Thank you, Kai. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Okay, go on. Okay, Go on it. Go on it. All right, so we are going to get it done. Let's. Maya, should we do our intro? Okay, so I'm Amy from Bodyfit, by Amy from Body Fit, by Maya. All right. And we're gonna do a workout. Okay? Okay. All right. All right. Karina is here. It's okay. Yeah. He's gonna go take care of Bingo. All right, so we're gonna go ahead and start getting our warm. Okay? Okay. No fighting. All right, we're gonna go ahead and start doing our warmup. All right? Can we go ahead and march Alexis's daughter, Kirsten. She's seven. Happy birthday, Kirsten. Kai is also seven. Right. So, okay. Okay. Okay. You're good, you're good, you're good. Okay, thank you. All right, everybody just start moving your feet, rolling your shoulders. There we go. Yes. We are twinning today. Maya picked out our outfits. We do have matching outfits with these fabletics bottoms, but we could not find the top. So we know it's there. And then take them to the front. Here we go. All right. How about we get one arm right through here? One arm to the back. Just go. Yep, just like that. And then switch your direction. And then. Yep. And then we'll get your other arm. Big mobility. Yes. And then take it here. Do you see daddy over there dancing with the music? Open your arms. Here. Okay. Okay. Hey, can you go get him, please? All right, let's step out right here. Side to side. I know. Here, can you step out? Big arms. Here we go. Right there in front of you. There we go. Side to side. He's dancing right now. Daddy, who's running all the things. He's running the sound, he's running the music, he's running the video, and he's watching the kids and the dog. Right? Okay, can we put our hands here and just stretch our backs? There we go. Melissa. Hello. Hello. All right, Kai, don't put that dog down, okay? I seriously know. All right. All right. Guess what, guys? We're really back live. It's all live. Okay, let's roll through our hips. Okay, Roll your hips. Yep. And then watch me, Maya, let's do a little inchworm. So you stand there. We're going to inchworm out. If you don't want to do that, you can just take it to a hinge or take it to your knees and then walk it back just like this right through here and take it up. Let's keep doing that. Just a few. Okay. Walk it out. Warming up through our back. And then walk it back. Yes. Let's get one more. There we go. And then walk it back. Put one foot forward. Drop it down. Right here if you can. Big stretch. World's greatest stretch. You can drop your knee. You can move your arm. Sometimes that happens, right? World's greatest stretch. Little rotation. There we go. Ah. And then let's switch our legs. I think everybody else probably feels like you, Maya. It's kind of hard to get in this position, right? Take it up and then reach through. Drop the knee. There we go. Good job. Right through there. She was insistent on doing the whole thing today, so we'll see how it goes. All right, team, go ahead and bring it up. Okay. Yep. Come on up. Coming up. We're gonna tap and reach across. Here we go. Stretch nice and long. Let's go over our head. All right, so if you're just jumping in, Candace and Gus are here. Can you say hi to Candace and Gus? Hello. All right, so happy to see you. Ready to party. Let's bring our hamstrings up to the back just like this. So we're getting it done today, party style. So our circuits are going to be four moves, a cardio, a strength, a mobility, just for fun, because we all need it. Let's bring our knees up right here. And then we have choose your own adventure. So your last round of each circuit is whatever you want. It could be literally whatever you want, but it can also be one of those first three, whatever you need more of. If you need more mobility, more cardio, more strength. Maya and I will be mixing it up. All right, so let's go ahead and grab. No, let's start with a little cardio. All right, Maya, you know this one, we're gonna do our knees up right like this. And if you want to make it, you can add a little twist in between. Remember this move. Whoever did cardio party this week, right? We can do knees, we can do a little twist, but we got 40 seconds of work starting now, right here. So cardio. We got our knees. Yep. And then if you want twist, twist, twist, knee, right? Maya loves the twist. There we go. Getting that heart pumping. Twist, twist, twist, knee. Yes. There we go. We got 15 seconds. Good one. Paula is here. Natalie with Logan. Ready to party. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. High five. All right, so with your next move, I want you to grab your weight, so you're gonna grab your weights. All right, team, so let's go with something heavy. You got it. Watch me here. We're gonna take it with our deadlift and then down and then all the way up. All right, here we go. We got deadlift, row down and all the way up. Yep. And if you want to do it without your weights, you can down and up. Yep. You can just keep them down right in front. You're so strong. Down. And she likes the overhead press. Don't worry. It's coming. Just keep them right in front of your legs. Right through here. Down. And then pull your elbows up. I know it's kind of hard to do, right? Take it down. Row. There we go. One more and relax. Okay, Set them to the side. All right, so we're gonna get a mobility. Watch me here. Arms out, legs out. We're gonna sit low, hands on the ground. Extend your legs up. Take it down. Reach it up. We love this one because we get the squat and the hinge. So at the bottom, you can have your hands on your legs or the floor to take it up. Here we go. Sit low, Hands on the ground of your legs. Extend. Extend up through the legs. Stretch your back. Back down. Reach and up. Yes. So I'm gonna show it this way. Take it here. Extension. Stretch it out. Big reach. So especially at the top, Reach those arms up so we get that good mobility here. Reach. Yes. Take it down. Take it here. Stretch. Good. All right, we made it to the end. So this time, you pick. You can do your Knees. You can do your deadlift and your row or you can take it to that stretch. What should we do? Should we do knees? All right, let's get it done. Choose your own adventure. Have fun with it. Party round in 3, 2, 1. Mayan and I are just gonna do our knees right. Do we want to add the twist or just keep the knees? Just keep the knees right. Because what's. What do we say if you don't. If you don't want to do it this way? What? You do your own, right. She's learning. Maya and I did film a couple Mommy and Me Maya and Me workouts the other day because she's been begging to do them. So if you got littles at home, and even if you don't get excited about those workouts coming up. Yeah, see, you can do your own thing. Yes. Five, four, three, two, one. Yes. High five. All right, grab a sip of water. Here we go. And we're gonna go in to round two. Good work. I just spilled. That's okay. All right, team, so going into round two, go ahead and just tap it out. Whatever you want to do to keep moving. We're gonna go into our cardio, and just like that, we're gonna take it to our skater, because, you know, I love a good skater. So we're gonna tap behind. Yep. So that's gonna be our cardio. When we grab our strength, because Maya loves it, we're gonna do a squat and a press. You can go kettlebell or dumbbell, whatever you want. I can do it? Yeah, you can do it and reach. Yep. And then when we get to our mobility, we're gonna do a down dog to plank. So get excited about that. I'll give you options. All right, so starting with our skater, step, tap behind. You decide what speed you want. Ready? Here we go. Yep. Step, tap, behind, step. So you can take it slow, you can take it fast. Whatever you need if you're here. If you're more of that jump, Watch your partner. Watch your partner. There we go. Side to side. You can be with Maya or you can be with me. A little more of a hop. There we go. Up to you. Oh, Erica has her puppy with her. Oh, so cute. Even though we can't see your puppy side to side, we got 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. All right, grab your weights. You can have one weight. Why don't you get one weight, Maya? We'll go one heavy weight. So can you just have one? If you want to have two, you can. Or kettlebell. But going to sit Low. In the squat, we're going to press up strong. Are we ready? Here we go. Sit low, press up. There we go. Take it down and press. Really get low. And if it starts to get too heavy, you can just do it like this, Right? You can do no weight or here, but sit. Press up strong. So use your squat to drive up out of those legs to give you that support for your press. Right. Also, cardio heart rate gets up. Breathe down and up. Oh, Jess is here. She's eating lunch, but she's gonna do it later. Can you say hi, Owen? 3, 2, 1. Set your weight to the the side. Now we're gonna get a little mobility, so watch me. We're gonna go. Yep. Clean it up. We're gonna go down dog to plank. If that is not right for you, you can just go child's pose up to all fours. All right? Either one is fine. Here we go. Yep. Right, so press up in that down dog. Okay? And then slowly, slowly down to plank. So, yes, we're getting core in too. So I really want you to think this stretch. Press those heels down, but your core is controlling the motion. Right? Maya's going all