So my oldest son was 12 at the time, and I went home and I said, hey, I want to change things up a little bit. If you ask us for something that you want to do, something you want or whatever, and we say no, I'm giving you permission to respectfully make your case. I'm giving you permission to sell us on why you think it's a good idea and the benefits of us doing that. Now, granted, sometimes it's going to be a hard no, and you need to learn to hear that. And obviously, it worked. He's an extremely successful business owner now. Like, they're crushing life.
