LIVE 35 Minute Mini Band Sculpt Workout - SCULPT #24

A live 30–35 minute mini-band sculpt workout (Sculpt #24) led by an instructor for the Body Fit Athletic Club. The session includes a warm-up, a sweat/compound interval round, shred/basic-focused lower- and upper-body segments, core and lunge+row sequences, plank/side-plank core work, a 60-second bonus finisher (double jacks), and a cool-down with community Q&A and announcements about upcoming programming (September 'Burn' challenge). Instructor gives band/weight/bodyweight options and frequently cues core engagement, modifications, and timing.
Say, don't forget to subscribe. Oh. Oh. Happy Saturday. Happy Saturday, everybody. We were too busy posing. You can keep your sunglasses on. I got some serious helpers today. Let's say hi to everybody. Robin and Scotty are here. Say, don't forget to subscribe. Forget to subscribe. Kai wants to remind you to subscribe. Hey, Mariah is here. Jenny is here. Lindsay is here. Carmela, Mary Ellen. So many fun friends from the Body Fit Athletic Club. Hey. And Bingo is here. Careful. Okay, okay. Hey, guys, why don't you show them? What are we working with today? We are working with mini bands. All right. All right. We're gonna get the crazies out here, but, guys, can you. Bye. Have a good workout, okay? Okay. Welcome, welcome. If you're just joining for the first time, it's always chaotic like that in the beginning. Hey, Mikayla. Tamika is here. Alyssa Ashley. First workout in two weeks. Back from vacation. Yay. So good to see you. I hope you had so much fun in Colorado. Olivia and Gigi are here. Oh, hi, Olivia and Gigi. Maybe Tony's there, too. Who knows? Laura is here. That was. You know, you don't normally get to see Kurt sneaking in, but there he goes. Julie. Hey, everybody. Linda, Angela is here. There's Bingo. Yes. All right, team. So mini band sculpt today. But I do want to reiterate, if you don't have a mini loop band, not everybody has them. You. You may have one that looks like this or one that looks like this. We're going to be working with that. If you don't have one, I'm going to give you options to add a weight. A kettlebell or a dumbbell for a few things or the rest. You're able to just keep body weight so you don't have to have a mini loop band. I know. Not everybody does. They are a really great tool. They're not very expensive. I have links in my minivan videos. I'll make sure that it's in here later today. For the brands that I like, they are not expensive at all. And they're really. They add a lot of resistance as and there. You can travel with them. They're easy to store things like that, so it is a good tool to have. Hey, Natalie is here. Amanda is here. First live, we're got. Elizabeth is here. A whole family here with many fans. Hey, Elizabeth. And Mike and Nathaniel. Oh. Oh, my gosh. Now I'm forgetting your other little little guy's name. Make sure you put it in so I can say hi to him too. Julie is here. All right, team. So great tool to have if you want to get it. If you don't have it, no big deal, because we're gonna work hard no matter what. We're only going 30 minutes today. If you were here for body weight and dumbbell and kettlebell sculpt, similar format where we start with the sweat. We get the heart rate up with somewhat of a compound movement, and then we take it to a shred, and then we take it to a sculpt. Maybe some pulses are involved. Either way, we're gonna have a good time. Make everybody get a sip of water, a little pre hydration, and let's get to it. Go ahead and start marching. Roll through those shoulders. Benjamin. Hey, Benjamin. That is Elizabeth's other son's name. If you're wondering how I know, because we are like a family in the bodyfit athletic club. Elizabeth is one of our amazing members. Roll through. All right, team, take it here. Arms to the back. Whatever you need to do to get that blood flowing. Remember, the goal of our warm ups is to not only prep our bodies, but also raise our core temperatures. That is how we work best. So certainly it's fine to jump right into a workout, especially if it's something short. But we want to get the temperature up and ready to go. Big stretch through here. So just take it side to side right through here. Reach. Open up those hips. Maybe you're a little stiff from the week. Maybe you're a little sore from yesterday's workout. I know I am. Filmed a new kettlebell for you all yesterday that I'm excited about. Let's take it flat back down and round it up. Up through here. Sh. Roll through. Let's get one more. Hold it here. Oh. Stretch out that back. Hey, Darcy is here. Good to see you. Walk it in. Let's take it with a little squat and a knee cross. You don't have to get super high with it. Just right through here. Just to get a little rotation. See if you can get the elbow on the outside of the knee. One more, and let's take it right here. I want you to get at the end of your mat, hinge it forward. Feel that stretch. Bring it up and reach. Taking it right through here. I want you to watch me one time. You can keep it right here. You have a couple of options if you're able. You're gonna inchworm it out. Big step to the side. Big step to the side. Bring it up. Turn around. Your other option is to just step it back Step it back and bring it up. If you don't want to go into the plank or get the Inchworm, but if you can take