A brief YouTube motivational monologue urging listeners to practice body gratitude and appreciate bodily function and movement. The speaker reassures that the body is "for you, not against you," acknowledges moments of difficulty (mirrors, workouts, emotional/physical challenges), and frames "body gratitude" as a personal goal for the year.
You feel those good vibes? Do you feel the blood and the oxygen flowing through your body? I hope you do, because I do. That is your body saying, thank you for moving with me today. That is your future self saying, thank you. Thank you for moving me today. Remember, your body is for you. Your body is not against you. I know sometimes it feels that way. Maybe it feels that way. Maybe for you, it's when you look in the mirror. Maybe it's when you're in a workout, or maybe it's when you're trying to do something else, physically or emotionally. Sometimes it feels like our body is against us. But I promise you, your body is for you. I know it's not always easy, and you don't have to try to force that every day. But if we can have that respect for our body, we can know that our body is for us. If we can have that appreciation for all the things that we can do instead of focusing on what we think we can't, it makes a big difference. That's one of my goals for this year. Body gratitude.