the way into up dog. So if you want to do that too, you can down dog to plank or down dog to up dog. But think about your core stabilizing the entire time. And as you lift up in that down dog. Yes. Press. She's gonna act like a dog. Press up, but also use your core. Oh, you're a dolphin. Oh. Three, two, one. She's a walrus. Oh, why didn't we think of that in our animal workout? All right, bring it up. So you pick. You can do a down dog to plank. You can do squat and press. That's what I'm gonna do. Or you can do the skater. Or you could do. Or you could do the walrus like Maya. All right, so I'm gonna do. You're gonna do walrus. Okay. Maya's gonna do the walrus. I'm gonna do the squat and the press. Let's get it done. 40 seconds. Here we go. And you can make a walrus sound. Just you. It is your workout. Be where you are today. You know where Maya is. She's a walrus. Down. Press it up nice and strong. So sit low in that squat. Drive up and in. Yes, team. Whoo. Breathe. 10 seconds. Wall risk. 10 seconds. All the way through. Three, two, one. Erica says she's not. She's glad she's not the only one who says, wait for me. All right, team, Grab a sip of water. All right, round two. Look at that moving fast. High five. All right, team, so this next round, if you have your mini bands, grab them. If you don't, no big deal. But if you've got a band here, Maya, you want this one? You want. Okay, you want the red one? All right, let me grab a different one then. All right, how about you have a pink? All right, so put your band above your knees. Right through here. All right, so our cardio is just going to be a little side shuffle. So you can make it small steps or you. Yeah, just like that. Or a little shuffle step. You can get low in the squat if you want more legs, or you can keep it a little higher. And if you don't have the band, you just do a side step or a shuffle. Whatever you feel most comfortable with. Whatever you have available to you. 40 seconds. You go in front of me. Okay, here we go. Side step shuffle. Yep. Kind of like what you do in ballet class, right? You do it like this. And again, if you want to get a little more legs. There we go. There we go. Keep it low. Yep. And if it drops to your ankles, just be careful with it. Can you pull it up above your knees? Cardio and leg burn. Yes. Yeah, that works. Three, two, one. All right, I want you to keep it on. I want you to come down on your back with your weights. All right, so, Maya, watch me grab your weights. You're going to come down to here. We're going to do a chest press with a bridge. So either dumbbells or one kettle bell, with or without the band, you're. There it is. All right, so you're up and out with your band. You're pressing up strong. If you don't have the band, go ahead. Come on down. Come on down here. Come down right through here. Here, I'll lay next to you. Okay. Okay. All right, so here we go. I'll help you in just a minute. Feet up. Press up in the bridge. Press up in the press. Here we go. Up and down. Yeah, There you go, Maya. Oh, a little heavy. All right, you guys keep going. Do you want to just do one? Why don't you show them how to just do what. There we go. Straight up and down. There we go. Up and down. Keep doing that press up and in. So if you're like, Maya, you may have to switch to just one dumbbell. That's okay, too. You still feel your arms, right? And if you don't want to do the bridge, you don't have to but you can up and out and down. Why don't you just do the motion? Yes. Good job, Maya. That's a great way. That's a great way to modify if you need it. You just do no weight right through here and here. All right, everybody stay down. Take your band off. We are going to get a little dead bug for our mobility. And, yes, we're sneaking in core as well. So here's your dead bug. Watch me, Maya. Arms and legs one, and then the other one arm goes out while the other leg goes out. Let's get it done for 40 seconds. Here we go. So extend. If that is not right for you, you can keep one foot. Foot on the ground and just do the arms or both feet on the ground. But if you can, I want you to really think about wrapping that core. Yep. You can just do a little march with your feet like. Maya, Maya, look in the. Look in the monitor. Look. See what I'm doing? Look on the. On the tv. Can you do that? There you go. Yeah. Making sure that you're not arching your back. Really think about zipping up in the core. That's why we love the dead bug, because it's such a good mobility move, because we're getting that stretch arms and legs. But that core has to really work to stabilize. 