it all the way out. Here we go. Hinge it forward, Inchworm it out. Big step wide. Open up the hips. Big step wide, all the way up. Turn around, hinge, Inchworm it out. Step wide, wide and up. Let's get two more like that. Whatever that looks like for you. You can just do the Inchworm. You can just do the steps. You can just do the hinge. As long as you're getting ready to go, that's all we want. One more hinge. Inchworm it out, Step it here, step it here, and bring it up. All right, team, tap and reach across. So here's what we got again. Similar to your body weight, dumbbell and kettlebell sculpt that we've had the last few Saturday lives. We're gonna start with our sweat round. So that's gonna be something a little more compound, a little more getting your heart rate up, and then we're gonna break it down. So then we go back to basics with our shred. So sometimes that will be one and then the other. Sometimes that will be together, and then we will take it to our sculpt round, and we'll have a series of little burner moves, maybe some pulses, maybe some holds, maybe some little tap outs. Either way, you're gonna like it. So, hey, Becky is here. Good to see you, Becky. Cross in here. Then we'll take those bands off or set the weights down, whatever it is. Again, reminder. I'm going to give you options if you don't have a band, and then we'll get some cardio mobility, and then we'll take it all again. But even though we're repeating certain types of movements, it's basically a no repeat workout. All right, team, so go ahead and start. Let me get my timer going here. I want you. If you have two bands, grab two. If you have one, grab one and put it at your lower body. So if you only have one band, put it at your lower body. If you don't, let's start it mid calf. So if you don't, you're just gonna keep this body weight. I just want you to go through the motions with your upper body. Here's what we got. With the upper body, you're gonna extend out as you step for two. So I want you to think of it as a tricep push. Shoulders and back are working, too. As you step to the side, you're gonna get the glutes, then you switch side. So big heart rate. Push to start. We got lower body. We got upper body. We want that core engaged. If you don't have a band up top again, go through here. You could try some light dumbbells. It might get heavy fast, but you'll still feel it with that upper body. All right, team, so zip up that core. Shoulders back. Let's start with sweat. 40 seconds. Here we go. Step out for two steps. Step out and push. So again, if you only have one band, just keep it at the lower and just go through the motions of the upper. If you don't have a band, just keep it body weight, get low with it and really press out wide with the hips. Really good hip mobility. Keep us moving well and really good for strengthening around the knees. 10 seconds to go. Hopefully you're feeling that burn. I am feeling that heart rate. Let's get one more each side. Yes. And time. Breathe. Shake it out. All right, set your upper body down. Now we're gonna take it just one side and then the other. Back to basics. Just your lower body. Rest your upper. Zip up that core. Here we go. Side to side. Band or body weight. I want you to step out wide. Core is engaged. Still getting low. So sometimes when we're doing that step out, we have a tendency to just go here. I still want you to think about dropping the hips low. Heart rate's probably still staying up. I know mine is right. Breathing through it. Connect with the core at the top. 10 seconds. Down and up. Breathe. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Yes. Good. All right, you can keep that on if you want. Switch it to upper. If you only have one, go ahead and switch it to upper. If you are working with weights, I want you to take one over the head and get some tricep overhead extensions. Otherwise, we're right here. Alternate. Here we go. Press out and in again. If you don't have a band, grab one or two dumbbells over your head. Triceps right through here. Keep it moving. Keep that there so I can show you here to here. Also connect with that core. That's why I'm making that sound. Breathing. As I create the tension of the band, I want you to really pull up and in with that core and pelvic floor. Five, four, three, two, one. Relax. All right, team, shake it out. Here is what we got. I want you to move that band above the knees. Go ahead and roll it up. If you are working with the dumbbell, you're gonna keep it over the head. You're gonna step out here to here. Pulse for three with the upper. Step it down. Pulse for three with the upper dot Step it down. You got the band. You're gonna pulse 3, 2, 1, and up. Then we're gonna switch it, and we're gonna pulse out with the legs, and then push. I'm gonna talk you through it. So either way, dumbbell over the head, band or body weight or two bands, we're gonna start pulsing the triceps. Zip up that core. Shoulders back. We just got 30. Here we go. Pulse, pulse, pulse. And up. So it's kind of hard not to do a little pulse in the squat, but you don't have to. You can just pulse with the upper for me. With the rhythm, I want to pulse low. Extend out pulse, pulse, pulse. And here. You got 10 seconds. And breathe. Good. All right, team, so hold it out. You're gonna pulse. Tap, tap, extend it out. Get low. Tap, tap, tap, extension. If