One batch of air-fried chicken becomes three different weeknight meals: a salad plate, noodles with stir-fry vegetables, and rice with sweet potatoes. Cook once, plate it three ways, and stop worrying about what your kids will actually eat.
Here's how I cook one thing, make three meals out of it all that my kids will actually eat.
One of the things that my kids will consistently eat is just plain grilled chicken with a little bit of seasoning. So at the beginning of the week we make a big batch in the air fryer and slice it up. Day one, we might plate it with some bagged salads, some sliced fruit. The kids salad looks a little different and that's okay. Then we will pack it up, pop it in the fridge for the rest of the week. Day two, we might put it in a pan with some noodles and with some stir fry veggies. Again, the kids plates look a little different but we're still basically having the same meal. Day three, we might make some rice or some quinoa again with some stir fry veggies and add a little sweet potatoes on the side. Three meals out of one ingredient that everyone loves.
