Happy Saturday team. Welcome. I am Amy. This is your Saturday live workout. No kids today. I'm actually flying solo here without Kurt to help. So we're gonna see how this goes. Go ahead and let me know if you are here. I am going to get this stuff out of the way and bring this up on my computer. Make sure that we are live. Please say hi if you are here. I would love to know that you're here. Today we are going to do a full body dumbbell shred. So dumbbells, if you have a couple sets, keep them close by. If you only have a kettlebell, that works too. Or soup cans or water bottles or whatever works for you. If you're just here to move your body, that works as well. All right, team, it looks like I can see a few of you coming in. Let's move this over. Yay. All right, Paula is here. There we go. Now I can see you. Natalie, Jen, Sarah, Aloysia. Awesome team. Okay, so we are gonna get started in just a second. Again, if you missed it, my husband is out of town, so he's usually doing all of this and wrangling the kids and all of that. So it's a little bit in insane over here, but we are gonna make it work. Hey, Yvette, Sarah, Monique, mk, Lori. Awesome team. All right, so full body dumbbell shred. We're gonna have a good time. I think you are gonna love it. So make sure you have your weights close by, make sure you have water, make sure you are staying cool because I know it is hot for a lot of us wherever you are, especially here in LA where I am. All right, team, so let's go ahead and get started. I'm gonna and get my timer going. You use that time to get ready because we are gonna get right into it. And you can go ahead and start marching or jogging. Whatever works for you. And here we go. All right, team. So marching or jogging, as long as you're moving, that is all that matters. All right, so breathing through it, let's roll through those shoulders to the back. Hey, Wendy. I know 100 degrees here in LA. Wendy's with me. She gets it. So make sure, guys, especially in this hot weather that so many of us are having, that you are getting enough water before and during and after your workouts. Yay. Angie is here with your two year old. Hi, Mel. Already ran a six miler. Oh, my goodness, you guys. Melanie, you are hardcore. Sarah is watching football while working out. I love it. I love it. Reach it up and down. All the way through. And let's take it here. Hinge, arm swings, open up through that back. And from here, guys, we're gonna tap it back. So you can tap or you can lunge, whatever is good for you. If you want to get a little lower, I love it. If you're able to really drop into that lunge. And then let's add on to it. So we're going to drop it down, reach it through, bring it up. Drop that knee for three, two, one. Kelly is doing a live for the first time. I love it. Reach it back. Arm down, reach up, drop the knee. You're dropping the knee, but you're also opening up that hip. Let's get one more each way. Take it back, hand down, reach up. Three, two. Open your hip. If you can't get that low, that's okay. Just stand up, drop it back, reach down, reach up. 3, 2. If you are able here, I want you to take it to that plank. If you need to, you can stay on your knees or stay standing. And we're just gonna lift up in our down dog. Back, forward, lift up and forward. Tap the knees or the toes if you can. One more each way. Last one. And walk it back. Take it here. Tap and reach across. Yes. D, finish coaching. Your morning class is ready to sweat now, too. Amazing, fellow coach. Reach it over your head. All right, team, so dumbbell shred. We've had a few different shred workouts here on the channel. They're all a little bit different. Let's take those hamstrings up here is what we are going to do. We're gonna isolate our exercises, but we're gonna mix it up so we got 30 seconds of each. We're gonna burn it out. You're gonna love it. Take it. Here we have got our strength round for 30 seconds, which is your back to basics. Take it. Here we've got our sculpt round, which is a little bit more of that burning of that toning of that sculpting. And then we've got our shred round. All right, so that is where we. We will pick up our pace. It might mean we add a little bit more cardio. It might mean we just pick up our pace with our movement, and it might mean we just mix it up enough that your heart rate is going to get pumping. All right, so we're getting all three in. But the good news is no repeat workout. So when you are done with it, you are done with it. Let's do a little step touch, and then let's take it to those jacks. You can take it modified right here or take it right here. All right, guys, you got about 10 seconds to breathe. I'm gonna adjust my ponytail. You do the same if you need to. All right, go ahead, catch your breath. We've got 30 seconds. 30 seconds. 