that feels like too much for your brain, just alternate. Don't worry about it. Just get it in. Yes. Tap. I know. It's almost too much for my brain. Tap with the legs, then push everything out and down. Let's go one more each side. I think I might have done four instead of three. That's okay. Burn, right? All right, team, take all of those bands off, Set your weight down. Whatever it is for you. Let's get a little power. Jack plie. Bring it up. So a little cardio mobility. If you need a little less of those legs, you just keep it up top. If you want to add a little jump, you can. 30 seconds. Here we go. Cardio mobility. Sweep those arms. Opening it up. If you want to add a little hop, you can. Big circle of the arms. Stretch. Open up the hips. The idea is to keep that heart rate up. We're getting water after this. Look at that. We're 10 minutes down. We're a third of the way through this workout. Is that right? Yeah. Three, two, one. Catch your breath. Can't do math when I'm working hard. Tap it out. Grab a sip of water. Hopefully you felt your heart rate the entire time like I did. We're gonna keep it moving. All right, team, so take it down. Two, your mat. We're gonna get a little core interval in between. So if you have a band, we're gonna put it right at your feet. If you need to modify, instead of coming into that bicycle, you're going to bring the knee in just like this. You can even do a little tap, or you can do a bridge and Then a knee, if you can. We're taking out here. We're going to start with a little pull. We'll add some upper as we go. We'll keep it short. Go ahead and join me down here. Put that band over your feet. Feet flat or up, take them out. To create that tension in your hips, wrap that core and tilt that pelvis. Hips and ribs together. Here we go. Push out, pull in. What I want you to think about is that you're pulling in just as much as you're pushing out. I want you to use the resistance of the band. Breathe. To get that pull and that push. So we're starting with this again. You can also be bridge and knee or just knees from the ground. Five seconds, then we're gonna add some upper. If you don't have a band, just do the motion. Lift those shoulders. You're gonna touch in, touch in on the inside. Reach if you need to. Hands behind the head again, keeping the tension, keeping those feet pushing out. So we keep the hips working inner and outer, and then reach. So it's not a bicycle, it's a touch. So we get inner thighs as we pull in, but as we push out, we get outer right. Here we go. So we're gonna go out and in. Push those feet out and in. Can you see that? Push out and in. Outer thighs, inners who burn. Yes. Breathe. 10 seconds to go. If you're in that bridge, just stay in that bridge. We're bringing it up top in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Yes. Good core burn. Right, Bring it up. Who felt their inner and outers? I know I did. They. Those inners especially connect to that deep core. It's all working together, right? All right, team, so bring it up onto your feet. I want you to watch me first. Let's get a little tap right here for a little mobility. You can keep it right here. And then watch me. Me. We're gonna do a version of a lunge in a row. So if you have your band, your forward leg is gonna step on the band. You're gonna be here. Watch me. I want you to make it a close R or a close lunge. You're gonna lunge it down, pull up for the row, come up out of it. If you need to stay low with it, that's okay too. But drop it down, row at the bottom, come out of it. Then we'll split them up where we just get our lunge. We'll add a little hinge with it, and then we'll just get our row. Then we'll put them together. All right, so if you have a dumbbell, just so I can show you, you know this move well. Right lunge, row, come up out of it. Then we'll take it to a lunge and a hinge. Then we'll take it to a row, then we'll pulse it. All right, it's gonna be a long one because we got right side, left side. But we're gonna work our way down to being almost done with this work. So let's take it here. Zip up that core. Step on the band if you got it. You might want your lighter band. Amy says core in my band flew off my feet like a rubber band. That happens. All right, team, let's get it done. For 40 seconds, you're gonna lunge and row. Whatever that is for you. Zip it up. Shoulders back here. Here we go. Down row. 40 seconds. So as you're coming down, it's more of a lunge, so drop that back knee as you come up. It's going to feel a little bit more like that kickstand, right? We're getting hamstrings because we get the resistance from that front leg. Make sure you're getting a flat back. Pull that elbow up. You might have a shorter range of motion depending on how tight your band is. That's okay. We just want the pull motion. Right back, biceps, shoulders, and relax. We're gonna stay on this side. Let's get it done. You're gonna go one lunge, one hinge. Watch me. Down and hinge. Just like that. We got 40 seconds. Hold on to that band. If you can switch to a dumbbell or dumbbell if you need to. 3, 2, 1. Lunge it down, hinge it forward. Kickstand. We're keeping a kickstand. I don't want to take it to the one leg because I don't need anybody doing a one legged with a band where it might. You might get tripped up. You're also going to probably feel