LIVE 35 Minute SummerFit Sweat Party Workout - Sweat Day #30

This live 35-minute SummerFit “Sweat Party” workout (Sweat Day #30) is an upbeat guided fitness session led by Amy Schemper. The class cycles through multiple themed circuits—each circuit contains three 40-second moves (strength, cardio, mobility) followed by a fourth ‘choose-your-own-adventure’ round where participants pick which move to repeat. Exercises use bodyweight or optional kettlebell/dumbbells and include swings, squat-to-curtsy, disco skaters, rows-to-curls, plie rotations, core bicycle/double-leg stretches, mountain-climbers/down-dog mobility, and a one-minute bonus clean-to-squat-press sequence. Amy notes she’s recovering from illness and instructs participants to scale intensity; she closes with announcements about the upcoming “Shred” challenge (starting Monday) and membership/promo details for the athletic club.

We are closing out the the month of sweat and we are having a party. That's why. Okay. That's why I am wearing the pink pants. Hey, Tammy is here. Olivia is here. Okay. Okay. All right. Can you guys go with Daddy? What is wrong with my name? Oh, no. Okay. All right, let's say bye. Let's say bye here. Maya, you want to take your sign? Bye. Bye, Papa. Happy Saturday Sign. She did that all herself. Hey, Elizabeth. Popping in to say hi first live for some of you. Okay. Okay. You got it. You got it. Okay. Okay. Say bye. Bye. All right, team. So welcome. Welcome. I am so happy to be here with you all. I have to tell you, I am recovering from illness. I've been a little bit sick this past week. So I'm gonna listen to my body. I'm gonna be where I am today, and I will take it pretty easy today. It's going to be a fun format. Jean is here. Memphis is here. Excellent. See, there you go. So. So I'm going to be extra, extra careful, but I am feeling good and I am ready to move with all of you. Tiara is here. Natalie. Excellent. Stephanie, first live. Welcome. Okay, so the main thing for me is I'm going to try to not go too heavy on my voice today. My body actually feels really good, but a little bit hoarse. Ellie is here to party. Yes. So, as you know, I like to talk, so I'm going to try not to talk as much during these circuits. We have a really fun format today where we. Well, I'm just going to talk you through it when we get there, but party format, so get excited. Laura, Happy Saturday from Canada. Both kids are working out with you today. Excellent. Happy Canada Day yesterday, I think. Right. All right, team. So make sure you have some space. Make sure that you have your weight. So I know I didn't say it in the previews, but we are going to be working a little bit with weights today. But if you don't have them, that's okay, too. But if you do have them, we will use them. For some of the circuits. Tracy is here from Virginia. Yay. I'm from Virginia. Melissa is here. First live. Alozia. Yes. Excellent team. All right, so I'm going to get my timer going here and I'm going to get the airflow. So again, make sure you have some space. Also make sure that you are hydrating. Team. I'm going to make sure I'm hydrating before everybody grab a sip of water before Jen is here. Hello. And make sure you get water throughout. All right, so go ahead, give yourself some space. Go ahead and just start moving your body. Breathe. Melissa says. So the little voice might be louder than you today. Yes. If you got one of my workouts. I said I'm. I'm louder than that little voice in your head. Maybe not today, but most days. Elsa is ready to party. Alexis, on your first live. Love it. All right, so let's get the blood flowing. Laura, ready to party. Let's do it. I'm gonna get my energy up. Feels good to move. Bonnie is here. Ready to party. Also, Rachel, take it side to side. So usually, team I like to hang out and do a Q A. I'm gonna rest my voice today. So we won't do a Q A today, but we'll just say hi and bye at the end. But we will be back full speed next week. Don't worry. Let's just shift it side to side into those hips. Open it up. Big reach right through here. And let's take it flat back down and round it up all the way through. So we are closing out sweat, which was our first challenge. Hold it here. Of our summer fit challenge. We're moving into shred. That starts Monday. I hope you are excited for shred. I know I am. Let's take it right here. Let's step back, open up those hips. Big reach. Take it here and here. Let's hold this one right here. I want you to do a big stretch over, take it down, reach it up, Drop that knee, take that top arm, reach under and up. Take it back to that high plank from here. Just a little forward and back. And then let's do a little down dog and back at your own pace. Doesn't have to look perfect. Mine doesn't. And then take a big step with that other leg. Reach it up, drop that knee, take that top arm, reach under and up and step it in. Round it up. All right, tap and reach across. Julie is here. Kayla joining. Just finished body weights about a hardcore. All right, team, so we are going to be getting a party Today. So summer fit sweat party. Reach it over. If you don't have them, make sure you