30 seconds. Grab your weights. You can go with something heavy because we're starting here. All right, Starting with your basic lunge. And yes, that means we're gonna get both sides. So we got one foot forward. We're gonna step into it. If that feels like too much for you, you keep it stationary. If you need to just tap back to modify. That works too. Otherwise, drop it down. 30 seconds. Here we go. Take it down, press it up. So this is your strength round. I really want you to focus on the back to basics. Taking your time. Really getting low. Yes. And breathe. Yay. Lorraine is here. Ben and his wife. I love it. Keep it going. Keep getting low cores and tight chest lifted. Good posture. We're gonna hold it stationary here. If you can drop it. 3, 2, 1, 1. And up. 3, 2, 1, and up. Yes. I know it's burning. That's what we want. 3, 2, 1. Keep it going. Keep those shoulders back. I know it's tempting to come here, but we really want to keep that good posture. And up. Three, two, one. Yes. Burn. All right, here we go. Tap it knee. And down. Knee. You don't have to get as low. This is your shred. If you just want to tap it here, that works. If you can get low. Yes. Burn one more right here. Then take it down. If you want, pop it up in the front. I know it's a little tricky. If you'd rather just keep the knee, that works too. Five seconds balance. Three, two, one. Shake it out. Right, Catch your breath. We're actually going to take a full breather here before we get that other side because I know those legs are burning. Right? So that is what we're looking at. 32nd strength. 32nd sculpt. 32nd shred. Are you with me? I think you are. Sarah, Kelly, D. Ben, Lorraine. Yes. We're doing it. Core in tight. Ready? Here we go. 30 seconds strength. Drop it down and up. If you need to. Remember, you can modify by just taking it back and a tap back, keeping those weights down by your side. Of course, if you needed to, you could do this without weights, especially with this lower body. But anything in the workout, moving your body. Remember, if you showed up today, you are successful. Breathe. Stay with me. And low. Here we go. 3, 2, 1. Power it up through that front heel. Slow. On your way down. Really get low. Drive up through that heel. If you're tapping, you can still do a little bend through the front. 3, 2, 2. And just not get as low. That works as well. 3, 2, 1, and up. 3, 2. Let's get one more, then we're in to that shred. Ready? Here we go. Knee up. Drive up and down. You can keep it just a tap if you'd rather be here or really get low with it. At the halfway mark, we're going to take it to that front leg in five, four, three, two. Hold it here. Power up. You really gotta push up that front leg. It is hard to do with weights, right? So do the best you can. Three, two, one. Ah, yes. Give your hands a little break. Catch your breath, guys. Get a sip of water after each. We're gonna get a little cardio mobility that is designed to stretch that out. So here you go. We're gonna go here, reach it down here, reach it down. Join me. Open up that hip. Little side lunge. Yes, Cardio mobility. Before we get into that next move, if you want to go a little quicker, you can power through, but make sure you're not sacrificing. I really want that hip roll so we get that mobility. I still want you to get deep to get that flexibility. Keep it going. How we doing? And here, Roll. And here. Yes. 3, 2, 1. Catch your breath. All right, guys, moving to some upper body. So we're gonna hinge with it. Hinge. We're gonna row for 30 seconds, but we're gonna do the hinge every time. So, yes, we are sneaking in a little deadlift, but that's also to get all the way through your back. When we do that sculpt round, we're gonna alternate one at a time. A little quicker. Then with our shred, we're gonna pop it back. You can keep it higher. I'll give you some options. Here we go. Hinge, row, and up. Hinge, row, all the way through. So use this time. Slow it down. Catch your breath. Focus all the way through the muscles along your back, those big muscles along the spine that work so hard in everything we do. Hinge five seconds. Right here. Yes, Here we go. Hold it here. Sculpt it one and then the other. So the reciprocal, you're going up on one as you come down on the other, right? Keeping that back flat, you're not just here. We're really making sure we're squeezing in the shoulder blade. If you're feeling it in your back. Take a little breather. Come up to it. Come right back down. Take it. 10 seconds. All right, guys, what we're gonna add is popping it back to a row. You can keep it here or take it here. Row, row. Pop up and row. Join me. Row, row. Pop it up flat. Back row. Yes. If you don't want to take it back all the way, you just keep that row right here. You can just keep it going. Come up in between, just like your first round, but if you're able, take it down. Row, row. Pop up flat, back row. Let's get one more all the way through and relax. Yes. Weight down. Shake it out. Cardio mobility. We're going to do some reaches across. So we're here. Reach and tap. Reach and tap. Stretch. Join me. Here we go. Reach. Cardio mobility to stretch out through that back, right through those shoulders. Open up the chest as you come back. And of course, getting that cardio right. We're on the mat after this for some core. You're gonna love it. Yes. Let's finish it out. Take it over your head. You're stretching it here. Breathe. Yes. Keep it going. 