it more in that hamstring. Lunge and hinge. If you got that dumbbell, you're just holding the dumbbell right here. Lunge, hinge, Take it down and up. Yes. Five seconds. Burn. Three, two, one. Give your hand a little break. Little stretch back through here. All right, now we're gonna take it. You're staying this position. Just your row with the band or with the dumbbell? Either one is fine. Even if you have a band. If you need a break from holding it, you want to take it to a dumbbell, go for it. Otherwise Stagger. Here we go. Bring it up. Drop it down. It might help to rotate your wrist. Watch me. I'm turning the wrist in and back. Might help to have this hand here, too. Flat back, right. Breathe. Yes, you can. Again. If you got that dumbbell, you're just here. Bring it up. Squeeze. Still feel that leg, right? That's what we're gonna feel. 10 seconds. Wherever you are, let's finish it out. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Hey, Victoria. Get ready for supper. Is gonna do it tomorrow. Yes. All right, team, give your hand a little break. You know what? We got some pulses. Good news. We're just going 20 and 20. So we're gonna pulse down. Bring it up. 3, 3, 2, 1. Sorry. Row. We're gonna stay low, and then we'll post with that upper, and then we'll come out of the hinge. I'm gonna talk you through it. I'm gonna give you a few more seconds to stretch. So watch me again. Pulse, pulse, pulse. Drop it down. Let's start with the upper. Start with the row. Change my mind. Sorry about that, guys. Beauty of a live workout. Here we go. Get low. Pulse Euro. 3, 2, 1. Drop it low. 3, 2, 1. Drop it low. Drop that back knee to the ground if you can. I know. 3, 2, 1. 3, 2, 1. Last one. Watch me here. Pulse it down. 3, 2, 1, row. Come out of it. Drop it. Pulse. 3, 2, 1, Row. At the bottom. Come up out of the hinge. Three, two, into the heel. Row. Out of it. Yes, team. Three, two, one. Last one. Burn. Take that band off. Take it right here. Flex that foot. Stretch it out. I know, right? Yes. Team. Good news. We're gonna get all that on the other side, but it's good news because you know what to expect. We're gonna go through it quickly, and then we're down on the mat getting through this workout. So really flex that foot if you need a little stretch. Right here, Right? Take it here. So same thing. Other side. So if you found that that was too much with the band, feel free to switch to that dumbbell for the row if you want. Or mix it up in between. Kettlebell would work as well. You do what's best for you. Sip of water if you need it. I know I do. It's real hot. And we'll get the other side. Burn. So really, we basically had our push and our pull, and then we're getting rest core on the mat. All right. This band has seen some things. All right. What is that? Who knows? Stain for my kiddos. All Right. Zip up that core. Watch me again. Remember, it's a little half lunge, half hinge row. Come up out of it. If you need to do the dumbbell, that works too. We got 40 seconds. Ready? Here we go. Lunge row and up. So it's kind of like a lunge on the way down, then come out of the hinge down. I know it's a long time to be holding, gripping that band. So again, you need a little breather. Take it to the dumbbell squeeze. Make sure that back is flat. Alyssa says, I felt like that side lasted forever, right? I'm sure you're not the only one. I did, too. Breathe. Good. Keep it going. Even though we made it a little bit shorter. 3, 2, 1. And relax. Give your hand a break. We're taking it with the lunge and then the hinge, right? So drop it down with the knee. Hinge it forward with the hips. We got 40 seconds. Ready? Here we go. Lunge and hinge, right. Kickstand. Drop it down. Now, that band is across, right? So it's gonna pull you a little bit this way. I really want you to think about tightening in the core so you're not leaning into it, right? Your core has to work against the resistance. That's what we want. Drop it down and then check yourself. You also might find that you're being pulled this way or this way. Keep it going. Balance is right. Ashley, I hope that you're quoting me, balance, because I say that all the time. Last one. Boom. Give your hand a break. Taking it to just the row. Back to the basics here to here. If your hands need a break, you want to switch to that dumbbell, go for it. Otherwise, bring it in right here. Zip up the core. Here we go. Just your row up. Also, if you need to move into here, if that feels better for you. Or even here. Also an option. Right here. And breathe right through here. Pull that shoulder blade in. Up. You're probably not going to get your hand towards that rib cage like we would with a dumbbell, unless you're using a dumbbell. But I want you to still think about that elbow coming back, squeezing those muscles down the back. Posture muscles. Tiffany and I'm gonna do it tomorrow. They need a routine for Sunday. I love it. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Hand off. See, I told you this side would go quicker. Because we know what to expect. Let's drop it down. Pulse row. Bring it up. No, let's pulse with the upper first. 3, 2, 1. Everything down and up. 3, 2, 1. Just Ryan today, starting from the beginning. Ryan and Emily, thanks for joining. All right, team, zip up that core, then we're down on the mat. I promise. Here we go. Drop it low. Watch me. One time. Pulse for three. Everything down, all the way up. Here we go. Pulse. 