have some dumbbells or some kettlebells if you have them. Otherwise, we can keep it body weight. Here is how it's gonna work. We are going to have a quick circuit. Paula is here. Welcome. Hamstrings. Bring them up. We'll have a quick circuit of three moves. It's going to be a strength, a cardio, and a mobility. All right, we'll have a little bit of fun with it. They will complement each other. So it might be a lower body circuit, upper body core. They will complement each other. You'll see. Once we get going with it, take it across right here when we get to that fourth set. So we'll have car or strength, cardio and mobility. And then it is choose your own adventure. You have one more round. There'll be 40 seconds each. Your last round is whatever you need it to be. So you can pick from the three we just did. You can pick to redo the strength. You can pick to redo the cardio or the mobility. Step it up. I'm gonna tell you right now, I'll probably do a lot of mobility. In case you missed it in the beginning. I'm recovering from. From illness, so I'm gonna take it easy and listen to my body. Today, Brittany is going to cut the grass with her son. Oh. Who just turned two. Wow. Michaela. I can't believe this is the last day of sweat. Jess is gonna do it tomorrow. All right, so that's what we got. Three moves, 40 seconds each. We have a strength, we have a cardio, we have a mobility. And then you get to pick, because it's a party. Choose your own adventure for move four. All right, so go ahead and grab. I'm gonna start with my kettlebell. So our first one is a lower body circuit. Watch me right here. You're gonna squat it down, then you're gonna curtsy it. So you're gonna squat and curtsy it. If you want, you can be goblet here, then drop it low, then cling it to squat, then drop it low. Totally up to you. If you want to just keep this body weight, you just keep it here. Are we ready? 40 seconds. Here we go. Squat to curtsy. So as I told you, all the moves are gonna complement each other. So we got strength. You need to go just body weight. Maybe that's me, because my muscles are tired today. And here, drop it down. Remember, if you want, you can cling here. Drop it down. Down and up. 10 seconds. And here. Take it low. Low. 3, 2, 1. Set your kettlebell to the side. That was our strength, but also got our heart rate up. Right now we've got our cardio. We're gonna get our favorite skater right. We're gonna put a little party spin on it. And I want you just little disco skater. All right, if you want. Otherwise, just keep it regular. Skater. Here we go. Up to you. Low impact, which is where I'm gonna stay. Have fun with it. It's a party or a little higher. Up to you and breathe. Take it here. I don't know what music Kurt put on, but hopefully it goes with these dance moves. Again, you can take it a little quicker, a little lower. You do what's best for you. Obviously, I'm taking it easy. Three, two, one. And breathe. Yes, team, we made it to mobility. Here's what we got. We're gonna squat it down. You're gonna extend it up through here. Drop it low, reach it up. So still getting that lower body ready? Here we go. Squat down, hands down. Extend it up and up. Take it low. Get that extension. Hamstrings. Keep it moving. Sit low in that squat, and then really extend in that hinge so we get those hamstrings. So you still feel those legs. We're still getting lower body, even though it's our mobility move. Five seconds. Yes, team, we made it. To move forward, choose your own adventure. What do you need more of? Do you want that squat to curtsy using your kettlebell? Go for it. Do you want your disco skater? Have fun with it. Or do you want that mobility? It is up to you. I'm gonna go disco skater. Here we go. You pick. You can do squat to curtsy. You can do disco skater. You can do mobility. Remember that mobility what we just did here to here. Get that stretch. Really lengthen at the top. Keep it going. This is it for this circuit. I told you. They complement each other. So I hope your legs are feeling it, hope your heart rate is feeling it. I know mine is. 15 seconds. Yes, team. Trying to rest my voice. I'm not doing a very good job in my. 3, 2, 1, water. Catch your breath, team. Tap it out. All right, in between these rounds, we'll get some swings. So. So how about we put a swing in since those legs are warmed up and ready to go? If you've never done a swing or you're just not feeling it today, you can take it to just a deadlift. You can do one kettlebell. You can do Two dumbbells. You can do body weight. It's up to you. Let's get 30 seconds of a swing, then we're going to round two. Upper body. Roll those shoulders back, core. Is it in the center? Prep it. 3, 2, 1, power. Let it drop. Remember, you're pushing those heels into the ground. Whole foot into the ground. Just getting chest, eye level, not any higher. Arms are getting the work, but not doing the work, right? 