Boyd Martin and his horse Federmabie jump a clean round at Pau 2024, scoring 47.1. The pair finished 10th at the Paris Olympics and has consistently placed in the top six at major competitions. Commentators call Federmabie a fabulous show jumper with an exceptional back-end.
7.5. So it is your fellow countryman now in the arena. It is Federmabie. It is Boyd Martin for the United States of America, 47.1. Their first two face score 10th individually at Paris in the Olympics. They had a top six finish here last year. Top seven finish here last year at PO And Boyd was saying he was sitting just where you were during dressage commentary, and he said it was still a fantastic result for them in Paris. But he said, I just wish I could have had the dressage performance I've had here at Poe at the Olympics.
Well, I mean, it may not matter. I think, to be honest, I would give this horse, I'd put him up against any horse in eventing in the show jumping with Boyd on his back. He's just a fabulous show jumper. He's not far off being a pure show jumper. And Boyd, obviously, I think one of the best jump riders in the game. He's going to give this horse a great ride. And I mean, just look at the. Not many event horses operate like that.
No, that back end is something else.
Yeah. One Maryland just a few years ago.
Yeah. And Bruno is a horse that Boyd's had in his string for a few years now, but he's kind of gone from strength to strength. And now I think you're. You're really seeing this partnership solidify. And I don't want to jinx him, but this just looks to be another fantastic round. Putting an exclamation point on another great result of this horse.
Absolutely phenomenal. Owned by the Annie Goodwin syndicate. And some of the syndicate are here, including Patterson. Put a Goodwin, Annie Goodwin's father. What a round. And I think it is generally understood that this horse, and certainly the team think this horse could go pure show jumping. No doubt about it. Boyd, Martin and Federman. B 47.1. We have seen now several fantastic clear rounds from those just outside the top 10 or inside.