3, 2, 1. And up. 3, 2, 1. And up. Hinge. 3, 2. Only 20 seconds. Stay with me. 3, 2, 1. One more. Yes, you can. Right here. Pulse with the knee. 3, 2, 1, row, everything up. Pulse the knee down. 3, 2, 1, Row. Everything up. Take your time with it. Yes. Balance. 3, 2, 1, row. And let's get one more. 3, 2, 1. Boom. Haha. Shake it out. Stretch right through here. I know that side did go a little faster, right? Hopefully I didn't forget anything. Stretch it out right here. You guys can let me know if I did. Ha. Breathe right through here. Stretch them out. Let's get a quick sip of water after this. Take it down to the mat. Let's finish this out. And breathe. Three, two, one. Quick sip of water. Team, join me down on the mat with your bands, with your dumbbells. I'm here. Burn. Right. All right, team, let's take it down really quick. Let's come down into a plank position. If you got your band, you're gonna put it right on the wrist, not on the hands. Let's give those hands a break. But you're on your wrist. We're gonna hold that plank. We're gonna take it side to side. We're also going to do a little lift and a lift. So if you want to have a second band, if you only have one, I want you to prioritize the upper body. If you want to have a second second band at your calves, you can do that too. We're gonna keep this quick, team. Right through here. So we're here. Breathe. There we go. On your elbows. Band here. Out, out. Lift, lift. All right, join me here. If you're modifying, I want you to stay on the knees and just press those knees up. Sorry. Here to here. Out and out. If you can come into that plank. We're starting in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Elbows out. Out. Lift. Lift. Watch me here. Out. Out. Leg lift, Leg lift. Shoulders. Glutes. As if our glutes needed any. Up and up. You got it. Out. Out. Lift, Lift. Ha. Burn. It's a short set. Don't worry. Up and up. 10 seconds. Breathe. Out. Out. Lift. Lift. On your side. Side, team. Band up above the knees. Right through here. You know it. We got a clamshell. We got a pull. If you want to have a dumbbell, you can do that too. We got 30 seconds each side. That's all we need. Lift up. Side plank, clamshell, row. Here we go. Bring it up. Drop it down. This hand is here flat. If you can see me holding it here, that's too many parts. Split them up. Clamshell, side plank, row, or all together, whatever you got. Everything's working hard, right? Think the bands just make us feel like we're totally strapped in and bound and wrapped up. Our body is just trying to get free, right? Good. Relax. Other side. I feel like that kind of just kind of describes the bands. What is a mini band workout? Your body just spends half an hour trying to get free knees. And here. Clamshell lift, row, separate or together? Here we go. Bring it up and down. And here. Yes, team, you got it all the way through that core. Core. Let's make it work. Yes. Breathe. Huh? Five seconds. Three, two, one. And relax. Yes, team. Oh, my gosh. Look at my clock. All right, bring it up. On to your feet. I think we got time for a bonus move. You can do this with or without a band above your knees if you want. We got Jack for two. We got Jack for two. That's all we got. Team, we're gonna go 60 seconds, so make it good. You can go low impact, too. You can stay up top the entire time if you want. Either way, let's get it done. Bonus move, One minute. In three, two, one. Here we go. You got two jacks. Squat it low, pop it back. Two plank Jacks. Bring it up. If that feels like too much. Low impact. And then walk it back. I don't want anybody to feel like you can walk it up too. The band is getting in their way. You can also just take that band off. That works, right? Step it out, step it out. Step it in and in. Halfway there. Bonus move goes slower when we don't have 10 things to do at once, right? Squat, pop it back out. In, pop it up. Yes, team, 15 seconds. Breathe. Five. No, 10. Oh. I really thought that'd go quicker. Yes. You gotta finish out your jacks, wherever you are. Boom. Take that band off. Yes, team. You did it. Shake it out. Ha. Thank you for hanging in with me for that. Grab some water. Whoo. Ah. Just a few little taps. You can roll those shoulders. Whatever you need to do. So if that heart rate come down, right? Ah, yes. Paula, you always have the option to go low impact. You know me. I'm gonna give you options. As long as you are here and you're moving. That's all that matters. Let's do a big stretch over. If you can. Grab this hand. Reach it over. Yes. Robin and Scotty, we are free. Freedom. We got out of the bed. I love it. Oh, my gosh. Robin, Scotty, how is your little guy doing? You guys missed it. I shared their story. I shared Robin's story a while back last year as one of my body fitters of the week. Other side. Breathe. I guess he's probably not so little anymore growing up. All right, stretch it back right through here. Grab behind if you can. A little hinge right through here if that feels okay. Otherwise, just reach through here. Let's take it down to the floor. I want you to hinge, pedal your feet and just slowly take it down to your knees. Take your time. Roll through. Yes. Three years, cancer free. Thank you, Robin, for that update. Amazing. Robin's story involved her getting