10 seconds. You can pick up that pace if you want more of that cardio. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Relax. Nice work, team. Water. Join me down on the mat. We've got some core. All right, team, so take it here. You're gonna start on your elbows. We're just holding a plank. If you need to modify pre post doctor, I just want you to stay on your knees, and you're gonna lift one arm in the other. Otherwise, join me here, team, in three, two. Just your plank. Here we go. So we're just holding. This is your strength round. I want you to do a little check in so you got that dumbbell right in the center. Do a check in even if you're on your knees. Are we tight and lifted in the core? Hips and ribs coming together navel to spine. So a little pelvic tuck, tight in the legs, tighten the glutes, tighten our back, but not rolled forward, and we're breathing. Five more seconds here. Three, two, two, one. We're gonna come up on those hands and we're gonna reach it through, right? So reach through, take it across. If you need to stay on your knees. Here is our sculpting. Take it through. Take it through. Yes. Knees or toes, pulling that weight through. There we go. You got it. Awesome. Team Shred round. Everybody's favorite. Take it down. Jump it. Take it up. Jump it. Join me. Down and up. So think left, right, jump, left, right, right, left, right, left. If you're on your knees, I just want you to tap and down. Tap and up. Keep it going. 10 seconds. Down and jump or tap and up. 4, 3, 2, 1. Rest. Yes, team. How are we doing? Get that little stretch in your hip flexors. On your knees. Bring it up. Catch your breath. We're gonna keep it going. Whoo. Nice job, everybody. All right, so catch your breath. We're going into a deadlift, so watch me. Here. We've got our weights. You breathe. Tap it out. We've got our regular deadlift. In our sculpt, we're gonna go 15 seconds of one at a time, alternating, and then our shred. We're gonna get set up. Dumbbell swing. If you're not comfortable or you've never done a swing before, then I want you to keep it with the deadlift. All right? We're gonna stretch out our back after it, so don't worry. Zip up that core. Roll those shoulders back. It's just your basic hinge. Knees are soft. Here we go. Deadlift. Take it down. So the trick on this deadlift again, I want you to use this strength round two. Make sure that you are taking your time, keeping the weights close to the front of your legs. Slight bend in the knees. There's lots of versions of deadlifts. We're doing sort of in. In between. Not our Romanian, which is locked out and not all the way down, but slight bend. But when our weights get out here, that's when we feel that lower back. So keep them close. Right here. Let's switch to one leg. Here we go. So you can either do kickstand with that foot down in the back, just giving you a little extra balance, or here we're alternating, so requires a little bit of switching with that brain as well. Push into the heels. Slight bend in that front knee. You got it? Yes. Keep it going. 5, 4, 3, 2. Get set up. One dumbbell or two skier swing or in the middle, if you've never done it, you keep it with your regular deadlift. Here we go. Prep it. Three, two, drive it up. We're still gonna get that full 30 seconds. I know we had a little bit of setup on this. Lock out in that core, at the top, in the legs, and the glutes again. If you got one heavy like your kettlebell, you can be here too. Breathe out. Lock it out. Keep it going. Right. 10 to go for 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. And relax. Yes. Team weights to the side. All right, Cardio mobility. If you need to, I want you just to reach down, reach it up and kick. Reach down, reach it up and kick if you're able. We're gonna come down here and we're gonna tap like we did in the beginning. Join me here. Here we go. Tap your knees or tap your toes. It's core, but it's also mobility. Stretching through the back, through the back of the legs. Again, modified. We're just gonna reach, stretch, reach, stretch. Keep it going wherever you are. We are over almost over halfway in this workout, so get excited. Going back to that upper body. Breathe. 