30-Minute ABSolution Workout Party - LIVE with Amy!

Amy leads a 30-minute live workout closing the ABSolution challenge with timed circuits mixing cardio, strength, core, and mobility. She announces the May "Move" challenge, a themed month moving through fitness "decades," and takes requests from live chat throughout.
Look at this camera. Happy Saturday. First live in the new space, everybody. Welcome, welcome. So much more space for them to run and be loud, right? And this echo. Oh, of course. There's always one that's pouting a little bit. Come here. Come here. Can we say hi to everybody? Hi, Agnes. Lori, Kelly, Charlotte. Amanda is here. Jenny is here. Janine. Sandra. Lynn. Mia. Tamika. Lori. Hello. Hello. Are we ready for the absolution party? I know I am. So if you. In case you missed it, we have a brand new gym space, and I am so excited to be working out in here. We just got in this week. We just started filming our workouts for our next challenge, which I'm gonna talk about later after our workout. Laura is here. Charlotte, Sandra. Okay, please don't touch that. Please don't touch that. O. All right, team. So first live in the space. It is our absolution party. You guys absolutely crushed the absolution challenge, and we are closing it out. Rachel is here. Liz. Okay. Maya's gonna sing into the sunscreen container. All right. Hi, Cheryl. Aaron. Angela. Jean. Carrie, Liz, Jamie. I know. So much space, so much light. I don't even know what to do with myself. All right, performance is over. Good job. Good job. With our twirler. With our singer. Go with daddy. Say bye to everybody. Okay. Say bye. All right, Andrea. Happy birthday yesterday. This is a party for you. This is okay. Okay, everybody got their shoes? All right. Hey, Lori, Alan, Melissa, Elizabeth. All right, so if you've never done a party workout with me before, we always close out our monthly challenges. The way it works is we will have circuits with the just creeper coming through. We will have circuits of strength, cardio, core, mobility. And then your last round is choose your own adventure, which means you get to pick which one you want to close with. So it's gonna go fast. It's gonna be fun. We are gonna have a good time. Kai, can you turn my fan on for me? Can you do that? Can I give you that job? And, Maya, you get that one. All right, team, so we are gonna go ahead and start moving. Bear with us, because we are just getting used to working out in this space. Let's go ahead and do it. Thank you. Thank you, buddy. All right, here we go. Thank you. Thank you, everybody. It is a team effort. Go ahead and start marching and moving your body. Let's roll through those shoulders. Perfect. Thank you so much. I'm so glad I have my whole crew here today. Thank you. Bye, Maya. Bye, Kai. Thank you, team. All right, so we're getting it going here. Oh, Anna and her daughter Amanda, who just turned five. Excellent. Catherine. It's her birthday too. Happy birthday. All right, team Mel from Washington, Susanna is here. Megan and Alyssa. Thanks, everybody. We are excited to be in here. It has been a long road to get here. We built this space from the ground up. Well, we didn't, but so it has been a dream come true. Let's take it up with those eyes wise and t's shoulder mobility. Yes, Lori. They're very excited mostly because there's so much more space to run, so many more things that they can touch they shouldn't, as you know. Oh, right here. Get a little hinge with it out to here. Let's go one more with that hinge. I why? And t, since we're here, let's go flat back down and round it up. So if you have the chance, after we finish this workout, we're gonna hang out for a few minutes. I'll answer any questions you may have. And let's hold it here. I'm gonna tell you about our next challenge, which is move, which is starting on Monday. Maybe you saw the promo. If not, check it out. It's here on YouTube and on Instagram. Look, it is going to be a fun one. Walk it in right through here. Let's get a little squat. Roll that hip right through here. Yes, team, all the way through. One more each way, and let's take it right here to the side. Just go ahead and set up right here. I want you to open up that hip, Drop that knee down, little stretch over. And then if you can, take it up right here. Drop that knee. World's greatest stretch all the way through. You can even drop it down if you want to Open it up even a little bit more. Step it up and switch that. Let's take it here. Drop it down. Megan, currently Matt trapped but had to come see the stud for you. I hope that means that you're holding a little baby on you. I do miss those days sometimes. Right, hold it here. Drop that knee if you want. Take it to that plank. Just a little forward and back. Just a little up and down. Down. Dog