her workouts in while he was going through treatments because it was a way that she could take care of herself. Such a powerful story. All right, team, if you're able, take it into that pigeon, right? Oh, right. If that's not right for you, you can be in that 90, 90, or you can sit this way. Either way, let's stretch that hip because those hips, glutes, outer thighs, inner thighs worked so hard. So do whatever you need to do. What gives you a good stretch through that hip, even if it is just crossing one leg over at a low angle and then roll through to that other side. Olivia says every time I went to a plank, Gigi thought it was a good time to get into my back. Yep, kids will do that. Also, pets, babies, and fur babies. Breathe into that other side. Again, whatever. Hip stretch is good for you. If you're able to hang out, team, we're gonna hang out, have a quick Q A for a few minutes. I'm going to talk a little bit about what is coming up in September. I hope that you are excited, because I know I am. We got one more week of sculpt. Bring it in the center. Take those knees out. Out. Laura. Yes. I'm so glad you liked it, Laura. One of our superstars, always showing up. So proud of you. So proud of all of you for being here and hanging with me today. Getting wrapped up in a minivan and then getting ourselves free. Let's get one big, deep breath in and out. You do. You did it. That was your minivan sculpt workout. Great job, everybody. All right, team, I'm gonna grab my computer if you want to Hang out. We'll chat for a few minutes. If you have any questions, I'll answer what I can. And of course, I'm going to talk a little bit about what is coming up. We have one more week of sculpt, and then we're going into September and we're gonna burn, so get excited. All right, team, thank you. Thank you. Grab your water, and if you're hanging out, make sure you sneak in a few more stretches. That's what I'm gonna do. Oh, He's a strong 13 year old now. Oh, man. And I hope the girls are doing well too. Oh, good work. All right, thanks. Elizabeth and Mike and Benjamin and Nathaniel. Hopefully everybody made it through. You'll have to let me know in the bac. All right, team, so if you have any questions, put them in the chat now. I'm going to try to answer as many as I can. You all know, during these lives, that is when I try to answer questions at the end. But if you really want to get your questions answered, if you really want to get more support on your journey, I highly recommend checking this out. In the Body Fit athletic club, we do Q and A's every week live. I do one. Vivian, our Body Fit dietitian, does one. We do a lot of myth busting. We do a lot of covering hot topics in nutrition and fitness. You get the meth and nutrition plan, but you get a lot of this right. You get a lot of me answering. Yesterday we had a office hours where we all got to see each other's faces and say hi and answer questions in real time. So it's a lot of fun. So if you're thinking that you need more of that and you connect with with my style, trust me, Vivian's style when it comes to nutrition is very similar. We're all about healing your relationship with food, enjoying food, all foods fit, finding freedom in food. That is what we are when it comes to nutrition. Nourishing our bodies, moving our bodies. So we'd love for you to join us in the athletic club if that is right for you. Awesome. Jacqueline. Loved it. But I always love your workouts. Oh, thank you, Jacqueline. Ah. Mary Ellen says fans are starting to grow on me. I know it takes some times. Not everybody loves the bands. And sometimes, as I always remind you, I mean, I didn't as much here, but they're going to roll up. Look, it's a piece of elastic or it's a piece of fabric. Whatever it is, they're going to move. They're going to roll you're going to feel awkward and off balance. And that is part of why it works. Right. Again, we feel like we're struggling to get out of it. Our muscles are contracting and working so hard, hard. But I totally understand if you don't love them. I love the burn, but sometimes in the middle, I'm like, oh, this is so hard. So I get it, Marianne. Let's see. All right. Yes. Jenny in the bac. We are like a family. It's awesome. Amy wants to know which bands are best. Yeah. And Robin, I'll get to your question too. So if you say I have the cloth one, so it depends. I really like the cloth ones. If you're just doing, like, some lower body stuff, we. We ran out of time to do it. But, you know, I love a good bridge. You know, things like that. If you're just pressing out, the cloth can be really good for that. I do like the elastic ones because they do get more stretchy. So if you want to do that upper body stuff again, I'll make sure that I put it in the chat after this. But I have a link for Hope Fitness here, which is what these are. Which are the best ones that I found so far. And they're really stretchy. And you can get a pack, I think it's three or four, and they're all different ones. So you have a thicker one for your lower body. You have a couple other options that are better for upper body, but they also have variety packs where you can get some of the cloth and some of these. So that would be my best recommendation. They also have the long thera bands, which I should do some workouts on, but they. They give you other options