A roofing CEO shares how he doubled productivity by applying operational lessons across two different businesses. He focuses on efficiency gains and the financial strategies that made scaling possible.
I'm curious. So now you have these two different businesses that you're heavily, heavily involved in, CEO in one full owner operator and the other, what are you learning from the local roofs model that you're taking over to the Conejo model and vice versa, if that's applicable efficiency, say more.
The number one thing that I've learned, like I said in the beginning of this is I've moved fast. I never used to measure watching sophisticated guys out of New York, out of Chicago, these big time entrepreneur investors, they measure everything. And I'm like oh my gosh, you guys measure everything. I was born a service tech, an installer. I've always been really good at efficiencies in production, on how to put a system in, how to run ductwork, how to fix something.
Sure.
And when I got into this and I started learning the entrepreneurial, the finance side of it, there's a lot to learn.
