Flinterro Z - Carolina International - March ‘24

Right.

Soccer.

I tried all that as well, but to no avail. Did not work one bit. Well, here comes our leader, Boyd Martin Flintaro Z coming in on a score to date of 26.8. It will require a double clear for him here if he wants to take the lead from Ashley Adams, who is sitting on a 29.7.

Another attractive horse. I think Boyd probably the best group of horses I've ever seen him have, honestly. You know, kind of one star all the way up to five star. He just has just a ton of quality in the stable and he's such a. An awesome rider.

I would agree with you 100%. This year and last year, I mean, I'll tell you, he's come out, he's really improved his string. And not that he's had bad horses before, but I'm not saying that, but he really has got some fabulous talent coming through his barn right now.

He does. And I think that's a good thing for America and good thing for Boyd, obviously. And, you know, I think across the board, I think our kind of top riders. At the end of the day, the game at the top level is incredibly hard and you gotta have the horse flesh and looks like this is one. It's a little rambunctious, but you can see the quality and, you know, just leave this man alone with him for a few years and you'll be seeing this one somewhere down the road, I'm sure. Wow.

Big jump to that, Boyd.

Yeah, he's a talented horse, but you can tell he's. He sort of still figuring out what he's doing and Boyd's just kind of having to nurse him around a bit, but man, he's a big, powerful looking looking guy. Be interesting to see that one. You know, I don't know how old it is, but that might be one you might be talking about when it's nine or ten years old.

Absolutely. Well, what an exciting day here of show jumping at the 2024 Setters Run Carolina International Horse Trials. I want to thank all of our FBI sponsors of the classes, Yanmar America, for the chance to run through an unmarked water before they jumped into the big water. So that's so beneficial gift from God. It is. They were to have a problem. So you are allowed to go back and jump a different part. There is an option.

Let me see the balance. The boy just put his horse in. It's just a beautiful balance.

Caroline down the hill. She's good. Through 11. Boyd coming across to the water. Last to go, Z1.

22.

Going for the win here in the One Star.

It is important for viewers to know Sid Elliot and Sancoria P.S. who are tied for fourth. They did in fact withdraw. So Boyd will be our final rider of this competition. Will take the win ahead of Ashley Adams and Global Helcon who are sitting on a score of 30.9. Boyd has a few seconds in hand here as he comes now right handed to 10. AB the coffin.

We have Mariah or finishing time will be 7:25.

Void's horse just very confident and yeah, a little looky at the water this time. But Boyd was just so there for him and confident. That was great. And he's just going from strength to strength.

Well, even if Caroline has a double clear here, she cannot take the win away from Ashley. The only man who can do that is Boyd Martin. Time to play with.

And he knows it.

He does know it. Make no mistake. He knows when he where he is at.

Mine's just such a beautiful gallop right there. Right, Just so easy. No fuss, no muscle.

Boy good off the bank there. And he is now two from home. 644. I think I heard Caroline. 644, but that doesn't sound correct. What is the time for the course? 5:49. Oh, but you know what, she did make that circle. Yeah.

So that would make sense also she would have some time and Boyd's definitely fine on his time

again. We've just had two double clears so far. As you see Boyd coming across the finish, taking a look at his watch. We will let you know as soon as we hear what his time is.

So boy finishing in a time of 5:55.
