Why Are My Non-Job Events Disappearing?? #shorts

So you've got non job events disappearing from the dispatch board and you're wondering well how come? Well there are a few reasons why this could happen. We'll start with the most obvious one. Someone could have deleted it. Now the best way to prevent that is just to limit the edit non job events permission to a select few number of people. Now the next thing that could cause this is the settings on the timesheet code. So if you are using technician clock in and clock out then in your timesheet code settings you will have this checkbox that says exclud from reports if technician fails to clock in. If that box is checked then any non job events using that timesheet code the technician has to clock into them or else they will disappear off of the dispatch board. And the third thing that could cause disappearing non job events is this checkbox. So when you are creating a non job event, if you hit edit to see more options, there is this option to clear the non job event from the dispatch board once the event is over. So if that box is checked then it will do exactly that. As soon as the event ends it will clear it from the dispatch board. Alright, goodbye.