slippery. Gonna take some time to get used to this new space. And walk your hands back and go ahead and slowly roll it up. Angela is here. Tap and reach. There's so much space. I have a hard time fighting the center. Ah, high ceilings, lots of light. That's all that I really wanted. And reach it over. If you've been here through two different spaces, this is number three. When we started the YouTube channel, we were in our first space and then second in. Thank you for all your support over the years. Even if you haven't been here, if you joined later, this is space number three. We're just continuing to grow and evolve, and that is all because of you. You continue to support us and support the challenge, so. And support the channel. I should say so. We are so appreciative. Ways you can continue to do that is just to share the bodies that love, share the channel, share the videos, like, subscribe. All those things I remind you to do. Thank you. Tiara headed. O. Good. Good for you. Headed to the mammogram. Yes. Everybody, ladies, after 40. Get it done. It's not that bad. All right, team, so go ahead and shake it out. All right, so again, in case you missed it, let's just keep it tab in here. Party workout. We are going cardio. We're going strength. We're going core, we're going mobility. And then choose your own adventure. Your fifth set, your fifth exercise is your pick. If you guys were here the last time Elise worked out with me, she said, oh, does that mean I get to quit? I get to pick to quit? No, no, but you get to pick which one you want to do, so. All right. Hey, Kayla. Good to see you. All right, team, so we're gonna start with a little bit of cardio, and because we have all this space, we're gonna do a little shuffle and then reach or shuffle punch if you want. You can mix up your punches here, take it down low, or you can just reach whatever feels best for you. Everything is 40 seconds of work followed by 20 seconds of rest. Our second exercise, we're gonna grab those dumbbells. We're gonna do a side squat, pulse, power up with a press. Side squat, pulse, power with press. So that will get our heart rate up as well. Then we will take it to some standing core. We're gonna split the time with our windmill. By the way, we're gonna be working with dumbbells and kettlebells today, but you use what you've got. All right, so body weight to start. 40 seconds. Let's get it done. Shuffle and punch. Shuffle and punch. Kurt is worried that I'm gonna go off screen because I have so much space here. So you can do a big shuffle like I'm doing, or shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, whatever feels good to you. Or double step. Low impact always works as well. Keep it moving and breathe. 10 seconds. It is very tempting to want to just go across the Whole room because we finally have space. Three, two, one. And breathe. Go ahead and grab those dumbbells. Something you can do a press with. We're gonna do right here. We are going to do a squat pulse. So pulse down for two. Step out into it. Power up with a press. If you need to take it to one dumbbell, which I might need to. You can. Here we go. Take it here. Step it out. Squat. Pulse for two, power. Pulse for two, power. I want you to think about getting low. Drop the hips, and then power. What's great about this, you keep going, is we get that little pause at the bottom to really make those muscles work. And then we get power going up. So strength and power. You've got it. We love it. Let's keep it going. 10 seconds. Pulse for two, power. Pulse for two. You got three, two, one. And relax. Breathe. All right, team, so going to a little bit of core. We are going to go to a windmill. You've done it before. You can go high, you can go low. So your low windmill is here. Your high windmill. You would take it up top. We're going 20 seconds on each side. So zip up that core. We're gonna. It's a little hinge, but it's a side bend. In 3, 2, 1. 20 seconds. Take it down and bring it up. So standing core, closing out. Absolution with a lot of core. Breathe. Take it down. Remember, you're pressing up through that back leg. 3, 2, 1. Switch your sides and let's take it up right here. In 3, 2, 1. Take it down and bring it up. Yes. And up through that oblique. Totally fine. If keeping it low is a better option for you. And up. Yes, team. Three, two, two, one. And relax. There's our core. How about a little bit of mobility? Here's what we got, team. We're just gonna walk it back. So if you need to, you can just lunge it back to here. But if you're able, take it down, walk it back, walk it up nice and wide. And bring it up. Join me for 40. 