4, 3, 2, 1. Relax. Yes. Catch your breath. Quick sip. Bring it here. We're gonna grab those weights, starting with a curl and a press team. All right, guys, so watch me here. Regular curl. Press in and in. Our sculpt. We're going to be here. We'll take the press out of it, and then we're going to take it either to a high pull or. Or a snatch. Whatever you got for your shred. All right? So a little bit of a power move all the way up. Go ahead and grab those weights. Core engage. Feet together or one foot back. Ready? Curl and press. Curl, press in and down. So I'm bringing them in, then rotating out, then bringing them in and down. Sometimes that's called an Arnold press. We get that shoulder rotation, so we get a little extra movement through the shoulders. Good for mobility for that shoulder girdle. But it is up to you. If you want to just do one dumbbell. If you got one heavy, we're just here to here. Keep it going. Up, up and breathe. Last one. All right, Alternating. We're gonna go hammer, curl, hammer curl. Yes. Burn, right. You can add a knee if you want. Just keep it controlled. What I don't want, right? Keep that core engaged. Maybe go opposite. That's probably better. Sculpt it. Yes. Three, two, one. One, down. All right, guys, watch me first. Really quick. High pull and switch. High pull and switch. Or snatch all the way through. Pull it close. Let's get ready. In three, two. High puller, snatch. Alternating. Shred it and down and down. Or here, here. I know. Just adding a little bit of power to your shred. Round right. Keep it going. 10 seconds. Breathe. There we go. Last one. Yes. Good work, team. Let's take it down. No, let's get some cardio mobility. So we're going to tap it back and back. So open up. Thumbs to the back to open up the chest and shoulders and give yourself some space. Then we're down for some core. Ready? Here we go. So here, tap. I know it looks a little silly, but I want you to think about opening and then opening up the hips here. So here. Yes. Breathe. Keep it going. Yes. Ha. Good work, honey. Is here. The rain is here. I love it. Slower, fast. Up to you. 4, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Yes. Catch your breath. Water down onto your back. Team. All right, guys, so with or without? Let's do without your weights here. So modification is just going to be a bridge, and then we're gonna add some knees from here with our bridge. Otherwise, we're gonna have everything coming in to touch, everything taking it out. Then we're gonna mix it up on our sculpt, we're gonna mix it up on our shred. All right? So going to go a little quicker on the shred, but I want you still to keep good form, all right? So go ahead, bring it here. Wherever you are, I want you to connect with that core. Big TA breath. Bring it in. Everything is stable. Here we go. In. Extend it out. Everything in nice and tight. Extend it out. If you really want to get the stretch with it, take the arms and the legs out. Pull everything in tight. Otherwise, bridge and bring it in. You can take those arms over if you want in that bridge. That works too. Whatever is good for you. Be where you are today. Watch me here, guys. Hold it here. Nice and tight. Either hold it here or here. We're going 8. Bring it in. 7. If you're bridging here. Up and down. Here we go. 4. Opposite Arm, opposite leg, elbow or hand pushing in against each other. 2. Good. Switch your sides right here. Lift. Bridge. You're just alternating your knees. Good. Last four. Keep that push in. Four against each other. Three, two. All right, watch me. Shred round everybody if you can. Runners, crunch. Bring it all the way up or halfway, whatever is good for you. In the bridge. We're just bringing that knee up as we lift the opposite arm. Are we ready? Let's finish this last 30 with this core. Here we go. Bring it up slowly down. Power on your way up. And then really resist it on the way down. Power like you're running to the sky. Keep it here. Or here. This works too. Or bridge. Lifting the hips but not flexing in the core. Right. Five seconds. Four, three, four, two, and one. Stretch it out. How are we doing, team? We are so close, Wendy. Only 30 minutes left, right? Right. You never know. All right, team. Hopefully my clock is going. I think it is. All right, quick Sip of water. Bring it up to the top. You know, what we haven't done is just a super basic squat, right? All right, so we're gonna do it goblet squat, holding one dumbbell here. When we sculpt it, we're gonna take it down, we're gonna lift it up here and here. And when we shred it, we're gonna step it out. Step it out. All right. Moving laterally. Go ahead and grab one or two dumbbells. You can go too heavy if you want, but I'd rather you keep it in that goblet grip. Breathe into it. Shoulders back, toes forward, or out a little bit. Here we go. Wendy met 13 minutes. It was voice recognition. I thought you were making a joke, Wendy, that you never know if I'm gonna run up that clock or not. Now, your core should be burning a little bit after what we just did on the mat. So I want you to use that connection as you come up. Connect with that pelvic floor. Everything up and in. Good, good. And here we go. Watch me. We're gonna take it down. Lift the hips. If it's easier for you to be here, lift all the way up so you're getting that little stretch. So we're already getting mobility, right? Drop it down. Lift weight in the heels. Remember, you can turn those toes out a little bit if you need to. Whatever is good for your bone structure with that good form. Hold it here, guys. Take it out and down here and breathe. If you want, you can add a little press. I know you. You don't have to, but this is shred round, and we are getting close to the end, so let's get it done. And breathe. Good. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Yes. Weight down. Little cardio mobility. I want you to take it. Cross it over big arms. Cross it over big arms. So open up the hips. I know it's a curtsy lunge. It's a skater, but you can do it. Here we go. Down, big reach. So cardio mobility. If you just want the mobility, you keep it a little slower. I promise your heart rate is still going to stay up. If you want a little more cardio, you take it here. It's up to you. Shred, baby. We're doing it, and we got just about eight minutes left. You can do it. How's that heart rate? If it's like mine? You're feeling it. I know. Here and here for four, three, two, and breathe. Water. Let's take it down, team. We are doing it. All right, guys, you know, I Like to adjust my fan here. Ha. Bring it down. Join me here. Watch me really quick. We're on our back. If you need to be in a bridge, you can be in a bridge. Or if you just want to add that bridge for fun, do it. We're gonna do a chest press into triceps. If you want to go one dumbbell, or if you want to go close grip press so you get them both. Go for that. Go ahead and grab those weights. Get set up. Ready? Here we go. So chest press, triceps, old favorite, right? Up and down and breathe. Down and up. So again, that's probably going to feel a little light on the press, maybe a little heavy on the tries. Do the best you can that. We're gonna combine them for 3, 2, 1. So now bring those elbows in reciprocal, one at a time. We're here, we're here. You can keep those hips up if you want. So keeping the elbows in is going to get chest and triceps. You should feel it, right? Keep those hips up if you want. Or you can even have core for 4, 3, 2, 1. We're gonna turn over for our shred round, so you have a couple seconds to breathe. Watch me. Hear modification. Your push up, your bird dog. Everybody else, you know what's coming. We're going all the way down. Lift it up, all the way up. Join me here. Here we go. 30 down, reach and up. Elbows are pointing to the back. It's a bit like a 45 degree angle, guys. So not here, not here. Like a tricep about halfway. Split the difference as you go down. If you need those knees, totally fine. Lift up in that Superman. Keep it going. Reach and up. Shred. Yes. Two more. You got it? Yes. Stretch it back. Right, team. All right, Take it on to your side. We're gonna make this one quick, guys. 20. 20 and 20 on each side for core instead of 30. 30. So keep that waist weight close by. It's optional. Core is engaged on the knees or on the toes. We're gonna hold. We're gonna go down and up, and then we're gonna bring that knee in. All right? Weight is optional. Take it here. In three, two, one. Hold it here. So if you're feeling good about it, if you want to have the weight there, if you want to have the weight here. As long as that is comfortable for you. Listen, we still get the work from here or here or here, right? Those obliques are still working. If you're feeling your shoulder, I want you to try to pull that shoulder away. From your ear. Can you even turn out that hand? That might help. All right, team, we're going down and up again. You can be here, or if you're feeling ambitious with it, you can be here. Yes, I know. Breathe. It's a lot. Drop that knee if you need to. Now we're gonna go down and up. Knee and in. Down and up, knee and in. With the toe or with the knees? Yes. 10 seconds to go. Stay with me because we are so close to being done with this workout. 3, 2, 1. Stay. Stretch it out, stretch it over. I know, right? A lot of this, a lot of this. Take that across too. Roll through that other side. 22nd hold. 22nd drop. 22nd drop. Top knee core is engaged. Nia is here in spirit. Awesome. Zip up that core. We're starting with the lift. Either on the knees or on the toes. So close. Team. Here we go. Take it up. Just your hold. Remember, if you want to hold that weight here, if you want to hold that weight here. And again, if you're feeling that shoulder, I want you to think about pulling that shoulder down away from the ear. You can also open up that hand a bit. That might help. Yeah. And let's go ahead and drop it down and bring it up. Knee can be here, down and up. Whatever is good for you. Take it down and up. Yes. Hand can be up or down. Ha. So close. Let's add that top knee. Here we go. So we're knee and drop, knee and drop. Knee and drop. Keep it going. Ten seconds. Seconds, team. Breathe and drop. Three, two, one. Yes. Stretch those arms out. I know. All right, guys, I think we got time for a bonus move. Yes. You knew it. Look at that. There is still time on the clock. Grab your weights, team. All right, so we're gonna take it side lunge and row. Side lunge and row. And then I'm going to give you the option to keep it standing or pop it back. Watch me. Here, side lunge, row. Other side, side lunge, row. And then you can either keep it here, curl, press, back to center, side lunge, or pop it back, pop it in, curl, press. Are you with me? So side lunge, row. Side lunge, row, curl and press. Or pop it back, curl from the bottom. Here we go. In three, two, one minute. Make it good. Side lunge, row all the way through. Sit deep, row, curl and press. Or pop it back. Pop it in. Wide curl, press it up. Yes. Keep it going. Side lunge, row. Stay with me because we are close. Pop it back or curl and press. Take it here. Halfway there. 