I Made A Video For Everything In ServiceTitan

Richard Coburger built a searchable video library of over 150 ServiceTitan tutorials with transcripts you can search inside, plus an AI assistant trained on the content. It took 13 months and covers everything from call booking to payroll, with new videos added as ServiceTitan updates.

About 13 months.
Over 150 videos.
What's going on, everybody? It's Richard Coburger here, the Blue Collar Nerd. And in this video I have an announcement to make. So for the past, oh, 13 months now, I've been spending most of my free time cooking up a little something in the kitchen. And that something is the subject of today's video. The thing I've been working on for 13 months. I think you're really gonna like it. Here it comes. It is Luke Ollard, Nerd's ultimate service type. The Ultimate Service Titan Guide is an organized and searchable library of content made by me personally that systematically teaches you how to use all of Service Titan. And when I say it's a searchable library of content, I don't just mean like the titles of the videos, I mean all of the content that I'm saying. Everything I say within the videos is transcribed and then all of that content is searchable. So you can quickly find exactly what you're looking for, Even if it's 20 minutes into a video somewhere. Let me show you what I mean. So I'm inside the guide right now and let's say I've gone through the guide one time, I've watched all of the content and now I'm remembering that somewhere in that content, Blue Collar Nerd mentioned that there's some different place a technician needs to go to change from do work now to do work later on the mobile side, specifically when they use esign in that situation, something's different, but I can't remember the details. So I want to rewatch that part of that video but, but I don't know what video that was. So I'll come up here to the search bar and I'll just say esign do work later. And then searching through the transcripts to find where I'm talking about those things. And this is the video where I talk about that mobile follow ups and estimates. So now I can just click into that. It takes me right to the video. Here's that piece of the transcript and if I click on that timestamp there, it even takes me right to that part of the video. Or if you're having trouble finding the piece of content that you're looking for that way, then there's also an alternative down here which is BCN bot. This is an AI bot that has been trained on the content of the guide so you can ask it questions in natural language. And as long as it's in the guide, it should be able to pull up an answer for you. So again, let's say I remembered a video about a feature. I can't remember what it was called, and I can't remember really anything specific that I said in that video, but I remember basically what the feature was. The feature was something that allows you to combine multiple service items in the price book and into one item so that you can choose which material you're going to use when there's multiple options. So let's ask BCN Bot what that is. So I'm asking what's the feature that lets you combine multiple price book services into one and then pick the specific material you're going to use? I'll say send. All right. And then it spits out the answer for me. It says that's called configurable services. And then it gives me its references down here so I can jump straight into the configurable services video that it's referencing to get that answer. So that can also work as a backup form of search. I'm really showing off the searchability of this because I think that's the most important feature. I worked really hard to find a platform that could do this. It wasn't easy. I had to do a lot of extra digging and work to make that happen. But I thought it was really, really important because if I said that this was just like a course, hey, you just go through it and then you're good, right? I don't think that's actually delivering you a good product that delivers on the promise. Just like knowing Service Titan, like knowing all of it. It's not an achievable goal. It's a ridic ask. It's too much information for a single human brain, at least. It's certainly too much for my human brain. Maybe your human brain is better than mine, but I made this thing and there's still tons of questions you could ask me where I would be. Like, let me go back and reference my own video. It is a lot to remember. So just having the guide constantly there as your sidekick and you can reference it whenever you need it, that's really valuable, I think. By the way, as we all know, Service Titan is constantly changing and updating, and so the guide is going to do that as well. So at launch, here we have our introduction section. We have call booking, dispatching, price book forms, accounting estimates and sales, marketing, customer experience, memberships, payroll reporting, purchasing and inventory miscellaneous. Within all that, There are over 150 videos with more on the way. Also, as a Guide member, you get exclusive access to the private guide member community. This is where Other guide members as well as myself will spark discussions and ask and answer any questions. I made this guide because I hear all the time people will say that they feel like when it comes to Service Titan, they don't know what they don't know, they just know that they're not using it to its fullest extent. If that's you, then I think the guide will be a real game changer because it really puts a spotlight on all of the different features within Service Titan as well as a lot of those pesky backend features that are gated. Those can be really difficult to find out about unless somebody shows them to you. That said, because this guide just covers everything there is content in here for any skill level beginner to advanced. No matter who you are, if you go through the entire content of the guide, you're definitely going to come out the other end having learned some new stuff. I can say that pretty confidently because I learned a ton of new stuff in the process of making this and Service Titan is my full time job. So that's the guide. Now this is something that I'm charging for. There are both monthly and annual plans and I know. Boo. Boo. Subscription models. Boo. Look, I get it. I would have done it a different way if it were possible, but it wasn't. Because Service Titan is constantly growing and morphing and changing, I'm going to have to keep putting more and more work into this guide to add new content and edit the existing content. And because it is geared towards a very niche group of people, Service Titan users, I can't compensate for the labor by constantly selling it as a one time fee to more and more new people forever. That's a well that will eventually run dry, if you will and you must. And if this is something you're not interested in, or at least not interested in paying for, absolutely no worries at all. This changes absolutely nothing about my relationship with Service Titan and the free content that I'm putting out. So you're still going to be getting just as much free blue collar nerd content that is going to be just as thorough as it always was. Plus of course Server Titan already offers you tons of free resources like Service Titan Academy, the Knowledge base, ongoing webinars, all of that stuff. So if you don't see the need for anything additional like what I'm offering here, no problem at all. If this is something that interests you, however, you can find out more by going to blue collarnerd.com Appreciate it. Peace. Sam.
