A plumber outlines his vision for scaling a commercial division: building a training center to educate future plumbers, adding value to his team and marketplace, and treating the business as a 'just cause' larger than himself.
What is your vision for inception? Plumbing.
One of the main things for me is I want to build a business that inherently adds value to our team and the marketplace. We have to have a business that functions really well and does those things. Second, my vision for the company is a just cause. Basically, our just cause is to remind the world of the forgotten tradesmen. Through education, we look to change commoditized views to one of merit and necessity. So for me, the big vision of the company is to raise the trade up and really invest in building plumbers for tomorrow while taking care of the market today. So that's what I'm going to do with this building and this training center. And that's kind of the whole concept behind the vision is something bigger than just ourselves.