3, 2, 1. Here we go. Take it down, walk it back, walk it in flat back, Bring it up strong. All right. Really think about the mobility. Knees wide, take it out. Feel that core kick in here. And bring it up again. If you need to, you can just lunge it back. You do. You be where you are today. But if you're able, walk it back, walk it up wide. I think we got time for one more. Take it down, walk it back, take it up. Slow and controlled. And here yes, team. All right, so this is it. Last part of this circuit. Other than this, it's a no repeat workout. You decide. Do you want to shuffle and put punch? That's what I'm gonna do. Do you want a side squat, pulse and power? That's fine. Do you want to take it to the windmill? I'll cue you at the halfway point to switch, or do you want to take it to the mobility with that walk back? You pick. But join me in three, two, one. Here we go. Shuffle and punch or big shuffle. Totally fine if you're doing your squat and your press. Remember, hang out at the bottom, get a little pulse, press it up or walk it back. Or windmill. Keep it going. You're at that halfway point. So if you're at the windmill, go ahead and switch it. Keep it moving either way. Breath. Yes. We are so close. We got five, four, three, two, one. And breathe. Grab a sip of water, wherever you are. Oh, I gotta adjust these fans. The kids got them going, but they're all over the place. One of the best things about this space is we actually can run the air conditioning in it. For some reason, we forgot to turn it on, but that is a big point. Okay, team, so round two, we're gonna start with some cardio, and we're actually gonna make our cardio. A little bit of core and strength. You knew it was coming, right? So we're gonna step back into a lunge, Regular lunge. Twist to the hip, power up. Twist to the hip, power up. So, yes, your heart rate will get up, but we also are going to be getting strength. We're gonna get legs, we're gonna get core, we're gonna get arms. All right, so join me here. If you want, you can just tap back, and if you want, you can keep it small and just do the press. But let's do it in three, two, one. Lunge and twist. Press it up. Lunge and twist. One weight doesn't matter. Dumbbell or kettlebell, if you want to make it more of a chop, if you have that balance, that stability, you can again, if you want to take it small and just tap back, take it to the hip without too much twist. That's always an option, too. Keep it moving. Here we go. Lunge and twist. And up, down and up. Yes, team hammer eat. 3, 2, 1. All right, should be up. All right, team. So two heavy weights or one heavy dumbbell. We're gonna split our legs on this, but we're gonna do a kickstand hinge row and drive it up. We'll go 20 seconds here, and then we'll just switch our legs, but we'll keep our row the same. Kickstand in 3, 2, 1. So hinge, pull those elbows up. Drive up through the heel. Hinge, elbows up. Up through the heel. Yes, you can burn. And up. Switch your legs so other kickstand row is the same. Pull those elbows up right here. Down. And burn in the legs in the back. Go heavy if you can. Last one. And breathe. Yes, team. All right, let's take it to a little bit of core. We're using dumbbells this entire round. Kids got dirty footprints all over my mat. All right, team, let's take it down on your back, so I might come up a little dusty. See, this is where I'm like, where do I put this to be in the center? Okay, so we're doing a pullover with a little leg lower or leg tap. So if you want, you can just be here or totally or together. Just your toes. Modification is that bridge, if you can. We're gonna take that dumbbell everything in. All right, so lots of core, but also some upper. Let's get it done. I want to give you a second to get set with that core position. So tilt the hips forward. Remember, we're here. And let's take it. Take it down, Pull it over again. Modification. You can still do the pullover and get that bridge down and up. Yes, team. And here you can also just do one toe at a time if that feels better for you. But focus on closing the core. Everything pulled in? Yes. 10 seconds lower with both. Close the core. Pull it in, keeping that stable foundation the entire time for three, two, and one. Yes, team. All right, stay down on this mat. Probably covered in dust back here. All right, team, so let's take it to a down dog, pigeon. If that is not right for you, you can just take it in the pigeon and hold, and I'll tell you halfway. Or you can just get child's pose up to you, but watch me. One time, down dog. Hold the pigeon. Couple counts and then back. Let's do it in three, two, one. Here we go. Press up, down dog. Hold that stretch. Bring the knee in for pigeon. So you decide how long you want to hold. If you want to hold the down dog or the pigeon for longer, that's okay, too. Keep it up and breathe. Hip stretch, hamstring stretch. That's your halfway point. If you're just stretching with the