It features Amy from Bodyfit by Amy leading a 10-minute cardio barre workout session that combines bar-inspired moves, standing Pilates, and cardio exercises. The content is a guided fitness routine focused on strength, mobility, and cardiovascular health, with instructions and encouragement throughout the workout.
Hey, everybody, I'm Amy from Bodyfit by Amy, and this is your cardio bar. 10 minute quick hit. Since it's only 10 minutes, we are not going to get a formal warm up, but go ahead and start moving your body. Roll those shoulders. We're gonna get the blood flowing, get the muscles warm, but we're gonna keep this just at 10 minutes. You can take those arms one at a time. So in this workout, we have a 10 minute flow cardio bar inspired. So bar and standing pilates. We'll keep it all stand, get nice and wide. Shift your weight through here. Open it up. So stay with me. We're gonna keep it moving. We'll get a little water break at about the halfway point, but of course, if you need more, get it on your own. Let's step back and reach. We're gonna start into it in just 10 seconds, so go ahead and get yourself centered. Again, Bar inspired moves. Doesn't matter what it looks like, as long as you're moving. We'll get strength, we'll get cardio, we'll get mobility. Let's go ahead and start right here. Arms up. Let's take those knees right through here. Here. Opening up in the knees and the hips. So it is cardio inspired. So our goal is to keep the heart rate up, but again, you can go a little slower if you need to. You can go a little quicker as long as you have good form. So let's take it here. We're going to go across, across. Bringing the knees across already feeling that heart rate. Get up right, Taking it here all the way. 4, 3, 2, 1. Let's take it in that nice wide plie. We're gonna go big deep breath in and out. Arms down. Big deep breath in and out. Two more just like that. And breathe. And in and out. Watch me here. We're gonna step it in, take it out. Same side, big scoop, in and out. You can start, sl and out. You can keep it here or if you want, drive it up, lean it out. Drive it up and out. Breathe into it. Four more. Four and breathe. Three. We're here. One more. Hold that plie. We're just rotating with our arms through those arms and shoulders. You're probably feeling it, especially if you got a tough workout maybe earlier in the week. Let's go. 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. Shake it out. Bring them in here. We're gonna take that opposite arm out with that plie. Here we go. Take it out, scoop it in. Start slow. Big out and in. Take it Out. All the way through. This arm is out, but if you need to drop it down, if want that option, pick it up, lean it out and breathe. We don't have to go super fast to get that heart pumping, right? And breathe. You got 4, 3, 2, 1. Hold it down right here. So let's take those hands right here. We're gonna lift those heels right in and out. Breathe. Yes, you can. I know. A little leg burn. We love it though, right? 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. Take it out right here. We're gonna turn and open. Turn and open. Breathe. Core is engaged. We're here. All the way through. Yes, you can, if you want. We're gonna turn, lunge and open. Turn. Lunge and open. Turn. I know that's a lot to add, so if that doesn't reveal right to you, you just keep it here and back to center if you can. Turn. And if you need to pick up your feet, you don't have to pivot. And breathe. Turn and up. Last one. Good. Walk those feet in. Tap, tap, little taps right here. We're gonna take them out in front. Yes, and breathe. You can do it. Yes. 4, 3, 2. Take it out right here. We're going side and reach. Side and reach. Find that good balance. Core engage. Keep it moving. Breathe. Let's pick up your pace right here if you want. Here we go. Up, up. You can grab onto a wall if you need. Whatever you need for you. 4, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. Open. Out wide. Other side. Right here. Take it up and down again if you need this balance. Up to you. Breathe. Pick up that pace. Yes, you can. Glory. 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and breathe. Little taps right here. So I told you we'd get a little water break halfway through. It's right here. Grab that water if you need it. We got five minutes to go. I know when we don't have intervals, it goes fast, but it also feels a little slow. But you can do it. So tap it out right here. I just want you to keep the feet moving. Grab a sip of water. We're going to take it through. Other side. We got a. Got a few more things to get through. Little taps. Little taps. We're going to start with your basic side lunge. Then we'll get a few curtsy lunges with some upper and lower body. But again, our goal is to keep the heart rate up. We have a little bit of burn for our muscles, but mostly cardio bar. Let's take it right here. Out and in. Out and in. Drive Those arms back and up. Reach and up. Right through here. Yes, you can. And up. Get low. Right through here. Here's what we're gonna add. Three, two, one. Step it through, take it. Three, two, one. Big reach. If that's not right for you, you just keep what we were doing if you can. 3, 2, 1, and reach. We're just adding a little extra mobility for those hips, which we love. 3, 2, 1. Drive it up. One more each way. Last one. Drive it here. We're going to pull those arms down with the knees. Right through here. Watch my palms. Rotating in and out. We got eight, seven. Squeeze in the shoulder blades in your back muscles, right? 4, 3, 2, 1. We're gonna curtsy it. Reach and back. Take it. Reach and back again. We don't have to be going super fast to feel this. Reach and back. You can add a little hop step, if that's right for you. Breathe. Here's what we're gonna add. A knee. 3, 2, 1. Hop it. Reach. 3, 2, 1. If that's not right for you, you keep it right here. You can just keep those taps, taps and taps or added here. 3. Pop it over. Yes. Breathe. Take it here. One more. Hold it in that curtsy. Arms, back. Little lifts. We're going low. Reach low. Reach down and up. Reach to the back. So big squeezes through those back muscles, through those triceps, through that hip. We're close to the end. Down. Yes, you can, huh? Four, three, two, one. Hold it here. Knee, knee. Yes. Burn. You can do it. I know. Drive them up. You can. Just pump those arms. You can take it a little higher if you need to get low if you want that leg. 4, 3, 2. Back to your curtsy. Take it here. Breathe. Nice and easy. Yes. We are down to our last minute. Let's make it good. 3, 2. Let's take of our other side right here. So watch me here. We're taking it down, we're curling it up, right? We're still gonna lift that leg. Squeeze palms to the shoulders so we get those biceps. And breathe. You gotta stay with me. Down and up. So it's a little curtsy lunge and a curl. If you want to keep it higher, take it here or touch the ground. We got four and up. Three, two. Balance. One more. And breathe. Drive that knee up. Up. Yes, you can. Stay with me. 4, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. Shuffle right here. Shuffle and back. Shuffle and back or double step. This is it, team. Five seconds. Four, three, two, one. Side to side. You did it. That was it right. So lots of cardio, lots of mobility, hip openers, getting everything working and then lots of added bonus strength, right? Little burn for our legs, our glutes, we got hips, inner, outer thighs, we got those buys and tries. We got back and shoulders, we got lots of core. Be sure you check out all of my other 10 minute quick hits. I have tons that are full body. So if you have a day, let's get a quick little hamstring stretch here. You can scoop that arm. If you have a day that you need to get something in to get that energy up, go ahead and click on one of these quick hits. Most of them are full body, most of them get full body strength and cardio. But there's also some specialized yoga, mobility, core, upper, lower, whatever you are needing. Also these are great finishers. At the end of a shorter workout or a workout where you can you feel like you still got a little bit left to give. Roll those shoulders right through here.
