Hey everybody, I'm Amy from BodyFit by Amy, and this is your kids workout, Move Your Body. I have my assistants, my daughter Maya, my son Kai, and we are gonna go through 5 exercises. And what is fun about this workout, it is a this or that workout, or a would you rather. So they're each gonna do a different exercise, and then you Amy and I get to pick which one we're gonna do, and then at the end of each exercise you're gonna get a point if we pick yours. So you can keep track of your points, you can get a total of 5 points. We'll see if you're a winner at the end. All right, so we're gonna go ahead and start. Are we ready? Yeah, let's do it! Something I say in every workout. Okay, so just go ahead and start moving your body. We'll get a really quick warm-up. You can reach up and reach down, whatever you want to do. You can get some rolls of your shoulders right through here. These exercises are not going to be hard, they're all standing. You can also roll your hips like this. Yep, or do whatever Maya is doing. And we're gonna get 40 seconds of everything. So your first 2 exercises to choose from— Maya's gonna do knee claps. You show that, right? Kai is gonna do squats like you're sitting in a chair. Yep, you want to get low. All right, are we ready? Here we go! I'm gonna pick knee claps, you do your squats. Yep, some people don't like squats, but they are very good for making our entire body strong, especially our lower body. You know what they're especially good at? What? Making your legs hurt. Yes, they also make your legs hurt. All right, so hopefully you picked one— knee claps or squats. I'm sure some people pick squats, right? We got 10 seconds. I love how low you're getting on those squats. It hurts. We got 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. All right, and if you picked squats, you get a point for that round. All right, this time we're gonna pick between punches or jump shot, just like you're doing a basketball jump shot. All right, this time I'm gonna do punches with Maya. Here we go! Punch, punch, punch! 40 seconds, and your punches can be as fast as you want, they can be slow. Your jump shot, you can actually jump, or you can just do here, but reach those arms high. Punch, punch, punch, punch, punch. You can also do uppercut punches. I teach kickboxing, which is a lot of fun. All right, we got 15 seconds. That one's harder than it looks, right? Here we go, and breathe. 10 seconds. That looks like a dance move. Are you punching? 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. All right, and if you picked jump shot, you get a point. I, I don't know, it's random. All right, next exercise, you can do a windmill with Maya. Can you show us the windmill? The toe touch like this. Yep. Or you can do a football run with Kai. So little quick feet, you can just march it or you can run it. Here we go. I'm gonna do football run, right? You're getting either a nice good stretch or— and again, you can just march it if you want. And if you got the football run, you can even do to the side To the back, back to the front. You can even race somebody next to you. Oh no, no, no, no, no, you got to stay in place, you got to stay in place. Let's see, here, here we go, here we go. 10 seconds. All right, we got it, we're working our hearts and our lungs. Yes! 4, 3, 2, 1. That was hard, right? But that's where we really get our hearts and lungs working, cuz they need exercise 2. And if you picked windmills, you get a point for that round. All right, now we're gonna do either a one-legged hop— Maya, you show that one leg hop— and halfway through you're gonna hop on the other. Or you can switch between the two. You can either do like 4 on one, 4 on the other, but one leg at a time. Or Kai's gonna do jump shuffles. Show us some jump shuffles. Yep, there you go. All right, so we got 40 seconds. You can pick which one. This is a tough call for me. I think I'm gonna jump shuffles. Here we go. And you can make them like this, or again, you don't have to jump it if you want to step it. You're doing a one-legged hop, right? I also, in my fitness— you could speed it up, or if you want, you can even do a lunge jump shuffle. That's something I do a lot in my workouts. Or you can just step it up, or one-legged hop. Switch, switch your hops if you're doing it. You want to switch right here. Up. No, we got 10 seconds! Let's go faster. Here we go. Woo! What happened here? One-legged hop. 3, 2, 1. Ho! All right, and if you picked one-legged hop, you win that round. All right, 2 and 2. This 2 and 2. No, we don't need a water break, we're good. All right, last one. We're going to do— Maya's going to do a dance break, and that can be whatever you want for a dance break. Kai's going to do jumping jacks. All right, so Pick one. You either want to do a dance break or you want to do jumping jacks. This is your last one. It's 40 seconds and it's the tiebreaker because 2 for you guys, 2 for 2. I don't know about you guys, keep track of your points. I know. All right, are we ready? 3, 2, 1, go for it! I'm going to do dance break, right? Twist, whatever that is, right? Right. I know, I think you picked it, right? No, you didn't want to do dancing? Jumping jacks! Bring them up. Well, I don't know if you wanted to dance. Hey, you're not dancing! Yeah, you didn't know I wanted to. 10 seconds right here. 5, 4, 3, 2, we did it! And high five your neighbor. That's the last part. And random, If you picked jumping jacks, you are the winner. But guess what? Guess what? Everybody is a winner. So I'm really proud of both of you. You got to tell us which one you picked. I actually didn't keep a track of my points, but it was— I think they picked mine. Oh, who knows. All right, but let's take our arms above our head. Let's get a little stretch in the front. So I hope you like this. You can always do it again on your own. You can always subscribe to BodyFit by Amy Amy, I think we'll put it up so your friends and minutes— you're— oh well, it's a little bit more than 5 minutes. Like, like, so like this much away from 1 million. Yes, please subscribe! Everybody can do a little leg stretch or a back stretch, but I hope you enjoyed this. I know you guys do PE and stuff at school, but this is a great way to get your muscles really strong and also get your hearts and your strong. Those are all things that we need, and we just feel better, right? Doesn't everybody feel like they're happier after exercise? That is what happens when we move our bodies. And here is our dog Bingo. All right, thank you all so much for joining me. All right, here we got to do this, what we do at the end of every workout. One big, one big deep breath in and out. You did it! That was your Kids Move Your Body workout. Great job, everybody!
