a second application through Turns Financing that reuses customer data. The feature tracks whether over 80% of recent jobs came after a declined first-look.
Hi there, my name is Erica Jeffries. I'm a program facilitator here at Service Titan and I'm excited to be bringing another episode in the TAD Tune up series. This time about offering second look financing to close more jobs. Before we hop into that too much, let's talk about tad. What is tad? TAD is that little rocket ship icon that we're probably used to seeing. It is essentially a virtual assistant or best practice guide on how to to make sure that you are utilizing Service Titan to its utmost based on your customized business needs. So let's hop into the feature itself. I will share my screen. Here we go. Now that I'm sharing screen here, we are on our Service Titan modular dashboard page. Keeping in mind I am on a demo account so my information is going to look pretty wonky. But I will navigate you folks to the top right navigation bar where we have this rocket ship icon that is going to take us to Titan Advisor. This is our overview page. Again, probably something that we're familiar with. Before I had mentioned that Titan Advisor was a best practice guide that kind of followed along with your customized business plan. This is where you're able to do that. Just as a reminder now to get into how to close more jobs by offering second look financing, I'm going to get you to pop into business sections all the way down to selling and performing work. Then we're going to hop from launch acceleration all the way into the optimization and we're going to see this list of different things to set up. Now, depending on what you do and don't have set up, the order of this list might look a little bit different. But I'm going to get you to look for the close more jobs by offering second look financing and click on that. Alrighty. So as we look more at this page, we also see effective KPI. So what that's saying is that if we do have this feature and we're using it and optimizing it, the effective KPIs are going to be the revenue per lead, the average ticket and conversion rates. I'm going to get you to scroll down and what we're going to see, which is something that you see throughout Titan Advisor, is two different sections. There's the what to set up and then the how to use. If by some chance you're not seeing that, you're just kind of seeing these headers, I'm going to get you to just click on these arrows and it is going to pop open those sections. So in the what to set up Obviously, before we have second look financing, we're going to have to have our first look financing integration set up. The setup for both of these pieces is the same. You need to contact our service site and financing team at this email that I'm highlighting here. Once you email them, you are able to get your financing integrations enabled. And that is both for the first look and the second look financing integration. And we are talking about our second look financing integration through turns financing. Today once those things are set up, our incomplete is going to turn into a complete. There are no points for this setup. Though you folks probably have noticed that in other features there are setup. Then we're looking at our how to use section. So this is essentially the boots on the ground. What does this look like in actuality? What are we measuring for these two service Titan points? It's going to be that in over 80% of the cases, the percent of jobs in the last seven days were after an unsuccessful first look financing. Techs offer that second look. These points will go up and down. So these two points up and down with your Titan Advisor score depending on if you are at that over 80% in the last seven days. This learn more button, if you click on it, it's going to open up some documentation in our knowledge base about second look financing and the turns integration. We can also link that below in the description. Now, once we have our setup completed and we understand how we're going to be measured in Titan Advisor and how we're going to be using this thing, I would like show you folks how what it would look like for a tech. So just to set the scene a little bit here, what we're looking at is an estimate. We're saying that this tech has been dispatched to this job, they've arrived, they've booked or they've built out an estimate and now we're getting to wanting to apply for financing, we can find this Apply for financing button both in the estimates tab and the invoice tab in the mobile platform. Now we're going to click on Apply for financing. Keeping in mind that in order to get second look financing we first have to go through this first look financing. So I will fill out this application quickly just with some kind of dummy data. This is asking for our annual pre tax income. So again I'm just going to put some some fake data in here. Perfect. I'm going to hit Continue. We're going to click all of these authorization boxes. Continue. It was quite quick as we saw and they were unable to approve the application. So once this first look financing has not been approved, what we're able to do is provide our second look financing and we're going to hit pre qualify with turns financing. Really nice piece of this is that some of the information from the first application is actually going to get pulled over into the second look financing. So a lot of these things are pre added. This is now asking for our monthly income. We'll make something else up. So in another 10 to 30 seconds here we will have a decision on the pre qualification from turns which is our second look first financing. And we see here that the application has been approved and we also have multiple offers to choose from. I'm going to just pick a random one, hit select and confirm selection. A link to the completed application is going to be sent to the client. Both their email on file and that they put in the application and their phone number that they put in the application as well. And just like that, we have gone over not only how Titan Advisor measures the points, but also how to get first and second look financing set up. We've talked about the benefits of offering these financing types and we've seen what it looks like in the field. Thank you so much for joining me on this episode of Tad Tune up and we look forward to seeing you for the next one.
