Billy Sticker says parents can only do what they're able to do, and that's enough. Even perfect parenting doesn't guarantee a child's faith. A strained relationship between parent and child isn't automatically the parent's fault, though it could be.
All You Can Do Is All You Can Do, But All You Can Do Is Enough. It's actually another book title. Sometimes as parents you can do everything right, but your kids still have free choice. Your kids may not be where they need to be with God. There may be a strained relationship with you right now, and that doesn't mean it's your fault. Even— it might be, I don't know the situation, but I wanted to be sensitive because I know sometimes that happens. Amen.
