Got 5 minutes??

A wellness coach introduces quick movement breaks for busy parents, starting with a simple idea: a five-minute walk in your neighborhood after drop-off or before pickup. It's a small pocket of quiet time that can cut through the chaos of the day.
This is a busy time of year when we are all trying to get back into a routine with back to school, back to work, summer ending and I know that it can be difficult to find ways to get moving. So I have teamed up with my partners at Simply Sports CBD to bring you a Back to School Movement series. Each week I'm going to be showing you quick, simple, stress free ways to add movement just five to ten minutes throughout your day. Starting with this one that I call my post drop up pre pickup 5 minute walk.
Last year I started getting 5 to 10 minute walks right after dropping my kids off at school or right before picking them up for my kids school we have to park and walk them in. So I walk around the school neighborhood. But this could be done at home or at work or anywhere really. It gives me a few quiet moments of me time to center myself after the morning chaos before jumping into work or to let go of the day's work stress before reconnecting with my kid. I know this might not work with everybody's schedule with work or drop off or pickup, but if you can fit in just a few minutes it can make a big difference.
