Let's get into the story of your business. Doug, your family has a long history in roofing, dating back to 1972, and you started Trademark Roofing, your own business, at 17. How did your family's history in the business shape your decision to become a roofer?
Well, growing up, roofing is all we knew. Thanksgiving, Christmas, grandma roofed, my aunts, all my great uncles, bunch of good human beings. And roofing was the only thing I was around. And truthfully, I never thought about a different opportunity. You know, in kindergarten, when they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, it was a rooster. So that's pretty much all we've ever been, all my family's ever been.