3, 2, 1. Hug your knees in. All right, do we want to do that shuffle again? All right, so you can stay down for the dead bug. No shuffle. Okay, what do you want to do? You want to do the dead bug again? Okay, you find an animal, you do a walrus. All right, so you pick. You can do shuffle with the band, you can do chest press and bridge, or you can do dead bug, or you can do a walrus. All right, team, Here we go. 3, 2. Don't step on the walrus. Take it side to side. Up to you. If you want to move those arms, you can. Even if you want to add a little punch. Love that. With my shuffle. Yes. Can the walrus go one side to the other, or you do a bear crawl? There we go. Keep it moving, whatever you're doing. If you're doing that chest press and bridge up strong, press out with the knees. You got that dead bug. Really lengthen to get the mobility. Stabilize to get your core. There you go. We go. Keep it moving. I think we got 10 seconds. I kind of didn't wo see the clock on that one. Five, four, three, two, one. Grab some water. Good job, walrus. All right. Oh, now you're a doggy. Okay, it's Hard to keep up. Grab a sip of water, T. All right, you know what? I think we should add in a little kettlebell swing. If you have a kettlebell. Maya, we're gonna use a dumbbell. Okay, Maya and I are going to use a dumbbell. So one weight in the center. Remember, you can always start with that deadlift. That deadlift that we did with the row here to here. Yep, just that. Okay, so hold it here. So everybody prep with just this. It's just that hinge motion. Weight in the center. Just bend forward, drive your hips back. Yes. And then if you want, you can take it to the swing. I'm going to turn this way. All right, watch me. Maya, you're going to swing. You're going to power it up just like that. Yes. You got to hang on to it. Okay. All right, team, let's do it. 30 seconds of a swing. Hinge it. Kettle bell or dumbbell or deadlift. Three, two, one, Power. There we go. Yeah, that's perfect. Or you can. You can drop the weight and just do your arms. You want to just do your arms? Yes. Good. Makes me feel better. Good. If you want to just do body weight like Maya, just watch her. That's a good option too. Yes. Or you can. Why don't you be a butterfly? Can be butterfly. You can also be a butterfly. We got 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Catch your breath, team. All right, grab a sip of water. A little stretch right here. Yes. Water. All right, I think we got one more full round. We'll see how it goes. All right, what should we do for cardio? What do you think? You want to do butterfly? All right, so you can either do a butter. Okay. Maya's gonna show you how to do butterfly, or you can do a good old jumping jack. It's totally up to you. Whatever you want. Butterfly or jack. Let's get 40 seconds. Watch those weights. Here we go. Take it up here. Or run around like a butterfly. Watch the weights. Okay. Good, good, good, good, good. Ha. Here we go. Butterfly or jack. You do you what is best for you in this moment. Maybe you're gonna have more fun with the butterfly. Maybe that's what you need at this part of the workout. Or you could do this. Yep, exactly. But we got 10 seconds right here. Yes. Or you could be a slow butterfly. Right. 5, 4, 5, 3, 2, 1. And relax. All right, team, grab your weights. We're going to get a lunge and a curl. All right? So grab your weights. I'm gonna grab mine right here. Where'd that Other one. Go. Oh, right here. All right, so we're gonna lunge it back, reverse lunge. If you got it, you got yours? Yep. So you hold yours between two hands, and we're gonna curl. So you decide if it's better for you to lunge and then curl at the top or if you want to put them together. You want to try two, or you want to do one? Okay, you try two. All right, we got 40 seconds. Reverse lunge and curl. You can either curl at the bottom or curl at the top. Here we go. Yep, here. Good, Maya. And here. Right through there. Yes. All right, you want to try one? How about you put just one down? This is your option for one right here. Good. And back. You want to try? No weights. You want to just do your arms? Okay. You keep going, then you're doing it. Yes. Good work, baby. We got 10 seconds. Make it good. Three, two, one. Can you throw it? No, we never throw weights. Set your weights down. We got our cardio. We got our strength. We got our mobility. How about we get a little cat, cow with a little bear crawl? So we're here, team. I want you to roll through your back, cat to cow. And then we're gonna walk forward. And here. Cat, cow, walk back. So again, sneaking in a little core. If you just want to get the cat, cow, cow. That works too. Are we ready? Here we go. Round, through. Cat to cow. Really working through the spine. Then lift those