as well. So they have lots of different bundles that you can buy. I recommend again, because they're not very expensive and they're easy to store to get a few. But I do love these for lower body, but they don't work as well for the upper body stuff, so. All right. So Robin was asking, wondering if you have any good tips for bad backs and sciatic nerve. Sciatica. Sciatica is so challenging. So all your hamstring stretches, and especially if you can sit on the edge of a chair, I can't show you right now, but. And lean into that. That can really help. So your hamstring, your hip flexors, honestly, like, it's a little hit or miss with massage therapy, but sometimes that can be really helpful. Sometimes when we have nerve, you know, like a pinched nerve or shooting pain in our nerves, if we Release the tension. If we get that, what we call myofascial release around the muscles surrounding those nerves, it takes some pressure off. Right. So but again, it's hit or miss. Some people have great experiences when they get massage or a foam roller or things like that when they have nerve pain. For some people, it's not as helpful. My best recommendation, Robin, if it's an option for you, Robin, or Scotty, I'm not sure who is having the pain is to talk to a physical therapist. If you can get physical therapy, they are so knowledgeable and they'll be able to hands on. Say, here's what is happening, here's how to help. I also think making sure whatever you do all day long, whether it's picking up kids, whether it's working at a desk, whether it's manual labor, that you're getting stretch breaks and movement breaks throughout your day, throughout your job, because I think especially when you have three, three kids, you spend a lot of years picking them up, holding them. So it could just be needing to re. Strengthen your back and your core and get those stretches in those things that we do all day long. So hopefully that's helpful. Let me know. Let's see. Yes. Mary Ellen's got it right. I use the cloth for the lower and the elastic for upper. That's the way to do it if you can. Yes. Lori would like to do more workout band workouts. Challenging and tough, but I loved it. So we got one coming on the schedule this week. Last week of Sculpt Wednesday, we have mini band. I think it's called Tone and Sculpt similar where we get some longer sets, where we really get some good burn. You can also do it with dumbbells and you can also switch it out for another workout, but it's a new one. It should be a lot of fun. Oh, Scotty, I'm so sorry. He's really struggling with back pain. Yes, please, please, please, please try to get. Listen, I know especially as parents and especially with what you guys have been through, we sometimes neglect taking care of ourselves because we're taking care of our kids. I think that goes for a lot of us. We're taking care of everybody else around us. So make sure. Try to see if you could get some physical therapy. Even if he just went a few times and could learn some things to do at home. You know, I can give you suggestions, but you really want to see someone who can see you in person and give you some ideas. So sorry about that, Scotty. Back pain is the worst Ah, Julia, hamstrings are on fire. I know, right? So when I first was programming that sequence, I thought, well, you know, it's a lunge, but it's kind of a hinge, so maybe we'll get the same feeling as a deadlift. They were feeling it, right? Yes, I'm here. Says I really felt the lunge row moves in the hamstrings. Is that normal? Yes, normal, normal. Most of us have too tight hamstrings again from the things we do all day, sitting in the car again, I'm here, you know, taking care of kids all day, all of that. So anytime you can get some breathing and some stretching in the hamstrings. But if you felt that, it's because you were working them really hard. So nothing wrong with you, but we all have tight hamstrings, so, yes. All right, team, anybody else have any other questions, you can put them in the chat. I do want to talk a little bit about September. So we are starting on Monday. I believe that's September 5th. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Let me look. Let me look at my calendar here. Okay. Which is Labor Day here in the US So we are starting. We will have finished out our summer Fit series. Sweat, Shred and Sculpt. You all have rocked it out and I've been so proud of you. You have crushed it. So we'll be wrapping that up. We have one more week, then we're going into September. Now, I know so many of you have talked about how you've enjoyed the shorter workouts. We won't be keeping them 25 minutes, but we will just be going to 30 minute workout workouts in September. So 30 minute workouts, 30 minutes or less. Some of them might be a little bit shorter all month long. Again, I know it's busy as we're getting back into the routine, into fall, into back to school, all of that. So we are going to keep them shorter on the shorter side, which I hope still works out for everybody. But we've got lots of fun new formats coming. So September's challenge will be called Burn. So get excited about it. We'll be releasing more information on that this week. Lots of fun things happening in the Body Fit Athletic Club. I will be breaking down, like body part specific and how to really make the most out of your training for your