In the opening video of a ten‑part series, Billy Sticker stresses that the most critical step to making 2014 a successful year is knowing exactly what you want. He argues that without a clear, tangible vision you cannot plan effectively, whether you are a chiropractor, internet marketer, or salesperson. He advises viewers to define specific, written goals in various life areas—relationships, finances, business—using concrete numbers and dates (e.g., “On March 1, 2014 I will earn $X”). He cites classic self‑help books such as Think and Grow Rich and Psycho‑Cybernetics to support the idea that focused thought programs the subconscious. He recommends a 15‑20 minute exercise to visualize and write down these goals, then to take daily incremental actions toward them. He illustrates the process with his own experience writing books, where he first clarified the book’s purpose, audience, and then reverse‑engineered the steps needed, committing to daily work. The video ends with a call to subscribe and a preview of the next practical tip in the series.

Hey guys, Billy Sticker here. And this is going to be video number one on a 10 part series on how to make 2014 the absolute best year you can make it. And on this video I want to talk about starting off with what I think is one of the most important things is it's knowing what you want. For 2014 to be a great year for anything you ever plan, you have to know exactly what you want. So many times we go throughout our business, whether that business be chiropractic or whether it be Internet marketing or whether it be some kind of sales and you just show up every day and you just work, you go through the motions, but you have to know exactly what you want. It needs to be tangible, you need to be able to write it down. I've got a couple of books up here. I mean here's. Let's see, Think and Grow Rich talks about. You've got to know exactly what you want, think about it. And the more and more you think about it, your subconscious kind of takes over. Psycho cybernetics, there's another one like that. I can sit here and go through my books and talk about stuff like that forever. But a lot of these books, a lot of these programs talk about you've got to know what you want. If you don't know what you want, how are you ever going to know? Whenever you get there for you, starting off 2014, you need to have some clear, concise goals. If it's something to do with relationships, know exactly what that is. If it has to do with finances, whether it's a certain amount of money you want to be bringing in per month by March 2014, you need to write that out and be specific. Hey, on March 1, 2014, I will be bringing in X amount of dollars into my practice, into my Internet marketing company through my sales funnels. Whatever it is, you got to know exactly what it is. We're going to go on and talk about other things that I promise you is going to help you make 2014 a good year. It's going to help you. It's going to be practical principles that you can take and apply. You know this. One of the things I'm known for is writing books. Here's three of my books right here. But even in these, whenever I wanted to write a book, I first had to know, I want to write a book. This is what I want it to be about. This is my audience, this is who I'm talking to. And then I had to back it up. Okay, this is where I want kind of reverse engineer it. But I had to do something daily. I had to take action daily to do a little bit more, a little bit more, a little bit more. But anyway, you can get massive things accomplished when you know exactly what it is that you want to do. So that's the first thing. So on this video, we're just talking about knowing exactly what you want. What I want you to do, take 15, 20 minutes, and I want you to visualize it, write it down, come up with something that's tangible. That way, whenever you do achieve it, you know you've achieved something. But set some goals for this year. Do it in different areas of your life. Relationships, finances. You know, maybe it's paying off some bills, maybe it's making a certain amount of income, maybe it's attracting a certain amount of patients or, you know, to your practice or leads into your new business. Whatever it is, determine what it is you want that's going to help make this year a great year. So hope you got something out of this. Excuse my voice. I've had some bronchitis issues I'm trying to get over. But this is important. I wanted to share it with you, make sure that you subscribe, do whatever you need to do, because tomorrow is going to be another video. And I'm going to have, like I said, 10 of these that are. Every day is going to be something practical to help you reach the goals that you want to reach. Thanks.