knees forward for two. Round. Lift those knees. Take it back for two. Yes. Good job, kitty. Round and up. Get the core working. Get the mobility. Take it back. There we go. Round it up. Yes, I see you. And here, let's get one more each way. Round it up. Roll it through. Last one up. Okay, and back. Stretch, stretch it back. Yes. Team. All right. Choose your own adventure. What do you want? You want to say doing the kitty? All right, Maya's gonna do the kitty. I'm gonna do the lunge and the curl. Choose your own adventure for this last rep, this last set, in this last circuit here. Okay? We'll do a pose when we're done doing our workout. Everybody will do that. All right, team, here we go. Lunge and curl. I'm gonna watch this kitty. Here we go. You got 40 seconds. Whatever you need in this moment. If you want a cat, cow like Maya or lunge and curl with me, or what do we do? Oh, butterfly. That's right. You want to do the butterfly? Butterfly or jumping jacks for your cardio. Cardio. Keep it moving, team. Yes. I know Sometimes those leggings slide down, right? Yep. Let's figure out where they need to be. That's all right. Ten seconds. Right there. That's right. Energized. I'm feeling energized. I don't know about you. We got three, two, one, and relax. All right, team, you know what? I think we should do another swing. What do you think? You want to do yours? Maya, how about you do yours with the band like this? All right, you do the band. I'm gonna break out my kettlebell. You can have kettlebell or dumbbells. All right, you face the front. Ready? All right, so we're gonna hinge it. We're gonna swing it. You can do a dead lift if you'd rather. We got 30 seconds. You got the band over your head if you got the band, but not over your head if you gotta wait. All right, ready? Here we go. Three, two, one. Power it up. Yes. Good job, Maya. Locking out at the top. Zip up that core. Yep. Or if you want to do your own, do your own, right? That is the rule. We just want to show up and move our bodies. Right. Or if this is easier for you. That's right. We got 10 seconds. Keep it going. Push into those feet. Lock out at the top. Three, two, one. And relax. Good. Yes. High five. All right, you know what? I think we got time for what we call a bonus move. What do you think? Yes. All right, so let's do a bonus move. You know what we need is we need a little triceps. All right, so, Maya, you get your band again. Oh, okay. Here you get your band again. You're gonna do band. I'm gonna do weights one way here, too. Over your head, side knee, side knee. Down all the way up. So over your head, triceps, side knee, side knee. Then drop it low. Power it up. If you want to make that a snatch, you can, but you want to end up in that position right up here. All right, so you can do two dumbbells or one. I'm gonna start with two, then I'm gonna take it to one. All right, can you. No, don't put that in your mouth. Off, please. All right, here we go. Team. We got 60 seconds. This is the end of this workout. You pick whatever version of that is good for you. In three, two, one. Here we go. So over your head. Oh, that's heavy. Side knee, side knee. All the way down, all the way up. Right here behind your head. Side knee, side knee. Take it down. I'm gonna switch to one Take it up. Or you could do it like Maya, right? You do you. It's your workout. Behind your head, side, side. If you want to go in your house with your daddy, go in the house with your daddy. Although he's back out here, Right? Take it down, take it up. Triceps, side, side. So we want to go here. You want to add a little jump. You can. You can keep it going. 10 seconds. Triceps, core, lower cardio. Here we go. Boom, Boom. Last one. Three, two, one. Boom. We did it. High five. High five. All right, grab some water, everybody. Ha. Yes. Cheers. There we go. Thank you so, so much for joining us today. All right, Maya, let's get a little. Let's get a little cool down. What do you think? Here we go. So just do some little taps in front. Right through there. Yes. Yeah, we're done, but we gotta get a little stretch. And then maybe we're gonna hang out and talk to people. But you don't have to. You can go in with daddy. All right, Roll those hips. Oh, you want to talk to people. Okay, so let's take our hands right on front. Chin to your chest. You can get a little round here. Little stretch. Yeah. Or. Or go in a circle up top. Take it over to the side. Good work, everybody. Thank you for showing up with us today. Was. Whoa, careful. All right. Was hoping this would get you energized. I know it kept me on my toes because I had to lead a workout and watch a four year old stretch right here. Maya, look, one leg out. You