30 seconds to go. Don't give up on that form. I know you are tired. I'm tired, too. But you made it this far. Let's finish it out strong. Whoo. Yes. Doing it. You are here. You are succeeding. You are strong and you are capable. Don't forget that. One more. All the way through. Hi. You know what most people are doing on a Saturday? Drinking mimosas. And you can, too, but after this last one. Oh, yes. And if you're watching this drinking mimosas, that's okay, too. Be where you are today. Ha. But if you're moving, I am proud of you for that. Tap it out, team. All right. Roll those shoulders. Yes, I know. And back to the front. Let's take those knees out. Take it here, team. If you're able, hang out for a few minutes. I am going to take any questions. Say hi to those people I may have missed in the beginning. One foot forward. Sit back. Lean into it here. So hang out with me for a bit if you can. We've earned them. Yep. But you know, we don't have to earn them, but it's fun. Let's see. Tall. Yeah. You're here. Connie, Energy. Oh, thank you for that. Listen, you guys, I had a really rough night's sleeps with all my babies. They were all up, including my very old dog. So I was not feeling it this morning. I'm not gonna lie to you. But I feel so much better now. The second I started moving my body, not the second, but within the first couple of minutes, I got that energy. So remember that when you are not feeling like moving, when you had a rough night's sleep or a tough day and you're feeling low energy, tell yourself you're just going to get five minutes and then see how you feel. 99% of the time you feel better and you get that energy. So thank you guys for giving me that today. I'm not going to lie. I was a little grumpy this morning. So anyway, Tamika, yay. There's nothing better than your fans breeze during your workout. Yes, you guys, I. Because of sound, we can't have AC in here and it's real hot so I have to move the fan to be on me, honey. Thanks for joining Dolores. I love seeing Jenny, all these people from my body fit athletic club again. It's such a great group and that's where I get to know you. Aaron was able to join a live. Jenny says my one year old gave me a high five and I was done. Oh, I love it. I love it. Yes. Our kids are proud of us. Listen, don't ever feel selfish about taking time to be healthier, to be a better version of you. That's the best thing we can do for the ones that we love. I will always remind you that I'm going to scroll, scroll through. I'm gonna see who I miss. Jeanette in New York City. Kate in Ontario. Awesome. Linda. Hi. Laura is here. Lori was really looking forward to some non work related shredding. I hope that was the better kind of shredding, right? Awesome team. Lynn and Toronto. Deanna from Phoenix, first time live. Yay. Faye in Vancouver. Awesome. College football Saturday. I know, guys, I'm gonna be in the same boat if you're a college football fan. I am. Yay. All right, team. So let's see who Monique was able to make it from Hawaii. I love it. Good to have you back. All right, team. So let's. I know someone had a question about frozen shoulders. So Frozen shoulder view. You can look it up for more info, but essentially what it sounds like right where you're really tight in your shoulders. So yes, it can absolutely happen. There's a lot of different reasons. Disclaimer. I'm not a doctor. If you're having pain or it's not getting better, I would definitely see a doctor and, or a physical therapist. But tight shoulders that we often get from the things that we're doing all the time, picking up our kids, leaning over, doing the dishes, doing all the things on our computers, lifting heavy things in and out of the car, all of that can contribute. So getting that flexibility, training to open that back up, that rotator cuff. And of course, again, I highly recommend seeing a physical therapist if you can. All right, let me scroll back here. Yay. Thanks everybody for being here. Yes. Lori says the energy erect. Amanda, you're here. Here. Yay. I'm so glad Melanie used your 20 pound dumbbells for most of it. Amazing. Paula, so glad you're here. Anne Marie, Sarah, my daughter always manages to skip the nap so she can join me. I feel you on that, but I'm glad that she liked it. Teresa, the community are such an inspiration. And Energizer, I love it. Jody, love the back to basics format. Looking for new shoes. What model of Adidas are these? Hmm, that's a good question, Jodi. I'm gonna have to look it up because I got these at Nordstrom Rack. So guys, a fun tip is to look at places like if you have these in your area, Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, all of that, all of those Ross discount stores, they often have your name brands, your Nike, your Adidas, your New Balance, so