10 seconds. Drive it up. Lock it up. 3, 2, 1. And relax. Pedal those feet. All right, team, let's grab your dumbbells. Get those weights out of the way. All right, so here's what we got. So something a little light to medium or medium to heavy, I should say. We're gonna take it with a row. Oh, my hair's in the way. And a curl, so watch me hinge. So I want you to go a little wider with that row up into a curl. Hinge wide with the row, up into a curl. We're gonna start with that. Then we'll get some cardio, then we'll get some mobility. Let's get it done. 3, 2, 1. So, yes, we are sneaking in a little deadlift. Up and curl, hinge wide, row all the way up and curl. Take your time. Squeeze. Yes. Squeeze in those shoulder blades. So what I mean by going a little bit wider, so instead of those elbows close, we're going a little bit wider. You don't have to go super wide, but kind of slightly split the difference so we still get those back muscles. And then as you come up, connect with the core glutes and then bring it up. I know we're getting lower body, and it's our upper body circuit, but you can do it. 3, 2, 1. Breathe. Weights to the side. Here's what we got, team. We're gonna get some punches, but I want you to have a little flare to it. So it's corner to corner. Punch going 20 seconds right. 20 seconds left. I want you to really have a good time with it and make it a dance move. Here we go. Yes. So you're here. You can just step it, too. It can be a punch or it can just be a reach. Right? Just like that. Party, party. Five seconds on this side. Three, two, one. Switch your sides. Corner to corner. Punch or big reach, party, dance move, whatever you got. I don't care if you look silly or you feel silly. You don't look silly. If you feel silly, embrace it. Have a good time. It's a party. 3, 2, 1. Relax, right? Catch your breath. Let's get some good mobility. So we're gonna get that hinge again. I want you to really bring it up, stretch it back, fold it over, stretch it back. Let's get it done. 3, 2, 1. So you're hinging it down, Bring it up, hinge it down, bring it up, down, and up. I know it looks simple, but I want you to think about that hinge so we get all through the back of the body. And then as you come up, think about that pull down as if you were doing a pull down with a bar or weights. Right? Keep it going, squeeze it, drop it down. Hinge and pull. Upper body, back of the body. Tammy says party is definitely my favorite workout. I love it. 3, 2, 2, 1. Relax. All right, this is it, team. Your last of this circuit. So you pick. You can go row to curl. That's what I'm gonna do. You can mix up. I'll tell you at the halfway point. You can do your whoo or your punch corner to corner, or you can hinge and bring it up. Let's get it done. Hinge it here or whatever works for you. Choose your own adventure. Ready? Here we go. So I'm gonna go wide row. I'm gonna bring it up and curl. But again, you pick. You can do the strength move with me. You can get that cardio. I'm going to show you all of them side to side. Party. Party. We're at that halfway point. So if you're doing cardio, take it here or punch. Yes. Five seconds to go. Keep it moving. Five, four, three, two, and one. Yes. Team, grab some water. We're taking it to the core. Breathe. All right, how about we take it to the floor for some core? I'm gonna do that, but you. You better believe. I'm gonna adjust my fan because it is warm here today. All right, so down on your back. We'll get the swing. Don't worry. We're gonna come back to it. But let's come down on your back. Hug those knees in, get a little stretch. Be where you are today. All right, so we're gonna get some core. So we're going to start with that bicycle and then all the way out. So you're going one and one, and then double leg stretch. Everything goes around two bicycles, double leg stretch. Then we're going to take it to some. Some cardio. You know, I love it. A mountain climber. Then we'll get some mobility with a down dog. I'm going to give you lots of different options, so stay with me. Lots of core. Let's get it moving. Wrap that core in, hips to ribs. 3, 2, 1. So bicycle and bicycle. Both arms and legs out and around. Side to side. Out and around. Keep it moving. Modification. You can do this standing, or you can just do a bridge right through here. Talking too much. Deep core out and around. Keep it moving. 10 seconds. Last one. Right here. Yes. Hug it in. All right, going to cardio. If you're modifying, you can take this to a standing mountain climber. Just bring those knees up. Or you can just tap it back or take it to your bird dog. Up to you. You can tap it in or you can run it in. We're going to try to cross those knees. Ready? Here we go. So take them across. Tapping it or running it. We want the core working either way. If you're standing, I want you here just like that. All right? Core working, cardio up, Everything working together. All right, Keep it going. I'm gonna keep it low impact, but if it's up, if it's good for you, you run it. Keeping those shoulders right above the elbows. As we get tired, we're not going back to here, right? Five seconds. Cross them. Three, two, one. Stretch it back. Give your wrists a little break. Two options on this. If it's better for you, I want your mobility to be that bird dog, if you can. We're gonna go down dog, little petal, slowly back to plank. Up to