Hey, guys, Billy Sticker here. And we're going to talk in this video about how to make money online, just how to make money online. Because chances are you're like a lot of people out there. You want to work for yourself. You know, you get tired of getting up every morning, going to a job that you don't like, getting paid less than what you're really worth, and you just want something different. And the thing is, if you don't do something about it, nothing's going to change. Every Sunday you get that sick feeling like you just don't want to get up the next morning and you're already thinking of excuses. And that's one of the great things about making money online is there are thousands and thousands of people out there making thousands and thousands of dollars a year, a month, thousands of dollars a day online selling products, selling things. And the great thing about an online business is you can operate it from anywhere. You have a computer and Internet connection. You know, you don't have to worry about if the kids are sick, you've got to call into work and worry about what your boss is going to say or worry about losing your job. You can do whatever you want. You can actually have the lifestyle that go on the trips, do whatever you want. I mean, we've been on seven cruises the past few years. My kids have gone on six of them with us. We have three kids. I mean, my youngest one is seven and he's been on six cruises. And some people say you spoiled. Well, we just. We're in a position to be able to do stuff like that. But let's get into this, okay? Because you didn't watch this video just to hear that stuff. You watched it to learn how to make money online. So the first thing that you need is a product, okay? You gotta have something to sell. Now, there's different types of products. It can be a physical product or it can be a digital. A digital product, okay, a digital product would be something, you know, where it's delivered online. It's not something physical that you have to mail to them, but you may have something that you make and you want to be able to, you know, how do I. These trinkets, whatever it is that you make, how do you sell them online? That's fine. That's one of the things we're going to talk about. But there's the benefit of, like a digital product is you create it one time and then you don't have to do anything again. As a matter of fact, I've written Four different books. There's one here, another one on marketing. This one's a marketing book for chiropractors. This is just a general marketing book. Here's one on the ABCs of a leader. This is a good book. I can say that because I wrote it. And here's another one just on using social media marketing to grow your business. But I wrote these books and what I did is I put together a course. Three of those books I wrote within three weeks. One of them not in the same three weeks, but per book. It took me roughly two to three weeks per book to write one of the books. It took me seven years. That was the first book I worked on. Once I figured out what to do, I knew there were other people out there that wanted to write books. So what I did is I developed a digital course. It's these different modules that somebody goes through. There's stuff that they download and these videos that talks them through. Step by step, everything they need to write a book. It's a digital product. But the great thing is once it was created, took a long time to do. It was a lot of work to get it done. Once it was done, I don't have to do anything anymore. All I have to do is send people to that page that are interested in writing books and then I make money every time somebody buys so product. The second thing I actually just mentioned it is you need leads. Okay, you need leads. Now how do you get leads? Leads can be traffic that goes to your offer. But really what this is is you want to be able to collect emails. You want your email list, and this is the money's in the list. If you've never really heard much about Internet marketing before, you'll hear this a lot. The bigger your list, the more money you're going to make. Chances are you've gone to a website, you wanted information and there was a place to put your email in before you went to the offer. Whatever it is that they were, the information you were looking for, what they did is they captured your email list. For, for my example on how to write a book, people go before they actually see the information they put in their email address. Now I have their email address. And think about it. If you have a list of 1,000 emails, or maybe you have a list of 10,000 or 100,000, there's people that have lists of hundreds of thousands of people. Once you have a list that big that all know who you are and they're interested in the stuff that you do, how easy is it to make money, you have to come up with a good offer. You can run a sale on the products they're already interested in. Maybe they just haven't bought it yet. You send out an email and they buy. Another thing is not everybody's going to buy the very first time they go to your site. So you want to be able to capture their email so you can stay in front of them and remind them, give them other value to make them want to come back and eventually get your stuff. How often have you decided you wanted something and then you're like, well, I want it, but maybe not right now. If you don't capture their email, they're gone. Well, there's actually some other tricks that I talk about, some other videos where you don't have to do that, but this is what you want, you have to develop. This is one of the most important things after knowing what you're going to sell is developing an email list and then a relationship with them. But that's further down the line. After you have leads for you to make money, you've got to be able to convert, convert these leads, which this is turning them into sales, actually making money. Now in doing this, let's say, for example, 100 people go to your site. Out of the hundred people, ten of them put their email list in. You get their emails of 10 of them. Out of those 10, one to two people buy. Well, conversions would be how do you get, instead of one to two people to buy, how do you get three to five people to buy? In other words, the same traffic. If you can increase your conversions, you get more sales with the same effort. Also, once you have your email list, if you can learn how to market to that email list, giving them value, people are going to want more of what you have and it turns into conversions.