glutes. You're training for your core. Are you really engaging your core? I'm going to be breaking that down in the athletic club. Viviana is going to be breaking down Sugars So all the questions people have, of course, what about artificial sweeteners? What about plant based, what about agave? What about maple syrup? She's going to be breaking that down because I think those are super, super common questions. Again, as you all in the BAC know, we don't want you to restrict food. We are not big on cutting things out. We call it nutrition by addition, not restriction. But I think a lot of us have questions about sugar because there's, there's so much information out there. So that's a lot of what we're trying to do is cut out the noise and give you the real information about nutrition and fitness because there's a lot out there that we're surrounded with and we really dive into the research and the science and give you the facts. So let's see. Thank you, Mikayla. Thank you for being my bodyfit family, being part of what kept me sane in my first semester. Mikayla, who is in med school, so medical school, I mean, I've never been, but I know it's not easy. So I am so proud of you, Mikayla, for continuing to show up for your workouts. I'm sure that's helping you in every other way beyond the obvious of just keeping your body healthy. But you know, it's helping you with all the cognitive benefits we get out of workouts, of staying alert and all the things that you're learning in your classes and again, hopefully giving you a break from the hard stuff and keeping you sane like you said. So we are so proud of you, Mikayla. Let's see. Oh, thanks, Amy. Thank you for all your hard work. Julia, do you have any workouts incorporating battle ropes if not planned in the future? So no. And yes, I have a set of battle ropes. I love them. I used to teach in gyms where I would teach a class that involved them. Not a lot of people have them, but I know a lot of people use them at gyms or some people have them at home. So I'm currently, as I've, I think I've told some of you building it, we're building a new gym space. It will be bigger. We're not exactly sure when it's done. It's mostly done, but we're waiting on just everything else to be finished. So once we do, we'll have a bigger space. So I'm hopeful that we could do some type of workout or at least give you some options of some, some ways to work with your battle ropes. Love battle ropes. Yeah. And oh yes, this Is great news. Team Headbands are back in stock. You all have asked forever. It has taken a while for us to find a good supplier because I'm super picky about them and I want to make sure that they're really a good quality for. For you. But if you want a Body fit headband with the logo, we finally have them. We're very lucky because also we found somebody local here in LA who can do the work for us. So hopefully they will not be out of stock, but we would love to get them to you guys first. So go on the website. Is it. Oh, not updated? I mean, they have been. They're being delivered today. Okay. They're being delivered today. So we are going to. To. We will have them up on the website, so check back. We're gonna get them delivered today and then we can get them out to you guys. So if you're looking for a headband or you've been looking for a long time, as I know so many of you have, check out our website later. Oh. Oh, thanks, Robin. Yes. Try that smoothie. So good. Yes. Let's get to 1 million subscribers, please. If you haven't subscribed, make sure you subscribe. Share with your friends. Tell them to subscribe. I would love to get to a million by the end of the years. Carmela is excited about headbands. I'm gonna make sure I didn't miss any questions. Oh, Amy's asking. I gotta ask. How many workouts do you do every day? It depends. I am not working out all day every day. It depends on how much I'm filming. It depends on. On. As you guys know, we're releasing new workouts almost every day. At least this last week we did. We do Saturday Lives. We do some quick hits. So I would say I'm working out at a normal level. Some days I'm filming two in a day. Sometimes a little bit more, sometimes a little bit less. And on Thursday, I think, was it Thursday? I actually did a workout that I didn't film that was just for me, which doesn't happen very often. And it was amazing. So I love it. I love. I've gotten to the point now where even when it's just me in this studio filming, I can feel you guys. I know that you're out there and I'm channeling you and keeping the energy up. So I really enjoy it. But don't worry, I make sure that I get breaks and then I take care of my body too. But the answer is one to three. That's the difference between me and Kurt. Kurt will give you the straightforward. This is the answer. One to three workouts a day, 10 to 12 a week. 10 to 12 a week. And then I'm going to give you the, you know, 20 minute version of. Let me explain. Those are personality types. It's really fun in our house. Okay, team, so Burn starts next week. I'm really excited. Thank you so much for being here today. Get your headband, make sure you're on the email list so you can get your cat calendars and join us in the Body Fit Athletic Club if you can. Have a great rest of your weekend, everybody. Thanks for joining me and working so hard. I will see you soon.