stretch. Lean into it. Oh, careful. Silly. All right. Right through here. Yes. Okay. Okay. Other side. Yes. Shelly says it's the perfect amount of weights for me today. I've been running and not lifting enough, so this is a good way to get back in. Yes. I'm sorry. So glad you guys know. I know we have a lot of runners in the group. We talk about this a lot in the BodyFit Athletic Club. All right, my hand on the wall. Hand on the wall. And let's get a little quad stretch. If you can't get your foot all the way up, just tilt it forward. Yep, there we go. So if you're a runner, you're someone who does something else. Maybe you play tennis, maybe you're in training for an event, a cyclist, something like that. I always say, prioritize the strength days of the calendar. You do need to make sure you're getting that curl. Cross training. Switch your side. Shelly knows this because you want to get. You want to make sure that you're strengthening your muscles that you're working in all planes of motion. Right. All right, Maya, here, let's hold our hands. Let's sit right here. If you have a partner, you can go here. Otherwise, we can just sit. Yeah, A little stretch. Otherwise, just fold over into. Oh, Courtney. Hello. Hello. She loves our matching outfits. Maya picked them out. Okay. Little stretch. Whoa. Whoa. All right, since we're down here, let's cross our foot over right there. Charlotte says you're a champ. So hard for my four to have your own ones to work out with me. That's easy, right? But maybe you want to bring it up a little more. I know it's not easy, but listen, kids, watch what we do. So it's easy. Easy lemon squeezy. So Maya has been begging me to do these workouts. And yes, I know kids want to be like their parents. So cute. Because I know that doesn't last. But everybody sees what you do, whether it's your children, whether it's your spouse, whether it's your co workers, your friends. They see you showing up for yourself and your health, and they are inspired by that. Or you could do cross crab walk. That's right. Oh, man. All right. Yes. Shelly says she knows if I only do cardio, my body doesn't look as good, and I just don't feel as good. That's right. Yep. Or you could do an umbrella. Yeah. The strength training is really what is going to get that body recomposition. But again, because running is a similar. A repetitive motion. Same thing with cycling. Same thing with a lot of sports. Such a good idea to make sure you're training in all planes of motion and you're strengthening those joints and tendons around those muscles. That's your little kitty. All right, team, take it across. Roll through. Thank you so much, Megan. Oh, good to see you. Your regimens are the best. Physical and mental health. Oh, I love it. That is what it is about, right? Physically, we want to be strong and healthy, but mentally as well. I know I need this, too. And honestly, guys, I needed this. I missed interacting with you guys. You're trying to. I know. Summer gets a little. Okay, kitty, come sit in my lap. So summer gets a little crazy because of schedules and travel and all the things. And I know everything was feeling a little low energy for us, too, so we had to bring it back for a live workout so we can bring back the energy. If you're not following the energized calendar, you can grab it below. Get on our email list. And I'm going to talk more about that right after this. If you can hang out, we'll chat for a bit. Let's get one big deep breath in. Stand up, stand up, stand up. Here we go. One big deep breath in. Oh, there we go. In who and out. Can you say you did it, you did it. That was your happy Saturday. That was your energized kickoff party workout. Great job, everybody. Saturday morning say good job, Logan. Oh, and Jennifer has. Jennifer's four year old has a birthday today. You're four too, right? Happy birthday to your four year old. To your little guy. Thank you, Carmela. Everybody says way to go, Maya. All right. Okay, so if you want to hang out with us for a few minutes, if you have any questions, put them in. Otherwise I'm going to tell you a little bit about what is coming up. All right, so the energized calendar. We are on the second month of our energy of our summer fit. You don't have to do every month. Listen, it's meant to be something that you can come in and out of if you can stay consistent. That's the goal. But we know that we have a lot going on in the summer. So if you didn't do activate or you haven't done the regular calendar, feel free to jump in. Right now we are on energize. That's our second month for July. Four weeks of fun workouts short. Keep your heart rate up, get your muscles working and have a good time