The video presents Magic Spirit, a 2015 chestnut mare bred and owned by Denise Leahy, now offered for sale. She is by the elite eventing sire Jaguar Male and out of Rising Spirit, giving her approximately 89% Thoroughbred blood—an uncommon and highly valued pedigree in the United States. Raised in New Hampshire and trained at Windura in Pennsylvania under the speaker and assistant rider Mike, Magic Spirit has progressed rapidly to the Preliminary level, excelling in dressage, cross‑country, and show‑jumping. She has a strong competition record, winning multiple prelims and young event‑horse classes, and displays a careful, smart, and scope‑filled temperament with a good jump pop and quiet demeanor on the hack. The speaker positions her as a potential future 5‑star international prospect, a suitable mount for young riders, or an adult amateur, emphasizing her health, consistent work history, and readiness to continue competing. The mare is currently based in Pennsylvania, available for trial, and interested parties are invited to contact the seller for a test ride.

We'd like to present Magic Spirit for sale. Magic Spirits are born in 2015, bred and owned by her owner, Denise Leahy. And Magic Spirit is a beautiful young horse that's just hit the prelim level. She's done a number of prelims this year, all successful. She's fantastic in all three phases. Magic, as we call her in the barn, is by the prolific Jaguar Male. Jaguar Male would be one of the best eventing sighs in the world at the moment. Not only is she by Jaguar Male, she's out of a Primitive Rising mare called Rising Spirit. Now Primitive Risings Full Farah bred, that was the sire of Supreme Rock, Pippa Fennell, those years ago. We've had Magic since pretty much day one. Denise bred her up in New Hampshire and sort of raised her up until she was about two or three and we've done all the training with her. We sort of got her started. She was really, really easy to get going. Took her to her first show and me and my assistant rider who's on the screen at the moment, Mike, has produced her successfully just in a couple of years up to the preliminary level. She was also very successful at all the young event horse classes as our four and five year old and this year she's been absolutely awesome. Around the preliminary level. Her breeding is obviously fantastic. She clocks in at about 89% thoroughbred. I think she's qualified as a, as a self francaihorse or a British sport horse, one or the other. But you got bloodlines from, from France and England, so it's a, it's a very awesomely bred horse. Are very, very hard to find this type of breeding here in America. This mare's got a quality jump, she's got scope to burn, she's careful, she's smart and she's really fast. We go cross country just in a snaffle and, you know, just because we've had her here at Windura all these years, she's beautifully schooled. There's not a jump that she wouldn't have seen. She's lovely to be around. She's a nice quiet horse, good to hack out and she's got plenty of experience for a younger horse at that sort of preliminary level. I feel like we've done a really good job producing her. She's been a good, healthy horse and I think she potentially could be international five star horse or she'd make a great young rider horse or an adult amateur horse, you name it. This mare would suit, suit anyone. Magic Spirit at the moment is based here at our farm in Pennsylvania and ready to be trialed. As you can see in the show jumping, she's got a really good pop. She's careful, easy to defenses, quite light in the mouth, and just a naturally careful horse. Mike. Mike has helped me compete her a bit, especially at the lower levels. And then I rode around a couple of prelims, and she's confident, brave, and loves her job. It's hard to find a horse that hasn't even hit its prime for sale. Obviously, she's a young horse already at the preliminary level with, you know, a great start in her career. I feel like she's sort of ready to crack on. And she's got, I think, tremendous education from being with us since day one. And whoever ends up buying her, she's sort of ready to go. She's been competing all this year. She really hasn't missed a day's work in the last three years. So this is a real special opportunity. And if anyone's interested, please give me a call and come give Magic Spirit a try.
