How to renew an expiring customer membership from the office. Find the membership record via Calls, Search, or Follow up page, open the Estimate Renewal, click Sold and Convert to generate an invoice, add payment, then send it to accounting.
When your customer is ready to renew their membership, you would need to open up the record where the membership is located that may be on the customer's record or on the location record for that customer. To get to that record, you may search for the customer or that location record, either from the Calls page or or from the search page. Either way, as long as you have that record open, you can renew that membership. Another way to locate that record is on the Follow up page. I'm going to show you how you can find the customer's record from the Calls page. Now let's say that my customer Leah woods called and she wants to renew her membership. What you can do is click into the location record, click into their membership and scroll down to the Estimate Renewal. Open that up and click on Sold and Convert. Now from the Follow up page you'll need to click into the Expiring Memberships tab. Filter your dates as needed. As you can see here, I've already got my customer Leah woods here and I've already generated an estimate renewal invoice here for the customer. So from this page you'll need to click on the estimate and that takes you back to this Renewal Estimate page and then click Click on Sold Convert. That will generate an invoice automatically. So from this page you can add a payment, save that, and then your accounting team will batch, post and export according to their regular process. So that is how you can renew a membership from the office.