pigeon, you can switch it. Here, take it up, and here, take it up and breathe. Doesn't have to be perfect, but give yourself a second to try to get into that. Down, dog. Three, two, one. Yes, team. All right. Choose your own adventure. What do you got? Do you want to lunge, twist, and press, kickstand, row. That's what I'm gonna do. Do you want to take it to that pullover crunch, or do you want to do down, dog, pigeon? Up to you. I'm gonna go row and kickstand. I'll cue you at the halfway point, wherever you are, but let's get it done. Zip up that core. Shoulders packed, meaning pulled back in three, two, one. Here we go. So whatever you're doing, lunge, twist, and press, kickstand, and row, pull over, crunch, or down, dog, pigeon. Let's finish it strong. I told you this format goes fast, right? Breathe. Switch your legs right here. Down and up. Yes. Hey, Jody. Gonna do this tomorrow. Go. Oh, to a Brewers game? That sounds fun. Get it done. And up. Three, two, and one. Yes, team. You know what? You know what? I think it's time for a swing. Why not? And you know what? This might be the first swing I've done in this space. I filmed a couple workouts from last for next week, but none of them had swings. All right, team, let's do a swing. Grab your kettlebell or dumbbell or two dumbbells up to you. Remember, you can always just do the deadlift. In fact, everybody start with that. Bring your weight forward, hinge those hips back. You're gonna pull it, and you're gonna power it up with the deadlift. So here, join me here for a few reps. They get a feel. We just lifted that hinge with the kickstand, and then we're going to take it to that swing. Now, if you have one dumbbell, you can do exactly the same with the deadlift or the swing, or you can take it. Two dumbbells. Ski or swing. Go ahead and relax. Let's get set up for that swing. Wrap that core. Remember, you're going to power it up with the back of your legs. Arms are not doing the work. Keeping it about chest level or below. Lots of power. Wrap the core. Shoulders back. Let's take it here. Hinge it. We're powering. 3, 2. Swing or deadlift. 30 seconds. Let it drop. Yes. So much space to swing in. Breathe all the way through. Take it up. Zip up that core, especially at the top. You're gonna stay braced, you're gonna stay tight, but at the top, really connect with the pelvic floor as you Level the glutes and hamstrings. Power. We got 4, 3, 2, 1. And relax. Set it down. Breathe. Grab some water. Team, let's do it again. We got one. One more round. All right, here we go. Still a little dusty in here, but that is okay. All right, team, so one more full round. We're gonna take it. We're gonna start. Breathe. Sorry. Let me adjust the ponytail. All right, team, so we're gonna take it with that knee cross, but with a weight. If you want to add that squat to it, which I'm going to, there's your cardio. All right, so let's go ahead and start with that. Then we're gonna get. Get some strength. Then we're gonna get some core mobility, and then we'll call it a day, maybe. We'll see. All right, so core engage, squat, cross knee, or just cross knee. In three, two, one. Elbows in. Here we go. Take it down. Elbows out. I want you to bring those elbows in as you squat, and then elbows out to cross. Feel what happens when you do that one. We're sneaking in a little shoulders, right? And breathe. Take it in. And here. Yes. Take it down. Hand up. 10 seconds. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. And relax. All right, team, so grab those dumbbells. We're gonna take it. Curtsy, lunge right here. Curl at the top. Curtsy and curl. We'll just. We're just alternating. Let's get it done. Here we go. Curtsy power. So start with this. Then if you want, similar to what we did with that squat and press, you can pulse in the curtsy. Pulse for two, power. Pulse for two, power. Yes, you can. And up. Yes. Low to high. Drive through that heel. Power on that curl. We got 3, 2, 1. And relax down onto that mat with those weights. Team, let's go. One heavy weight or one heavy kettlebell. That's what I'm gonna do because we are gonna do a press, close grip press. So we get triceps right through here as we lower and lift for scissors. So just lock those feet. Squeeze those inner thighs together if you want to. Keep it just right there. Otherwise, let's add the close press for chest and shoulders as well. In three, two, one. Here we go. So press lower. Think about the core positioning. What is happening? What have we been talking about all month? Tilt the pelvis, stack the ribs right over your hips, so you should have that neutral spine. You're not pushed into the ground, but you're not arching. And bring those inner thighs together. We just talked about this in the athletic club. The inner thighs are. Can help you connect to that pelvic floor. So really think about squeezing them together. Feel the difference when you do that, right? 