doing it. Paula, thank you so much. Say hi, Naomi. That's Paula's little girl. Yeah, I have a Naomi in the blue room. Oh, she has a Naomi in her preschool class. Right. All right, Lou, haven't been able to join a live before. Really enjoyed it. Thank you. Thank you. It's evening here. Just squeeze it in before dinner. Yes, you must be across the pond. Thank you so, so much for joining us. So if you are new to this, we used to do lives every Saturday for a long time, like three years. And we're taking a little bit of a break from doing them regularly. But we will be bringing them back maybe, maybe once a month or so and incorporating some lives during the week, especially as we get into the fall. So make sure that you're subscribed here to the YouTube channel. Not only will you get those notifications, but also that helps me out, that helps us reach more people. So if you can subscribe, like the videos, comment on the videos, all of that helps us get out there, get more people moving. What? That's a fake cry. All right, Jody joining in for the chat while she makes lunch. Hi, Jody. So happy Saturday, Alozia. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, what? Oh, do you want to go in with Daddy? No. Okay. All right. Can you say hi to Paige? Say hi, Paige. Paige is two. She's working out with Mariah. Mariah, so good to see you. All right, so Erica has a question. Any insight into cycle period tracking workouts? I've heard some workouts should be done based on where you are in your cycle. All right, guys, so this is something that we have talked about pretty extensively in the Body Fit Athletic Club. Both Vivian and I both have in terms of nutrition and fitness. It is super trendy right now, right? Cycle tracking or cycle workouts. And there is something to it. There actually is some research behind it. It's very fairly new. Another thing that we talk about in the Athletic Club is that for many years and this still we're getting better about this. But a lot of research in the fitness field and just in the research field in general was not done on women because of that. Because we have a period, because we have hormone fluctuations throughout our life. It's a confounding variable, right? Not fair. Seems like all the more reason we should be researching women. But a lot of that is changing and a lot of that is revolving around hormone fluctuations, whether that's during our cycle, whether that's during menopause, pre and postnatal. Obviously, you know, I work in, so it's emerging. There's a lot coming out. Here's what I would say for now. I would not worry about it too much in terms of, oh, at this point, you know, we talk about the. When you're ovulating, we talk about the luteal phase. There's different phases of your cycle, meaning the whole 28 day cycle. But what I would say is really helpful. What I have, some of my Body Fit Elite clients, which are my one on one coaching clients do, is tracking how you feel in your cycle and how you feel in your workouts. All right, so what that can be is. And what we found, especially with those clients is that, you know, maybe at this point in their cycle, they're feeling super low energy and they had a really hard time with the heavy weights. So they switched it up like this is day, you know, 21 of my cycle. I know that I'm feeling this way. So instead of this workout, I'm going to do this workout. So what I recommend is to not worry too much about it, not get too into it, because everybody is different. You might find a workout plan that's like, this is geared towards your cycle, but is it geared towards your cycle or everybody's cycle? So I would say tracking how you feel those days in your workouts, if you can get a calendar, an app, whatever it is, and then see seeing the consistencies. Seeing. Okay, yep, yep. Okay. Seeing how you feel in your workouts at certain times. And if you see a pattern, then adjusting your workouts to that. Okay. But we have talked about this pretty extensively in the athletic Club. If you want to join us there, that would be a great time. We would love to see you there. Vivian and I have talked about it before, and we plan to talk about it again. So thank you, Tamika. Happy, happy birthday. Forties are amazing. I'm already there. I'm already there. And let me tell you, they're awesome. Welcome, welcome, Tameka. Say happy birthday, Tamika. Happy birthday, Mika. Okay. All right. Jennifer, so good to see you. She said great job, Maya. All right, everybody, Alicia is here in love the live, especially with Maya. Oh, are you so tired now? We should probably go have breakfast. Okay. You take a little sleepy. All right, team, does anybody have any other questions if you do