A roofing contractor explains three ways to stay competitive: nail your business plan and financials, adopt tech that actually works for your processes, and test products with partners before committing. The focus is on productizing what works and building sustainable, community-focused businesses.
When I think about who's going to dominate in roofing, I think there's going to be three things that are really important. Number one, you have to have a plan. Knowing your numbers and where you want to take your business over time and the outcomes that you want to drive. Number two is understanding what's available from a technology perspective and how valuable it can be to your business. You need to leverage technology to get ahead of good process augmented by great technology will really propel you ahead of the competition, in my opinion. Number three is pick the right partners, you know, spend time with folks, understand what's available, demo the products, try them, and you'll find I think very quickly that there's a ton of value to be had. We really work to productize best practices by partnering with best contractors in the country. We take phenomenal technology and apply it to those best practices to build a world class product. It's a phenomenal industry. Feels like home. It's the same as the other contractors. We work with great people, pillars of their community, entrepreneurs. They want to be right by their people. They want to build a great business. Our job is to make people in this industry more successful and that is a commitment that we will make.