3, 2, 1. And relax. Stay down here, team. All right, let's take it here. Just because we love it. Let's go world's greatest stretch. But we're gonna go tap reach, take it back. So we're gonna alternate between the two. So try to get that plank in between. If you need to go from your knees, that's an option as well. But alternating world's greatest stretch. Get that big stretch up. Mobility starting in 3, 2. Strong core to begin. Here we go. Step it wide. Reach, reach. Now, if the plank is not good for you, you can go one knee or you can take it from a standing position. Maybe that's better for you. Right through here. Step it. Reach you. Do you. Let's finish it out. Oh, look at that clock. I told you this workout was gonna go fast. Take it up. Reach here. Reach. 10 seconds strong in that mobility. 3, 2, 1. And relax. All right, team, this is it. You decide. I'm gonna go press and leg lower. You can, of course, take it with that curtsy lunge to curl for strength. You can take it for our cardio crossing. You can take it for mobility or join me down for core. But we got 40 seconds. Bring it down or up. Find that good core positioning. Whatever you're doing, even if you're not doing core, find that position. Connect with your breath. In three, two, one. Here we go. Pull it in. If you were doing that cardio, really get the power up and cross with that knee all the way through. Bring it up right here. Down and up. Get low on the curtsy. Power with the curl. Breathe mobility. Just get that good stretch. You decide how much you need in that position. We got 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. And relax. Yes. Team up. Onto your feet. All right. How about another swing, right? I think we need it. So many things. Kettlebell or dumbbell or whatever it is you're using. You can do your deadlift, you can do your swing. Whatever it is, let's get one more to get it done. Power it up. Let it drop. Power it up. Lock out of the top. Let it drop. So deadlift or swing, it's still a hinge motion. Power. Hinge and power. Shoulders back. Core engage. Bring it here. Let's Prep it. Power. 3, 2, 1. Let it drop. Locking out of the top. Not hyper extending, not arching your back at the top. Top. Drop the chest a little bit more. If you can do that without rounding in your low back to really help you get that power as you come up. Bring it up, let it drop. Yes. Engage. We got four, three, two, one, and relax. All the way, team. Catch your breath. Quick sip of water if you need it. Look at that clock. I think we have time for a bonus move. Yes. Why not? It's Saturday. Let's do it. All right, team, so it's core month. It's absolution. Let's close it out with some core. Here's what we got. I want you to have one dumbbell or kettlebell, something kind of medium. I want you to take it here. We're gonna do that row. We're gonna pop it back. Do that row. Pop it back. My favorite mountain climber for four, then take it up. Row, Switch it, row. If that is not right for you, I just want you to do the row, switch it here. And then standing climber for four. All right, let's get it done. Don't worry about that clock. I got another one here. Let's do it for 60 seconds. Here we go. Row strong. Switch it. Row strong. Take it back. We got four, three, two. Notice we're getting that mobility from here and back. Run it. 4, 3, 2. Nice and wide for mobility. Strong arms, strong legs here. Run it halfway there. 4, 3, 2, 1. Power. Bring it up. Power. Bring it up. Yes, team, run it. Four, three, two. Last time. Let's finish it out. All the way through. And strong. Run it last time. 4, 3, 2, and relax. Take it back to that child's pose, wherever you are. Yes. I love all mountain climbers, Angela, as you know, stretch it back. Sit back into that child's pose. Oh, man. Karina's saying hi. Hey. Jenny Ryan in the Scottish borders, could us do it before starting May? Thank you, everybody. Stretch it back. Good work. Thank you for joining me to celebrate. So many things to celebrate. Bring it up. If you want to take it to that pigeon. If not, you can just do that 90, 90. But we didn't get to hang out there as much, so take it here. Thank you for celebrating the end of absolution. So much to celebrate. Even if you did all of the workouts or none of the workouts, let's celebrate together because you showed up today. Let's switch that pigeon. It's kind of nice. I can just slide my mat this way. So. Celebrating the end of absolution. Always like to close out our challenges with a celebration. If you are new here, we do a new challenge every month. I put Out a free calendar. Make sure that you get on my email list and you subscribe here to the YouTube channel bring it