you. Whatever is better for you. Bird dog or down dog, plank. Ready? Here we go. Down dog, pedal your feet. Use your core. Back to center. Down dog, pedal your feet. Now, if you are a yoga person or you've got the flexibility, mobility to do it, you can also take it all the way to that up dog or cobra, and then back to down dog. Up to you. If you want that little extra, bring it up. Not everybody's into that, but you can. Five seconds. Three, two, one. And relax. What do you got, team? Do you want strength? Do you want cardio? You want mobility? I'm gonna keep. Keep the mobility. I'm gonna do that down dog again. Roll those wrists. You can do mountain climber standing or down, or you can do that cross and that in and out. Let's get it done. Choose your own adventure. Here we go. Take it up, take it forward. Or maybe you're a mountain climber. Whatever you got, breathe into it, right? Or take it here side to side. Everything out and around, side to side. Either way, we're getting that core working. We're also working that upper body from that plank Position. I know. So let's Finish it up. 10 seconds. Last 5, 4, 5, 3, 2, and 1. Yes, team. Look at that. We are over halfway there. Grab a sip of water. All right, so how about a little compound movement? All right, team, so what do we got? Let's get a little swing. I promised you a swing, right? Grab your kettlebell. We're going to take it back to a swing. Core is engaged. Remember, you can take it with a deadlift. It's that hinge motion, right? Core is zipped. We're going to power it up, block it out, let it drop if you want. Just that again if you need to, just keep your regular deadlift. We got 30 seconds of a swing. Kettlebell or dumbbell or body weight, whatever is good for you. Hinge it, prep it. 3, 2, 1. Power. Let it drop. Zip it up. All the way through. Yes, team, bring it up. Let it drop all the way through. Yes. You can lock out at the top, squeezing those armpits, hips. Remember, because you're not lifting, you're keeping them close to your side. We got three, two, one, and relax. Pedal it right here. Breathe. All right, team, so let's go dumbbells. Why not? All right, so here's what we got. I'm going light. It's up to you. We are gonna take it with a plie right here. Compound movement, because we're gonna get them together. You're here. We're gonna drop it down, we're gonna reach it up. We're gonna drop it down, we're gonna reach it up. So now we're going into compound movements. We're gonna get a lot of things working together. We isolated. Now let's get everything going. Keep that heart rate up, right? You're still feeling it. Chest. Reach it out. Wrap it in. If you want to do both at the same time, you can. It is up to you. Zip up that core. Starting with strength. Roll those shoulders back. Three, two, one. Here we go. Plie. Rotate it out. Rotate it in. Get low. Rotate it out and in. Yes. Here to here. Now, you may be able to go higher than me or heavier than me, but make sure you get that. Rotate in. So we get chest and shoulders as well as core and legs. Right here. Take it up. Yes. There we go. Breathe. Five seconds. Three, two, one. And relax. All right, team, so let's take it here. Ha. All right, so we're gonna take it. Keeping the legs and the upper body working. We're going side to side. Back for four. So your dance version is going to look like this. Slide, slide, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1. Your cardio version is just slide, slide, jog it back up to you. It's a party. Have fun with it. In three, in two, in one, slide it on the diagonal. Slide, squeeze, slide, squeeze, run it back. Or slide, slide, 4, 3, 2, 1. Yes. Yes. You can have fun with it. I know. I feel silly too, but I'm gonna enjoy it because it's Saturday. I'm gonna get low to keep my legs working. Arms and shoulders. Run it if you want. Yes. Three, two, one. Right. Breathe, team. All right, so upper body and lower body. Let's take it to that wide world's greatest stretch. Reach it up if you can. Step it back into that plank, then step it wide from here. That's your mobility. If you need to take it from up top, from the standing position, if you need to avoid the plank, go for that. All right, team. In the plank or standing up, world's greatest stretch. Alternate your legs. Core zipped, because core is working too. In 3, 2, 1. Here we go. Step it wide. Reach it up, take it down, Step it back. Step it wide. Feel that hip opening and through the chest and spine. Try to get that foot up right by your hand if you can. If you've got that flexibility, remember, you can be from the top too. If this is better for you, step it in down. 10 seconds. You got it, team. Yes. And relax. Shake it out. Last one of this round, you pick. Choose your own adventure. Plie. Rotate that press. You got your slide and your hop back. You got your world's greatest stretch. Pick it. Whatever is best for you. Let's take a second to catch our breath. That's kind of for me, right? Keeping that cardio up the entire time. What do you need in this moment? What does your body need? What does your brain need to finish this out? Do you need strength? Do you need cardio? Do you need dance? Do you need mobility? Let's get it done. I'm going strength. Three, two, one. Here we go. You pick. It's your party, your workout, all the way through. Yes, you can do it all the way up and down. Remember, if you need that party, jog it back. Or slide. Slide. 