check there first. Otherwise, if you have any issues with your ankles, with your arch, with either pronating or supinating, internally or externally rotating, things like that, it's always also a good idea to get fitted. If there's a store like a foot store or running store, that also is really helpful or to look into maybe if orthotics are right for you. But if you're just someone who just needs a new pair of trainers, check those places first. I will look. Hold on, hold on, let me see. It says prime green, so I don't know what that means, but they are new and I am enjoying them. Another thing, guys, is to have more of your flexible sole shoes for your strength training. But when you're doing more of the higher impact, if you're a runner, if you're doing a whole lot of like high, high impact cardio. You may need a little more support depending on your feet. So MK is here. Yay. Question. What do you enjoy more, kettlebell or dumbbell? Oh, that's such a hard question. Because, you guys, I love all of it. You sometimes maybe have heard me say that my favorite exercise in the world is a kettlebell swing. It's very hard for me to pick a favorite extra exercise because I love them all or most of them. That's not true. I don't love them all, but I feel most powerful when I'm swinging a kettlebell. But I love dumbbells too, because they're classic. They've been around forever. But also I love things like the TRX or a lot of you guys know, now I'm a coach for tonal. I'm a prenatal, postnatal coach for tonal, which is digital weights, which is fascinating. I love resistance bands, so it really would be hard to say. I kind of love all different ways that we. We can get our bodies moving. And if you get excited about one more than the other, then go for it. I am all about whatever is going to get people moving more. So let's see the outlet stores. Melanie, you're exactly right. Yes. Sarah, 55 years old, tough. But you did it. Of course you did. Ah, yes. Tamika wasn't feeling it. But you're feeling better now, right? Me too. All right, team. So coming up in the bodyfit athletic club, get excited. It is September shred full body reset. So we tend to have a different challenge, a different way that we get motivated every month in the athletic club. So this is September shred the full body reset. Is that for a lot of us, we've just gone through summer. Not everybody for our friends on the other side of the world, but for a lot of us, we've been through the summer, and sometimes in the summer, our schedule gets off. Some of us travel kids are out of school, so maybe we were able to stay active in a lot of different ways, but we get sort of out of that routine. And usually September is a time kids go back to school. Everything kind of slows down in that way. It gets busier in some ways, but hopefully slows down, we can get back into a routine. So if you. If that's you, and even if that's not what we're going to do with the reset is we're going to have workouts like this. They're not all going to be shred type workouts, but workouts that are going to reset your body, get you motivated, things that are new and different for you, things that are going to confuse your muscles in a good way. And the biggest thing, getting you back into that routine, if you are a beginner, if you're newer to exercise, we're going to get you into that routine. We're going to do the same thing with our nutrition, right? So in the Athletic Club, we have Vivian, who's amazing, registered dietitian, nutritionist. She gives us a new recipe every week. We have the Method Nutrition Guide, which is part of the Athletic Club. And we hold each other accountable. And it is not about dieting or restricting. No foods are off limits. There's no counting calories or macros. It's all about getting more of the good stuff. And when we do enjoy the less nutritious stuff, doing that in moderation and not feeling guilty about it, right? There's no shame in the Athletic Club. So join us if you can. Again, look in the description below for the special because it is ending very soon. Join us. And, guys, I would say the best part, I say this every week, but the best part about the club is not all of that. I mean, of course, it's all of that additional stuff that you get from experts like Vivian and like me, but it's. It is the community. It's such a great group of people and we all support each other. It's a safe space where you can talk about your fitness and your nutrition journey. We can celebrate the wins. We can be frustrated with you if you're going through challenges and we're going to be there for you. So it's such an amazing community. I really have loved getting to know all of these people. So join us there if you can. Dixie missed the workout, but looking forward to doing it tomorrow. Yeah. Also from Marathon Athletic Club. Yay. Awesome, guys. Tamika, get some rest. You know, sometime when my kids are in college. Right. All right, team, well, thank you for joining me today. And be on the lookout again, make sure that you are subscribed to the YouTube channel.