center to get that calendar. You'll get your links early. Let's roll those shoulders back and get one big, deep breath in and out. You did it. That was your absolution party workout. Great job, everybody. All right, team, I'm gonna adjust this ponytail again that keeps falling. Grab some water. You can hang out and keep stretching with me if you want. If you have any questions, let's put them in the chat Now. I'm gonna grab my computer. Thank you. Mm. I'm okay. I can sit on the floor. All right, team, let me know if you have questions, and I am going to tell you about move. All right, team, so make sure you watch the promo. It's really fun. It's in the new space. We were trying to come up with some fun ways to keep moving in May. Similar to some other months. May can be a really busy month, right? School is winding down for kids. For those of us who are educators, we're gearing up towards summer, we're making plans, there's holidays. So many things to think about. So I know sometimes it's hard to stick to a routine. So we wanted to keep it fun, we wanted to keep it interesting. So our goal is to move through the month of May. That is why our challenge is called Move. And we're going to be moving through the decades. So we have some fun things planned. Every Monday is going to be Remix Monday, where I'm going to going to take one of my original workouts from 2014, 2015, when I very first started the channel. And I'm gonna recreate it in the space. I already did it one this week and I was cursing myself because I was like, why Amy, take a break. You guys often joke about those older videos, how I never slow down, different style of teaching. But I'm gonna recreate it in here. I'm gonna add a few things just to put bit little, a little spin on it. But it is going to be a fun time for all of us. And then on Fridays we're gonna have Flashback Friday. So moving through the decades, we are going to take an old format, one of our classic fitness formats and I'm going to recreate it in here. You saw my Instagram stories, you saw that I just did Jazzercise, which we're going to do next week from the 70s and 80s. So all of these workouts are going to be inspired by these classic fitness formats. We're going to get some 80s aerobics and toning. We are going to get abs and buns of steel and we're going to get some Taebo. Anybody remember that? Then on our Saturday bonus workouts, which most will be live except for next week's, will be pre recorded. It is going to be a workout party. So we're gonna go 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s. And you certainly can show up and in costume if you want because I will be in costume. And we're going to take some of the formats from those decades and tie them all into a workout party. So get excited about all of that. It is going to be so much fun. It's going to be a really fun month. It's going to be a really different month, but at the same time you still are going to get your workout calendar that has your strength, your cardio, your mobility. A lot of the things that we always do are going to be in this calendar if we're just adding a few little extras. So. All right, team, so let me know if you have any questions about that. Also, if you go to studio bodyfitbyamy.com or if you just go to the Body Fit by Amy website, if you're looking to join the Body Fit Athletic Club, which we would love for you to, because again, that's where you get all your extras. We have a fun thing on the website right now where when you click, you're going to spin the wheel and you get to get a chance at pretty amazing discounts. The wheel will spin and then it's gonna stop on a discount for you. So check that out. At least go check it out because it's really fun to watch. But now it's, it's a good time as we gear up into Summer Fit, which if you've been around the last couple years, we do our summer Fit program, which is a three month program, but we break them all out and we have lots and lots of fun things coming up for that. All right, team, so let's see what we got. All right, team, so I think let's see what happened to the prior workout space. Angela. Okay, so the one on this property of our house will eventually have to be torn down per the city. So in order to build this space, which we built at the back of our backyard, we will have tear. Have to tear down our existing garage. So, but you know, as much as I, it's gonna be sad because we have so many memories in that space. For Bodyfit by Amy. It's gonna be good because it'll give us a lot more room in our backyard and I'll be sad to not have the storage, but hopefully we can put some stuff in here, right? We don't really even use it as storage right now because it's a, it's a gym. So. Yes, Gene says my mother used to play piano live for Jazzercise. Oh my