✨DEEP CORE✨

Three deep-core exercises with regressions and progressions: dead bug with opposite arm and leg extensions, plank singles from knees to toes, and weighted marches with single-sided load. Breathing cues and alignment reminders throughout.
My favorite exercises for the deep core starting with the dead bug. Such a great exercise. You can extend the opposite leg and arm as you keep your ribs and pelvis pulled in and down, breathing throughout. Modify by just marching with the feet or take it up by adding that internal resistance, pushing the leg and hand against each other as you extend plank singles. Start on the mat with a deep inhale, then on the exhale, contract your core and pelvic floor to lift up to your knees, then to your toes, then slowly back down. The key here is to only use your core to lift, not pushing through your arms, knees or toes. Modify by just staying on your knees. Progress by adding a pike at the top. You're really going to feel this one Weighted march Any weight works for this. You can start by marching slowly with the weight racked at chest level, then progress by holding it overhead. Holding the weight only on one side will force the core muscles to stabilize even more. More, but.
