The thing is, on the cross country, though, they've got to understand they can't just go high, you know, they've got to go across the jump as well. So we'll see. What again, now he's all right. Let's see.
He is off heading to one. Good shot there. Wow. Boyd and Fetterman B now up the mound to three at the John Deere table.
That's a good start anyway. You know, he was not overly aggressive the first two, but then fence three set him up beautifully and. And this will be a good education for this horse, too, to go at this speed and the intensity of the course. Got a nice tight turn, nice getaway.
I think he's going for it, Phil.
Oh, is that right? There's not many times Boyd doesn't go for it, but when I said, whoa, I thought he was going to go for four, but he knew better and went for three. So he could kind of, if he keeps up this click like this, and then he could really settle him down and just give him a couple seconds breathing time before he comes through the water, because this would be a bit of a test for this horse at this level.
Crowd really getting into it. You can see everyone clapping and cheering them on.
Yeah, it's a great crowd too, isn't it?
Great crowd today. All right, here we come up to our influential few jumps. 10, 11, 12.
All right, boy. Three and three.
Well done.
This guy is on fire.
He's on fire.
This is getting better and better, isn't it?
Yeah, boy, it really is.
It's pretty impressive, actually. He's doing this right turn, which is. Nelson de Silva showed us all how to do. I think it is a second or two quicker, actually. What you're seeing now is the horse, actually, you know, he's a careful horse. He gets up in the air, but he's got this aggressive rider going with him. And he's. He's. He's now jumping forward and over the jumps, which is what you want. We don't. You don't want the horse hanging in the air. You want the horse to go forward. And he's just meeting the jump so beautifully.
Boyd is giving him just a fantastic ride. Side turn, roll back to the Wilcox.
Hang on there, buddy. There we go. That's great. 21, 22. All right, three left to go. Yeah, you never. You never do it. Get win anything without taking a chance and we can just settle him to come home. Now he's got. Got most of the harder stuff done.
He might break the female winning streak.
Not only that, he'll get first and second. And then what a Cinderella story to ride for this horse. Have the ride on this horse. Nobody deserves it more than Boyd and the Goodwin family. Take your time, Boyd. That was impressive round. Yep.
That was fantastic.
He's got to be pretty hard to live with now. Yep.
So he will be finishing in first and second.
That's incredible.
Boyd and Fetterman b on a 25.9, taking the top two spots.
He's doing a victory lap around.
I love it.
There he goes.
Takes home a $15,000 prize check for first place and a $10,000 prize check for second place. Helmet is off. Oh, that's so exciting.
Yeah. And they had a tribute to Annie here before the cross country started. And sometimes fairy tales don't work like this, but this one is. This is unbelievable.