gosh. That looks like so much fun. Listen y', all, as I was research researching for this, if you are familiar with Jazzercise, the woman who created it, look her up. Her name is Judith. She, it is still around and it has been around for 50 years. They're a franchise. They have evolved with the exercise times and they've included a lot more things like hit and strength and toning. But she is still teaching. She started it in 1969. She's still teaching. She runs the company with her daughter. So my workout is obviously not their choreography, but it is a tribute, and it is inspired by them. One of the pioneers, if you don't know it. I think Jane Fonda and Richard Simmons get all the credit. Excuse me. I told you guys the dust in here, but she was really the original dance fitness, so. All right, let's see. Oh, Charlotte's gonna be away. She's gonna be working body weight and bands mostly. There's actually going to be a lot of that. So I think you'll be good. And we can talk through that. Charlotte. Awesome. Oh, Linda reminded me of my mom years ago when she used to go to Jazzercise. I love it. That was the thing that all the moms did. Right? All right, Jamie. I think the home improvement stores have rentals for commercial. Oh, that's what we need. We actually have. Because we live in California and we have fires and things like that. We have air purifiers, the smaller ones in every room in our house. Maybe we need to bring them all out here. That is a good point. Yeah. Mostly it's just been cleanup. This was a big project here. We hired an artist to do it. I'm going to post a video later of a time lapse of that because it's really cool to watch. But most of it is just, you know, it's construction that. That we've been working on for a year, so. Oh, Mary Ellen. I have a friend who lives for Jazzercise. I did it with her while traveling this summer. Oh, fine. I know. You know, it's one of those things that, you know, I always say this, and we talk about this in the Body Fit Athletic Club of. You know, I could tell you this is exactly the way to get results. Everybody needs this kind of strength and this kind of cardiovascular training and this. This kind of mobility, and this is what you have to do. But at the end of the day, if you don't stay consistent with it, then it's not worth it. So to me, it's finding the workouts that get you excited, or at least not dreading your workouts, the workouts that are convenient for your lifestyle, for the time range, for what you like to do, for what you have available to you. That is what it's about. That's why my whole thing is, yes, I'm going to tell you, you, why you need strength, why you need to go heavy, why you need core training. But at the end of the day, just show up and keep moving. The reason I say that is because that is what it is about. We just need to move our bodies. And so I love things like jazzercise and Zumba and a lot of those formats that. Yeah, I could tell you, oh, you can't just do that. You got to be doing other things. But if that's the thing that gets you moving every day, it's worth it to me. I love it. Then that is a win in my book. So Glory used to do Taebo. I know, right? And old school aerobics. That is gonna be a lot of fun. So let's see. Yes. Olivia Newton John, right? Charlotte. I love how Kai blended in with the wall with his camouflage today. I love that. I didn't even think about that. But he will be thrilled. He'll be thrilled. He just got those camouflage pajamas. Pajamas. If you guys don't know, my kids live in their pajamas when they're at home. I don't know why. I mean, I do know. Why wouldn't we all do that? I basically just live in workout clothes, which is, you know, often the same. All right, team. So let's see. Any other questions? For me, Mary Ellen still has the Billy Blanks vhs. Listen, Billy Blanks is another pioneer. When I do that workout, it will also be a tribute to him because he was the first one to really put cardio kickboxing into mainstream fitness. Before that, we were doing aerobics, but nobody was really doing boxing. And he packaged it in a way that just took off. So he was the original. He's also still teaching. I think he's in la, so I try to. I should try to find him. But he's also still teaching. But he was the first. First one to really do that format. And then all of a sudden, everybody did cardio kickboxing, right? And now it's still huge. And now we're into more, you know, like, boxing for fitness, but more like you're in the ring. Right. So I. It's been. It's fun this month. This is also things that we're talking about a lot in the Body Fit Athletic Club. The history of fitness, what we've learned, what works, what doesn't. As we talk about this all the time, with fitness and nutrition, things are all always evolving. That is how