4, 3, 2, 1. You do you finish it out. 5 seconds. 3, 2, 1. Water. Yes, team. One more round. Woo. Let's get a swing before we get that done. Last swing, team. Let's keep it regular. Just to keep it simple, down in the center. Remember, power back. Power it up, not power back. Let it drop. Power it up. Lock it at the top. Core, legs, glutes. Let it drop. Stay with me. I'm gonna try not to talk, but you know the drill. Shoulders back. Core engaged. Hinge it here. Prep it. 3, 2, 1. Lock out at the top. Don't forget about the core. Yes. You can see I can't do it. I gotta keep talking. Breathe. Five. Last one. Relax. Pedal. Yes. Team, you did it. All right, down onto your back. Team, our strength is going to be down, kettlebell or dumbbell. I'm going with the kettlebell. We're gonna get core and upper. We got compound, lower and upper before. Watch me here. So one kettlebell or dumbbells? Triceps. If that doesn't feel right or secure for you, I want you to go close grip press. You'll still get those triceps working. And either your leg lower. And scissors or a bridge. Whatever is better for you. Let's get that done. That's your strength. We'll stand for a little bit of mobility. Sorry. We'll stand for a little bit of cardio. We'll come back down for some mobility. All right, let's get it done. Breathe. Bring it up nice and strong. Core engage. Whether your bridge or leg lower. 3, 2, 1. Triceps. Leg lower. Here to here. Flex the foot if you're there. If you're bridge, everything comes up. So we really want to activate those tries. You can go down and up if you want. Bridge works, too. Up to you, team. Yes, you can. Or towards the end of this workout. We are still so close. I know. Half, five, four, three, two, one. You know what? Let's stay down right here. Let's go ahead and do our mobility. So stay with me down here. We'll mix up our order this time. Mobility. Then we'll get cardio. We're gonna do that open book. Let your legs drop. Legs. And please go around. And you go around. If that's not right for you, you can do the same thing standing. But we're opening up the knees and the hips. Here we go. And the shoulders. Arms and legs and knees go around. If you need to watch me one time. Check out your screen. Knees open, arms open. Rotate through that spine. You know, I like to sneak your mobility in to the workout because. Right. Lot of us don't get enough of this. Right. Really think about hip opener, shoulders all the way through. Yes. Five seconds. Good. And relax up onto your feet. Let's finish with some cardio. You know I love it. We're gonna do either just your knees or twist and knees. Cardio Party. It's a party. Whatever you got, team. Knees or twist and knees. Here we go. Twists, knees. Have fun with it. We are so close. Gorgeous knees. This works too. Low impact or high, you do you. It's your workout. Twist it for core or just get those knees. Five seconds. Three, two, one. And breathe. That wore me out. All right, this is it, team. Last. Choose your own adventure. You can do just that. Keep it going. You can do triceps and leg lower. That's where I'm gonna be. You can do open book for mobility, but let's finish it out. Last round. Ready here? Oh, we go. Focus on that breath. Whatever you're doing, connect with the core. And whatever you're doing, have fun with it. Yes. Here we go, team. Five seconds to go. Three, two, and one. Relax. Ha. Grab a sip of water. We made it through those circuits. I don't know about you guys, but I think we got time for a bonus move. What do you think? All right, grab your weights, dumbbells, if you got them. Let's see. I'm gonna go here. Here we go. We're gonna go clean to a squat. Press a knee, press a knee, pop it back, pop it in, all the way up, right? So you got to come up out of that deadlift, then back to the clean squat, press a knee. Opposite knee, opposite knee. It's just a pop back. Nothing fancy about that plank. Can we do it? One big deep breath in. One minute to go. This is it. Have fun. It's a party. In three, two, one. Here we go. Clean, squat it down. Opposite, press opposite knee, and then just a pop back, pop it in, come up out of the deadlift, Back to the top. Clean squat. Press a knee, press a knee, hinge it down, pop it back, come up out of the deadlift first. Back to your clean. You got it, team. If you want to take that pop back out of it, you can just keep going with the clean. Pressing knee, pressing knee. Just a hinge. Bring it back up. Clean. Squat, pressing me and being where I am today, which might be not finishing this whole bonus move, but we got 10 seconds. Whatever you got, team. Wherever you are. Down. Pop it back. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Yes. You did it. How do we feel? Catch your breath. Set those weights down, grab some water. Yes, Team Jenna. Happy Saturday, Laura. Thank you for being here, Laura. One of my superstars.
