This is a video for the Annie Goodwin Syndicate. Well, everyone, Bruno is absolutely purring. We're putting the final finishing touches on Bruno before we head over to France to contest the PO5 star. This is a cross country training session. This was his last sort of cross country school before we we head overseas. Eric Devander came over, I think it was on Monday or Tuesday and we gave him basically a pretty light cross country school. Bruno's turned into one of the best ever cross country horses I've ever sat on. He absolutely loves it. I set my fences out on my course to try and emulate some of the questions I think we're going to get asked at po. And Bruno just flew around the whole course like he schooled it the day before. We were really, really pleased with him. He's very, very seasoned and experienced now. And the course, the French courses like the Olympic course and then this course at Poet really suits Bruno's sort of style. You need a horse that's really agile and really quick to turn and that's very strayed and light in the mouth and it's also a flat course. So obviously it's a bit of a mission going all the way back to France to compete Bruno. But in my heart of hearts, I believe that this competition, it's got Bruno's name written all over it. We're in with a challenge though. It's 73 really, really good horses going to be competing at PO. I've looked through the list. We've got a good chance. You know, some of the best of the best of the best there. A fair few of the Olympic horses are there, but I don't know, I really feel like Bruno's in top form. Peter Wilde's come and help me show jump him a few times and really we've probably put six or seven hard gallops into him and we've got him very fit. He seems very, very sound. And the biggest thing we've been really focusing on is the dressage training. Obviously Silva took him, she's taken him to three dressage shows now. So we've been on a mission to get this dressage a bit better because I do think if I ride him really well, he should go close to finishing on his dressage. So this is a bit of dressage training. Silver. I think we're actually running through the complete canter work from the five star B test, which is the test that's going to suit him. Obviously in training it's never quite as, as polished as it is for the show, but it We've just been going over and over and over. It need sort of practicing the training exactly in the spot, no leaning forward.
And I've been getting behind like right
95 of the time. So let's hope I get him when it really counts in a couple of weeks. Guys, obviously this trip's coming up and I'd like to thank there's been a number of you that have chipped in some funds to help us get across the pond. I hate asking people for money, but as you can imagine it's a bit of an expensive trip to France. And be very, very grateful for any of you guys that have donations available that could help out with our expens expenses with the travel and the grooms. And we've got Peter Wild coming and shoulders left. Anyway, it's obviously it's, it's not an ideal thing, two overseas trips in a year. But Bruno's in his prime. You just don't know how long he's going to be at the top of the sport for. So I'm. I just don't want to have a. One of the best horses in the world sitting around at the farm doing nothing. So I'm really, really keen to get over there and see if we can win it. It's good prize money too. So I'm clutching onto the idea or the dream that there's going to be a bit of payback. Anyway, guys, Bruno travels to Luxembourg. I think he flies out next Tuesday.
Let go.
Then I'm gonna do Maryland five star. And then he's going to go to Maxime Livio's which is about halfway between Luxembourg and Po. And I'll send one of my girls over there with him and then I'll meet him there on Monday and give him a jump the Monday before the competition.
Now, by your strong
thrilled with the way the horse is going, he's got
to shift all his weight to the hind leg Chance.
I mean, obviously we're 10th at the Olympic Games so we, we should be in there with a real good shot. Anyway, thank you all for the support.
That was early behind.
In a week or two he'll be on another continent, I suppose. But anyway, he's going very, very well and fired up to finish the year in great fashion.
Good.