science works. So as we learn more, we do better, we change things up. So we're going to talk about the way fitness has evolved over the years and nutrition as well. So. Excellent. Lori, do. Doing your calendar, is that good enough or do you do More. So you know, for me it's one of my goals in this new space is to do some more workouts that, that are just for me. Right. Because there's a lot of value in that. Most of what I'm doing is filming workouts for you all. But I also have a Bowflex resistance bike. You see me, I posted about that on my Instagram. I also have tonal where I can go a little heavier. So I would love if I could do more. What I do do is try to get some things like getting outside hiking, some other things that could be just for me. We've talked about that a lot recently, recently in the Athletic Club too, about if you're feeling overwhelmed, if you're feeling in a slump, mix it up. I love that you guys love to follow the calendar and that is what it's there for to keep you in that routine. But you might need to take some time and just get outside. You might need to take some time and do what Mary Ellen did and go to a jazzercise class with a friend. Right? There are ways to get you out of that slump. If you're just feeling a little burnout or tired as we all get sometimes, feel free to mix it up. So, so mostly what I'm doing is making these workouts for you. I think for the average person that is more than enough. That is enough to keep you in a routine. But certainly you can add more. Another thing we talk about in the Athletic club is your calendar in the Athletic Club has bonus burns, 10 minute add ons which are a great way to get a little extra if you have that time or if you don't have that time, you can add those in instead of the main workout. So those, those are certainly options that could be good for you. Let's see. All right, I can't get it to come up on here. What did I miss? Ah, Charlotte's going to do the extended cool down 98 workouts this year. Oh my gosh, that's amazing. Charlotte, I'm so proud of you. Ah, Jack lalanne, Mary Ellen, listen, his wife is still alive. We're going to be talking about him in the Athletic Club. He is considered the father of American fitness. One of the ones who really made it mainstream. His, his wife who is Elaine Lalanne, she is still alive. She is probably close to 100 and she still posts on her social media I'm sure with some help with, with from some people where she still gets out and walks and is moving. So yes, Jack LaLanne, Elaine LaLanne. I remember doing that with my mom. I love it. All right, team Jang Fonda. Yes. Yes, Lillian. All right, guys, so move starts on Monday again. I think if you haven't joined us in the athletic club, now would be a good time to check it out because it is going to be really fun month. The other thing that I'm going to be talking about in Vivian too is fitness through your decades. Right. So do we need to adjust things as we're working out in our 20s and our 30s and our 40s and our 50s and our 60s and beyond? Yes, to a degree. Now, does that mean that you have to slow down or stop doing the things you love? No, but there are some things that we need to think about throughout those decades, especially as it comes to what's happening in our bodies. Muscle deterioration, sacrapenia, bone density, all of those things. There are certainly a lot of things that we can be aware of. But of course, you can keep doing bodyfit by Amy throughout your entire lifespan. But we're going to be talking about that. Vivian's going to be talking about diet culture over the years, different diet trends and nutrition through your decades as well. So join us in the athletic club again. If nothing else, just go to the website and spin that wheel because it's, it's fun and you might get an amazing discount. You'll get some sort of discount. So little insider tip, it says that you might not, but you will. All right, team, thank you so much. Shani. Yes, Loving the student. Getting stronger each and every day. So proud of you. You should be so proud of yourself. All right, team, we're gonna sign off here, but I will see you on Monday for move and we will start up our move through the decades next Saturday. We don't have a live workout, but there will be a pre recruited, pre recorded workout for you that will get released the night before. I'll make sure that I post it on my socials and in the groups as well. That will be our 70s workout party. And get excited because I'm gonna be wearing some 70s gear. All right, thank you, Tamika. Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate that so much. Mel. Excited for the next challenge, Charlotte. Have a great weekend, everybody. All right, team, signing off here. I will see you next time. See you on Monday for move.