put them in? That's a great question. Thank you for asking about that. Because it's super trendy right now. But again, I would say figure out what is specific to you. That is often the answer. Right? Anybody who says, and Vivian and I say this all the time in the athletic Club, when it comes to fitness and nutrition, there is not a one size fits all. So anybody who says this is the way and the only way, don't listen to them. Right? But if we say, let's figure out what's specific to you, maybe I can help you. Maybe I can offer some suggestions. Maybe other people can say, this worked for me. Maybe we can tell you the science behind it. That's where you want to be. But there's not a one size fits all. There are certain things that we know. Everybody should move their body. Everybody needs to eat more plants. Everybody needs to drink more water, don't smoke, make sure you're getting resistance training. Make sure you're getting your heart rate up, make sure you're getting mobility. But beyond that, there's not one thing that everybody should be doing because it's going to be specific to you. And you know me, I think it's all about showing up and moving and finding what keeps you consistently moving. All right? So yes, Jennifer says she loves doing active recovery with monthly Fatigue hits, right? And again, everybody is different. And I can tell you for my Body Fit Elite. So Body Fit Elite, if you're not familiar, I am offering one on one coaching. You can find information on my website. I have very limited spots, but if you want to join, we have 4, 8, 12, and 16 weeks available. But with those clients, we can really dive deep onto what is specific to you. And we program some workouts outside of the calendar workout. So if you're interested in that, check out my website, bodyfitbaby.com, find out bodyfit Elite. But with those clients, it really has been eye opening to track how they feel throughout their cycle and just throughout the month in general, which is your cycle, and adjust accordingly. So Melanie says more butterflies. Everybody likes the butterfly, right? There we go. All right, what is your fave post workout breakfast? Oh, great question, Faye. Well, what do we usually do on Saturdays after Happy Saturday workout? What do we eat? Bacon, bacon, eggs, and bacon. So usually Saturday is our bacon day. We don't eat it a lot during the week, but Saturday is the day that we make it. So we usually have eggs and bacon. I don't know. Kurt, did you already put it in the oven? The bacon? Yes. So usually about this time, Kurt's putting the bacon in the oven. So by the time I'm done, we're about ready to eat. So we'll make up some scrambled eggs. You like scrambled eggs, right? We usually throw some veggies on it, some avocado, maybe some cheese. Oh, you don't like avocado, but you used to. And bacon. So that's my favorite. That when you were a baby? Yeah, that's my favorite. Saturday one, I would say during the week, often post workout, I do a shake. You guys know I've talked about my shakes before where I'll do a protein powder along with a frozen banana because that makes it taste like a milkshake. Sometimes frozen strawberries, if I'm doing vanilla and then throwing a whole bunch of greens in. Guys, if you haven't figured this out, throw spinach and kale and greens into your smoothies because you will not taste them as long as you have other stuff in there, especially fruit or things that are going to give it a little sweetness. That's a great way to get your greens. That's a great way. I get these guys to get their greens. So. All right, thank you. Thank you, everybody. Thank you so much. So be on the lookout. We will do this again. It might be August. We have some travel coming up, but we will be back here on Saturdays and we will be back doing some lives during the week. But make sure you're subscribed, make sure you're on the email list. Make sure you're following me. So you always know when those are coming up. And as always, thank you all so much for your support. I was really nervous to let you know that we're going to take a break from Lives one, because I knew I would really miss it, but I didn't want to let you down. But everybody was so, so supportive. And I've so appreciated that over so many years, through my pregnancies, through having little babies, through having bigger babies, just through, you know, pandemics, through shifting up things. Yes. My producer's telling me to wrap it up. Wrap it up. So thank you all so much. Happy weekend, everybody. Mary Ellen Tameka, happy birthday again. And we will see you on Monday for Energize Week two. Have a great weekend, everybody. Can you say bye? Are you really sleepy? Bye, everybody.
